Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@BigmouseLittlehouse
The best jigsaws I think are wentworth puzzles. Wooden pieces and quite irregular and include whimsy pieces e.g shaped like a harp, a horse or a thistle
They are about £25 for 250 pieces though and rarely reduced much and they seem to hold value even on eBay

Thank you very much @STARE2016 for the Boden Code, making something on my DM's wish list a bit more affordable!

thaegumathteth · 25/11/2019 17:12

Thanks Reastie

I noticed today that little mix new tour tickets are going in sale on Thursday - it won't be bargainous but just a heads up!

Also Tesco have a lot if not all of their health and beauty sets half price

imsorryiasked · 25/11/2019 17:13

@DragonMamma try here for the Spy Dog set (they also have the Spy Pups and Spy Cats series).

tabbycat985 · 25/11/2019 17:28

My Poundland had matchmakers today for just 75p, all flavours & long dates, cheapest I've seen them in a while!

Lovemusic33 · 25/11/2019 17:30

Smiggle has 40% off some items, they also have bundles (back pack, pencil case, lunch bag, drink bottle and pencils) for £20 which seems a good deal.

DragonMamma · 25/11/2019 17:34

imsorryiasked thank you! I’ve only seen them for nearly £30 so that’s much better 👍🏻

Tiredmummyof3 · 25/11/2019 17:37

Birch box are on Quidco too....you get £1 back, making it £4 for 2 boxes 😁

Thehollyandtheirony · 25/11/2019 17:38

Another vote for Wentworth puzzles. There is a small discount on their site but it says it’s ending today so I guess they are doing a different offer for Black Friday.

Who was after Le Creuset in Volcanic? Today’s offer is a round and an oval casserole for £195.

BigmouseLittlehouse · 25/11/2019 17:39

Thank you @abitoflight will take a look

welshpolarbear · 25/11/2019 17:45

Djeco jigsaws are gorgeous. They are aimed at kids but we have some for us, specifically the big octopus and we love them. Excellent quality too.

MissMarple0203 · 25/11/2019 17:45

I need help with what to buy for my husband!! He's so hard to buy for... Any suggestions would be gratefully received!! He doesn't need clothes, computer games, CDs/dvds/laptop etc... I literally cannot think of anything to get him...doesn't help his bday is in November!

Also, whilst I'm asking for help...does anyone know if the Dyson airwrap is due to be on a Black Friday offer? Thanks!

welshpolarbear · 25/11/2019 17:50

www.crafts4kids.co.uk/octopus-500pcs-djeco-puzzle

Just found it for £12.50. It's £25 on Amazon! £3.50 delivery though.

noodledoodler · 25/11/2019 18:03

I got £1.10 back from toocashback for the birchbox offer

coffeetofunction · 25/11/2019 18:06

50% off on the nasty gal app.

Also not Christmas related but may be of use if you don't already know but if your an AA member there are a number of places you can get discount including halfords

Elphaba17 · 25/11/2019 18:10

Thanks to Goingovertosusanshouse and
DoctorNicoleWatterson on the last thread for answering my question about the £15 boden voucher. I was driving myself nuts trying to find the post that first mentioned it. I'll give the cox and cox order a go as I wanted to order anyway. DN saw the Christmas pjs I ordered for DD and loved them but they are out of my budget and not really needed- but would be a nice bonus if a voucher did turn up.

I have a voucher for coffee and cake at John Lewis if anyone would like it? I've no store nearby so never use them. Happy to post if anyone can make use of it x

Mistressiggi · 25/11/2019 18:14

Just had a nice chat with amazon delivery guy, as I collected a parcel at the door with a blanket ready to hide it in - he said if you order on your phone you don't see it but on the computer there's an option for packaging. I never knew why other people saw this as I never have! He said he was going to bring some bin bags to work so he could hide the toys that weren't in boxes. What a sweetie.

LetThemEatDrama · 25/11/2019 18:14

Just got the order confirmation through for my Birchboxes and the December payment gets taken on 1st December so you pretty much need to cancel straight away to avoid paying for that one too. Checked the FAQs and even if you cancel asap you still get the 2 for £5, just means they won't charge you for December.

Theonlyoneiknow · 25/11/2019 18:17

Hi Peeps just wondering if anyone had seen a Debenhams discount code? Some things are already 20% off but it's a pricey item 🙈 TIA TOOIK Google didn't throw anything up :(

Junobug · 25/11/2019 18:26

I just came on to warn people about Birchbox and not cancelling orders straight away. A few of us got caught out last year when they waited to charge and sent the box right at the end of the month and then charged for the next month straight away. I know they entitled to do so but it was really cheeky and has put me off using them again.

PinkDaydreams · 25/11/2019 18:27

Apologies as I can’t remember who the poster was, but just to say thank you so much for the playmobil treasure box tip. I’ve received my order today and am so happy with it! Everything in boxes, all brand new, super happy! They’ll be going into the loft for next Christmas (possibly even the Christmas after Blush )

BeaLola · 25/11/2019 18:31

For suggestions on making up pennies for Amazon free postage I tend to buy haberdashery e.g. a roll of cotton, some poppers or anything else small that I will need.

Also ref Christmas jumpers - Primark or Next or M&S

NotYourHolidayDick · 25/11/2019 18:33

So with the Birchboxes, is there anyway around the £2.95 p&p?

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 25/11/2019 18:38

Evening. Urban outfitters have just sent me an email saying all members get 25% everything. Just get the app and sign up

Goldenphoenix · 25/11/2019 18:38

What was the Playmobile Treasure Box tip please? That totally passed me by. Thanks @PinkDaydreams
