Oh wise ones, I’m going to be making a big purchase from buy a gift. Should I hold out for Black Friday, do they do good deals then?

recklessgran · 15/11/2019 18:51

@hoopdeloop if I was you I'd probably hold fire. I think the best is yet to come unless you've found a particularly good voucher code/discount. I'm after a number of vouchers from there as I'm doing one of my DD's a hamper of activities so watching closely. I too would be interested in the MN collective's opinion though. [We need some insiders!]

hypodermicnurdle · 15/11/2019 18:54

Bryna · 15/11/2019 18:58

myfavouriterain · 15/11/2019 19:43

Looking for a low price on perfume, black opium intense, ideally the 50ml..

Gustavo1 · 15/11/2019 19:56

[https://www.allbeauty.com/ perfume at good prices]
Not plugging as such. As I said, I bought some perfume from here for my mum at a great price compared to Debenhams etc. A few other posters vouched for the site before I tried it. Genuine stuff with fast delivery [santa]

Gustavo1 · 15/11/2019 19:57

Sorry for link, sometimes can, sometime can’t!

username2020 · 15/11/2019 20:07

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 15/11/2019 20:18

I'm back looking on the gruum site and tempted to do another order but this time taking the subscription option to get it cheaper. Has anyone done this and was it easy enough to cancel?

mogtheexcellent · 15/11/2019 21:49

@margaritasbythesea the crackers are out of stock for delivery I believe. Only click and collect if you have availability in local store.

Justyou · 15/11/2019 22:00

Do Argos have any more 20% off offers soon?

MeMyElfandI · 15/11/2019 22:02

Please can I have the Celtic Sheepskin code as I need some sheepskin insoles at a knock down price as my feet were freezing standing on train platform this morning . Thanks.

tentative3 · 15/11/2019 22:09

Can anyone recommend books for a 2 and 5 year old? I want 'nice' books that would be kept as a childhood memory, don't have kids myself so not sure whether Peter Rabbit/Winnie the Pooh are too old?

PunkAssMoFo · 15/11/2019 22:16

@tentative3 my kids love the Paddington collection. They also like The Wombles. We have audiobooks to these as well as paper copies.
They’re great family stories.

imsorryiasked · 15/11/2019 22:25

@Tentative3 - Shirley Hughes and Nick Butterworth are good authors to look for - beautifully illustrated and lovely stories.

@MeMyElfandI this the text of Garden Worms original post

AWLA19 gets £10 off and free delivery at Celtic&Co must have a full priced item costing at least £10 in your basket.

recklessgran · 15/11/2019 23:19

There is 20% off all nightwear, slippers and accessories at Monsoon and up to 30% off partywear. The code AUTUMN15 will take a further 15% off all purchases in addition to the reductions.
