Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

VividImagination
I wish I had bought a couple more, really don't want to give the one I bought away.

Grafittiqueen · 26/11/2019 10:49

@SweetPeaPods why dont you hedge your bets and buy the game on Amazon, but arrange delivery for after black Friday. Then you can cancel if you find a better price.

youscumbagyoumaggot · 26/11/2019 10:52

@VividImagination how about the fisher price smart stages puppy? My eldest enjoyed it for a couple of years and my youngest likes playing with it now.

Thanks @thaegumathteth I’ll take a look! Hadn’t actually thought about Asda!

MerryTwinkletoes · 26/11/2019 10:58

Hadn't thought about looking direct 🤦🏼‍♀️ in town later too so will try and have a look at JL while I'm there. Thanks both!!

BeaLola · 26/11/2019 11:02

Hoping that one of you crafting stars will have a suggestion for me as where to buy ?

I need some pre cut A5 and A6 cards so I can make Christmas cards - preferably black so will show gold/silver embellishment - wait - that's not the hard part (!) - I'm needing them to have white paper insert inside as part of card so I can write Christmas greetings on ( don't want to write in gold etc ) - not explaining myself very well I know ... any ideas ?

TIA

Bansku19 · 26/11/2019 11:15

Lego BOOST £94.99 at Amazon now.

BeaLola · 26/11/2019 11:15

B.....Parcelforce man delivering my adidas bargain … saw him drive up & so went downstairs expecting bell to ring only to see a card being pushed through door saying you weren't in etc & to collect from depot tomorrow onwards (depot is 30 miles away each way!) . As I opened door & called out he was only at bottom of path - he said "you weren't in I knocked " …..

cheeky so & so

As I was … on Mumsnet trying to get ideas bargains !

SweetPeaPods · 26/11/2019 11:18

@Grafittiqueen good shout, didn’t know I could do that!
@BeaLola our local driver does that all the time. So annoying!

Argh wrong thread, sorry! Meant to pist in refereal

Mistressiggi · 26/11/2019 11:28

Bealola you have my sympathy. When I saw that Adidas used parcelforce I selected delivery to a local shop as I knew it would be a nightmare to collect.

orangemouth · 26/11/2019 11:29

Thank you for the Levi's code, got 3 presents sorted for hard to buy for DH, step-dad and step-brother.

Youreadthebabybooks · 26/11/2019 11:35

Anyone know if Disney store online has any further reductions on Black Friday ?

Trumpton · 26/11/2019 11:40

@BeaLola
Could you buy black cards like THIS FROM AMAZON and either stickplain white folded paper in or even a plain white card ?

wibdib · 26/11/2019 11:40

@Themazeoflife Sainsbury’s for boys jeans - (and womens!) - they have their Tu 25% off offer on today for the next week. Argos also sell them now and can be a handy pick up place if you don’t have a Sainsbury’s nearby.

Asda can also be really good for jeans - ds likes their plain black skinny ones that have plenty of stretch in - so they’re apparently more comfortable to wear (and race around playing footie!). Both brands seem to wear well - I used to be your boring m&s shopper as it was easy and there and what I was used to. Can’t remember the last time I bought anything there - Sainsbury’s and Asda jeans both fit better and last longer, Sainsbury’s T-shirt’s are great quality for plain T-shirt’s, some nice patterned ones too. So they pretty much cover everyday basics - and looking in better places for outfit for wedding next month... not surprised M&S are struggling more these days!

Mistressiggi · 26/11/2019 11:44

@woodwaj my ds swears by turtlebeach

Themazeoflife · 26/11/2019 11:53

Turtlebeach or Razer Kraken headphones

VividImagination · 26/11/2019 11:54

@youscumbagyoumaggot that’s a great wee puppy. I will check with his granny that he doesn’t have it and go with that.

BlueOooChristmas · 26/11/2019 11:56

I know this is a tough one but does anyone have any tips on how to get hold of a LOL OMG s2 at retail price? In previous years I've used stockinformer for hard to find items but for some reason this year my notifications seem slow and the stock is already gone by the time I check.

BeaLola · 26/11/2019 11:59

Anyone have a Not On The High Street code please ?

Thank you Trumpton I was trying to avoid the sticking as wanted them to look as good as possible and not convinced I could stick professionally as it were

woodwaj · 26/11/2019 11:59

Thank you all for the headset recommendations ive made a list and will check them all out.

PinkDaydreams · 26/11/2019 12:02

Cheapest I’ve seen this busy book. Lovely books, nice size, lots of other titles within the same range but I haven’t checked prices. I’ve bought some other titles for my 2 year old for Xmas.

Has anyone seen any codes for FatFace please? I want to get DD1 a new dressing gown.

Also, any recommendations for another brand to get a dressing gown for her sister? Fatface quality is absolutely superior but they only have the one colourway available. Have tried M&S (possible), Joules,, White Stuff, Boden and nothing suitable.

TIA!

Goingovertosusanshouse · 26/11/2019 12:09

My moomin notebook is on its way, I bought it for myself and now I’m regretting not buying more. They’ve gone up in price now!
