Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Hi guys, does anyone know about gaming steering wheels and pedals sets? My DS is hoping for one but it's a bit of minefield. Was hoping to pick one up over the Black Friday deals!

livinginhope87 · 26/11/2019 05:48

Could anyone give me some suggestions on what to get for my FIL, he doesn't have any hobbies really, I just need a few small things! Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Sneezein3s · 26/11/2019 06:52

Hi everyone- thanks for the new threat @Reastie.

Just a little heads up - Boden gift voucher codes don’t seem to expire! I’ve just used one I found lying around and the expiry date was September! Good luck bargain hunters I just got a pair of boots from £50 to £25 with 30% code and then gift voucher 😊

margaritasbythesea · 26/11/2019 07:20

livinginhope87 - I would get him something nice to eat, something nice to drink and something to do together when you see him over Christmas (DVD of old film he used to like, silly game, GCHQ puzzle book or the Ordnance survey one).

Renovirgin2018 · 26/11/2019 07:28

I finally have something to add!
30% off Levi with EARLY30 ends tonight. X

MerryTwinkletoes · 26/11/2019 07:29

Morning bargaineers!

I need to buy 2 micro scooters for Christmas, anyone know of any elusive discounts please to help reduce my pain a little??

SweetPeaPods · 26/11/2019 07:29

Amazon have the Nintendo switch game that DS1 wants £10 cheaper than Smyths. Debating whether to get it now or wait and see how it goes Black Friday. Still need to buy the switch console but haven’t seen the new battery one drop in price yet.

SweetPeaPods · 26/11/2019 07:30

@MerryTwinkletoes John Lewis did have money off, not sure if they still do?

Sizeofalentil · 26/11/2019 07:30

@newroundhere hema have marzipan fruits and potatoes!

Lovemusic33 · 26/11/2019 07:42

Off real life shopping today and bargain hunting. Only a couple gifts left to buy, just had emails telling me several parcels are coming today (only issue with all this online shopping 🤣). Holding out for a couple things on Friday in hope they are reduced. Nothing that interesting in Amazon deals this morning, was hoping for some better Lego sets but think I missed the boat with the Harry Potter Lego the other day Sad.

If anyone car recommend a mechanical marble run (not the plastic colourful ones) for dd2 I would appreciate it? They don’t seem to get great reviews.

Bryna · 26/11/2019 07:45

@MerryTwinkletoes Micro had some Black Friday offers on their website, I'm not sure if they're still live.

If not keep an eye on Halfords as they also have offers on them (on and off) however not on the model I need to buy😩

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 26/11/2019 07:50

I was in Poundland yesterday and they had some lovely tins with sweets/biscuits in. a sloth one, llama, flamingos, Scotty dog. plus the Danish biscuits in a Santa tin a few different designs. I got them for my girls stockings. also lots more llama and sloth bits.

and I got a frozen 2 2020 diary in there too.

plus some packs of 6 crackers with make your own card character inside. well worth a look for stocking fillers 😁

buckeejit · 26/11/2019 07:50

@Lovemusic33 my ds announced last night that he wants a gravitrax which looks like what you might be after & has good reviews

username2020 · 26/11/2019 07:50

Elphaba17 · 26/11/2019 08:06

lotusbell · 26/11/2019 08:25

@PinkJam, not quite everything as my best mate found out yesterday, typical!

lifelongfrugaleer · 26/11/2019 08:34

So my choice for DD main present is Curry's or Amazon. Which to choose?

gaggiagirl · 26/11/2019 08:42

lifelongfrugaleer I would weigh up price, delivery, convenience and cashback options.

Themazeoflife · 26/11/2019 08:44

Need help!

Have to find a pair of jeans for a 15 year old boy, not skinny, not turned up, full length (not the ankle length ones), no rips or holes.

Bonus points for a discount code or free postage.
