Couldn’t resist the title given the chatter about the hampers. Cross fingers they arrive and are fantastic or that refunds are fast and painless.

Haven't caught up fully but thank you to pp for yankee code. I always get my mum a yankee advent as a thank you for everything she does for us. You can get the 20% off which doesn't usually happen. You can also get a free woodwick petite candle if you spend £30 so I added one of those. Once discount added it was £27.99 then £2.99 p&p, so I added another woodwick petite which was on sale for £2.99 to take it to £30.98 so free p&p. Happy with that as I needed the advent calendar and got that and two woodwick petite candles for £30.98.

22Giraffes · 10/11/2019 19:36

@doriana8 found these nice Under Armour backpacks for £9, with a further 20% off when you use the code EXTRA20. There is a choice of 3 colours I think.

doriana8 · 10/11/2019 19:44

Thank you 22Giraffes, they look good, but postage is 4.99 .. will keep looking. Thank you anyway

LadyNina00 · 10/11/2019 20:13

@doriana8
With code EXTRA20 (20% off) it takes the price down to £7.20 if that helps at all.

doriana8 · 10/11/2019 20:28

Thanks, I need a few so, trying to keep it around £7, thanks for your help though

UrbanMage · 10/11/2019 20:29

Well DD has announced that she now LOVES LOL dolls after playing with her cousins yesterday. The little ones. Fuckssakes. Hoped to have avoided that.

So if anyone has any bargains for LOLs or has more of a clue than me, please let me know!

In another note So, ten minutes ago Dh and I are in the kitchen and the doorbell rings. Open the door to an emergency ambulance woman with a defib kit. She says "Hi the ambulance is here."
We say "sorry, what?"
"This is Number Streename?"
"Yeah, but no one had called an ambulance here. Sorry".

They then left.
Very odd. Our street has a peculiar name around here as it is and the postcode is hard to mistake as something else.

Very odd.

Someaddedsugar · 10/11/2019 20:30

@Reastie I received the black one - if you scroll down the photos on the listing you should be able to see the charm - I would say it’s about the size of a 5p coin and the engraving is very clear. I was really touched by mine as it definitely felt thoughtful. Once DS has decided to go to sleep I’ll take a photo of it (currently struggling with an incredibly hyper toddler who wants to use his bed as a trampoline!)

Someaddedsugar · 10/11/2019 20:31

@Reastie I think you can’t go wrong with the grey - I’m sure that would go with a lot of other colours.

banskuwansku · 10/11/2019 20:37

@UrbanMage try Argos for LOL stuff. Use the code toys20 to get 20% off. Dd hasn't luckily get into lol dolls. Probably because she doesn't like dolls.

Courtney555 · 10/11/2019 20:41

Toys20 just didn't work for me... Has it ended?

22Giraffes · 10/11/2019 20:46

@doriana8 no worries, hope you find something Smile

@Courtney555 TOYS20 doesn't end until Tuesday, was your basket total over £20? I don't think there were any other restrictions ! Congrats on your Christmas twins btw BearBear

Dreamingofwalden · 10/11/2019 20:48

@AndddddHerewegoagain and @Gustavo1
I think it’s me who keeps recommending Sennheiser earphones. I spent a long spell in NICU with my twins in the Spring and was looking for earphones. My muso BiL recommended these to me and I love them. Mine were about £80 but they’re wireless. I’ve linked to the cheaper ones. I promise I don’t work for them. Smile

They seem to be a good price on Amazon at the moment but you may want to shop around. earphones
