Couldn’t resist the title given the chatter about the hampers. Cross fingers they arrive and are fantastic or that refunds are fast and painless.

Thank you for the heads up about the Yankee code. Managed to get 3 of the limited edition candles for less than the £50 offer that they currently have

SlayingDragons · 11/11/2019 08:19

@Spam88 If you have nectar points to spend then it might be worth your while seeing if your local Sainsburys have them in. Mine definitely has a Mario game in (because it’s on my list for my nephew so I’ve already checked). Obviously different stores have different stock and you’d need points to double up, but it might be worth checking. I can’t find the Mario game cheaper anywhere so will be buying it on double up as the only way to get it in budget

PinkJam · 11/11/2019 08:22

L’Occitane today only get 2 free 10ml limited edition Shea butter hand creams when you spend £20 or more

Reastie · 11/11/2019 08:22

UrbanMage that is weird. I hope they found where they needed to be.

Thanks to the pp for the colouring books. A great price mine should be arriving today and we bought the ice cream cart. Sure my dd will love it and it's the one thing she keeps asking for.

imsorryiasked · 11/11/2019 09:03

@Hoooo try mountain warehouse - there is always a code kicking around, and really good sale reductions. Eg this one

I stupidly let the kitchen I wanted go out of stock on ASDA (pictured), had my fingers crossed that it would come back in but no luck!
Does anyone have this one from Studio or can recommend something similar?

I managed to get Mario Cart and Mario party for the Nintendo switch from Tesco's both for £60. Happy as each retail for around the £40 each. Deal is on till 14/11 and includes a few different games

SleeptightDaisy · 11/11/2019 09:45

@Barbarara Ds has just done the same to us he wanted the Lego red Hulk Vs Hulk it's a retired product so can't get it anywhere managed to win a brand new one on eBay and now he's changed his mind and wants some Minecraft Lego also a retired product. We are thinking of putting it back up on eBay.

BadgerFace · 11/11/2019 10:17

If Amazon is easier for anyone than Argos then wanted to let you know I got the ice cream cart for £28 by choosing without packaging. It came in a brown box with leap frog etc written on the side so not obvious for non-readers. I got DH to distract DD1 although it wasn’t too risky as I will probably give it to DD2 for her birthday rather than it be from Father Christmas.

Themazeoflife · 11/11/2019 10:24

Can anyone recommend me a daily planner, I would like a nice one rather than something plain.

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 11/11/2019 10:26

Oh no for all the little darlings changing their minds. If they’re young enough to be believers it might be an idea to write to Santa. I’ve done this with DS and explained that he can’t change his mind once we’ve done the letter?

Fabuleuse · 11/11/2019 11:09

I'm a lurker here but thanks so much for all the ideas - I am nearly finished my shopping thanks to this thread! My contribution is that there were little retro matchbox puzzles for only 39p each in my local Home Bargains. They come in 12 different varieties and the packaging is lovely - they look much more expensive. I'm going to buy a fill your own crackers kit and use these as fillers - I think they will go down really well with our family. They'd also be a good stocking gift. These look like the same ones (but obviously don't buy them from here - £29.99 for the full set versus £4.68 in Home Bargains!):

banskuwansku · 11/11/2019 11:27

Dc change their mind on daily basis. We have bought their Xmas presents and I am sure they will like them. If they come up with something they really want we say they can have it for their birthday.

andi76 · 11/11/2019 11:38

@Fabuleuse - thanks for that (already need to look in Home Bargains for the large marshmallow hot choc toppers that someone mentioned a thread or so back (or I saw in yet another group)).

recklessgran · 11/11/2019 12:03

DON'T BUY FROM M&S - apologies for "shouting" but I've just received another set of 20% off codes that are valid from 14th - 18th November.
[PM me if you want one of them - I've got 10 going spare.]

MyIncapableOne · 11/11/2019 12:09

I have a 20% off Balsham Hill code a ends tonight at Midnight. PM me in you’d like it.

Dangerfloof · 11/11/2019 12:18

@thaegumathteth

Pandora sometimes do codes. More often it's a free item when you spend x.
They do have a sale too about twice a year.

I'm kicking myself now cos I just deleted a email from them without looking at it. And yes emptied email bin too. It's gone.

noodledoodler · 11/11/2019 12:19

Just thought I would share this for anyone planning to gift tea or coffee bags, looks like a bit of fun.
It says to use a glue gun but glue dots would probably work too.

Has anyone come across a toy sword of Gryffindor from Harry Potter? My 8 year old has asked for one and I can only find super expensive ones or small letter openers.

Elphaba17 · 11/11/2019 12:36

Recklessgran, I've just sent you a PM re the M&S code.

I got some codes emailed last time, but about a week later than the first ones that were posted here so I'll offer out any that I receive too.
