velcro this site is doing BOGOF on their £15 toys. They do soft blocks which connect vwith velcro. Either just blocks or there's a robot, a dog, a dinosaur amongst others.

LiverbirdNo my son will be getting a 6 pack of die-cast Paw Patrol vehicles. They are about the same size as Hot Wheels. Although not particularly bargainous, it seems a happy compromise between his desire for character toys and my desire to absolutely not have big, plastic character toys! Can't do a photo or link at the moment, but they are £22 on Amazon for the 6 pack.

@Themazeoflife I use an IKEA white metal plant pot (a pretty one) for all of my brushes. I have an entire make up drawer in the desk my dressing table. And it's starting to escape the drawer

can anyone recommend some books similar to point horror for tween DD? I think point horror are way out of date now but DD seems to have gotten into horror and suspense shows and films so thought some books like this might interest her for xmas.

I’ve had a look at all my thread bargains today and Ds who’s 12 pile looks a bit miserable next to DD’s pile of toys. He’s getting a phone so don’t want to send loads but any ideas for bulky presents to even it out. I’ve just ordered him some teddy bedding as he’ll love that. He likes gaming and football- any ideas? I’ve bought a Birch Box and two QVC Tili boxes to make my own beauty advent. I’m not too familiar with the contents of the three boxes as only quickly glanced at them to check I’d like/use the majority of the products so should get a nice surprise every day. How can I get DH to package them up in an adventy way? I guess I’m asking for your empty advent calendar recommendations, ones that you fill yourself. I’ve seen a couple house type ones but the drawers on those will be far too small for most of these products. Can’t think of anything and now wondering if I’ll have to buy an empty M&S one or similar from eBay?
