Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

That filler checker website is AMAZING for topping up an Amazon order to £20.
Thank you!

@Themazeoflife my go to for my 15 year olds jeans is always next. Although I get him men's jeans now so I can get the right waist and length (he's very tall). I just bought my 14 year old a straight legged pair in the TU sale.

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 26/11/2019 09:03

@Themazeoflife Boden is our go to for 'proper' ie not skinny/ripped/frayed jeans. 30% off at the moment too.

username2020 · 26/11/2019 09:15

cheap male aftershave? under £20 but a good brand (not an old man or teenager brand).

Themazeoflife · 26/11/2019 09:21

9 week delivery!
Thought I had found the perfect pair, the hunt continues.

Whattodowithaminute · 26/11/2019 09:24

I was all set to get DS the decathlon oxelo scooter but it seems like everyone has micro sprites-has anyone done a comparison between the two?

woodwaj · 26/11/2019 09:29

Can anyone help me with advice on headsets (with mic) mainly for playing fortnite on the xbox one budget around £50 I need two so preferably in different colours thanks in advance!!

Serg · 26/11/2019 09:34

QVC have a Philosophy TSV pre-launch.
3 x perfume + matched shower gel for £48.
New customers get £5 so 3 decent presents for £43.

Ibelieveinyou · 26/11/2019 09:38

@SquishySquirmy have you tried private browsing, that may get rid of the 10% code?

Thanks everyone for the ideas and bargains, I’ve been lurking for a few weeks and have got some brilliant gifts!

Not Chrimassy as such but looking for a girls double duvet set preferably cotton if anyone can help? I feel I’ve exhausted the shops! Just decorated dd’s bedroom and all I can find are grown up ones or polyester (she has sensitive skin.) Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Also Molton Brown have begun their Black Friday deals with 25% off if that’s any help to anyone?

DennisSkinnersMolotov · 26/11/2019 09:46

@username2020, Ted Baker is usually around that price and really lovely.

Smileatthesmallthings · 26/11/2019 09:50

BIL has asked for a couple of books that I can get on Wordery. I know there was talk about it in an earlier thread - is there a code or is it just a more bargainous site?

VividImagination · 26/11/2019 09:58

@Themazeoflife ds2 (now 22) swears by M&S straight leg jeans. He’s bought them there for years.

The last gifts I need are for a little boy who will be a year old in December. He’s actually very closely related although we don’t know him well. I love some of the Mickey Mouse clothes from Gap but I know some people don’t like Disney. I was looking at the Nuby bath toys posted up thread but they are moving house in a fortnight and I don’t think the new house has a bath. Budget about £15-20 for each birthday and Christmas.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 26/11/2019 09:58

@Whattodowithaminute I am waiting for a great deal on a micro sprite, don't think it's going to happen. I haven't heard of the other one. Mine have had micro scooters since they were small so just thought I'd stick with what I know. They've always lasted well.

Tiredmummyof3 · 26/11/2019 09:58

Any recommendations on somewhere that sells nice earrings for MIL, preferably bargainous! Thank you

recklessgran · 26/11/2019 10:02

@woodwaj I bought these last week for DGS.
www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07HKGH683/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?psc=1&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&ie=UTF8
I collected a £4 off on the way to the checkout so they were a bargainous £19.99. I have no idea what they're like as I know nothing about gaming but DH reckoned they're great for the money and this DGS is only 11 so fine for him.

recklessgran · 26/11/2019 10:09

Please can someone remember the site where you could get Christmas stickers? I'm being poncy now and want them for sticking tissue paper pre-wrapping rather than using sellotape. Thanks.

VividImagination · 26/11/2019 10:13

My Moomin notebooks have arrived from wordery. They are absolutely beautiful. I think they are teacher gifts.

@Smileatthesmallthings BOOKAHOLICS10 gives you 10% off when you buy 2 or more books.

thaegumathteth · 26/11/2019 10:14

@Tiredmummyof3 I would really recommend Mama Tigerlily on Facebook - she makes them all herself and they are really reasonably priced

thaegumathteth · 26/11/2019 10:18

@Ibelieveinyou these any use asda ?

thaegumathteth · 26/11/2019 10:19

@Ibelieveinyou meant to say you can filter by material - there's a butterfly one that's nice

Whattodowithaminute · 26/11/2019 10:20

@BeauticianNotMagician81 thanks-the oxelo is just a decathlon one (£59.99 and someone mentioned they may do a Black Friday deal too 🤞) my DS had micro scooters when younger and I really rate them but I’m not sure they will use a scooter much now-short journeys to their clubs etc but older ds is becoming more brand conscious so there’s no point in spending £60 on this one if he will only use a sprite-ahhh!!!

CoffeeAndEnnui · 26/11/2019 10:21

Fan Grrrl (used to be La La Land) have all their printed totes for £5 today! A tonne of nice zeitgeisty (and retro) pop culture themes. Fleabag, Keanu, Ryan Gosling and various musicians also featured so could make nice cheapish gift by putting a corresponding DVD inside the bag.

As with the old incarnation of the site remember that ordering shipping etc take a while as she is a one-woman operation (and maybe not prepared for the Mumsnet bargain hunter stampede) but I've been shopping there for years and have never been disappointed.

Tiredmummyof3 · 26/11/2019 10:21

Thanks @thaegumathteth I'll take a look.

SleeptightDaisy · 26/11/2019 10:30
