Couldn’t resist the title given the chatter about the hampers. Cross fingers they arrive and are fantastic or that refunds are fast and painless.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions on doing clicks links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know in bold or @ me Thanks

Help needed for a friend - her kids are desperate for an Anki Robot.

Anyone has one and can offer a review? Good/bad etc? She’s found a good deal (she’s not based in U.K.) but doesn’t know anyone who actually has one and is hoping for some personal feedback.

whereareyousleep · 10/11/2019 15:33

Xmas eves boxes containing a book letter from Santa, cookies and door hanger £3 from home bargains picked a couple up today and they are great for the money with a few other bits in.

NoGravyForYou · 10/11/2019 15:40

10% off Cloud10 beauty with code OOPS. Probably more for Irish people, as I think it's an Irish website. The SoSue Christmas stuff just launched on there.

stormsurfer · 10/11/2019 15:45

Thanks @Tooner they look a great wee extra, or I might just keep them for myself.

eitak22 · 10/11/2019 15:52

Thanks for the Cath Kidston tip, have bought a hard to buy friend a nice present for Christmas.

Has anyone got any ideas for good websites to find 'Geek' gifts, our usual go to has now closed down and need some suggestions.

LadyNina00 · 10/11/2019 15:53

@whereareyousleep

Thanks for the Christmas Eve box tip. Will be popping in for those soon Smile

VividImagination · 10/11/2019 15:59

@Tooner thank you so much for the Harry Potter onesie link. Free delivery too! That’s me finished for Ds3.

Gustavo1 · 10/11/2019 16:00

@noodledoodler Have I missed a link to good coffee? Would you mind posting it again?

BestofLuck · 10/11/2019 16:01

PRINT2 gets you 25% off Halo coffee pods. They're made from paper and sugarcane and apparently fully degrade in the composter in 4 weeks. Some nice sounding flavours Halo

Shakirasma · 10/11/2019 16:15

@eitak22

You could try
Typo
Menkind
Zavvi
Geek store

HamWater · 10/11/2019 16:28

@eitak22 My go to geek shopping is from www.grand-illusions.com . I especially like their maths toys.

AndddddHerewegoagain · 10/11/2019 16:29

Sorry to ask but the search function isn't working! Someone posted about ear phones around £50 that they recommended. Needed for a 12 year old if that makes a difference

Reastie · 10/11/2019 16:41

@Themazeoflife have you got a budget? Can you give us ages, interests for these chaps. - will try to help.
On another matter anyone know about sheet masks? I'm told these would be a good idea for adult DD's stockings. There seem to be loads available and I've no clue! Any recommendations? They're all English rose types with sensitive skins if that helps. TIA

allatonce99 · 10/11/2019 16:47

Barbarara · 10/11/2019 17:11

Someaddedsugar · 10/11/2019 17:12

@Reastie I got this scarf as a secret santa gift last year from someone at work and I love it - it can be personalised too with a little tag on with your initial - it definitely made me feel like a lot of thought had been put into it!

Themazeoflife · 10/11/2019 17:25

recklessgran

Ages 21-25 and a 35 year old, around £5-£10 per person, stocking filler types gifts.

Reastie · 10/11/2019 17:30

Someaddedsugar I really like that (plus might be cheap to post Grin ). I’m not sure what colour I’d go for though as I don’t even know what this ss person looks like for her colouring! I’m wondering if I could go wrong with navy or charcoal but people can be so soecific with what colours they wear. Annoyingly there isn’t a photo of the letter charm. If you’re able to see what yours looks like would love to see.

@tinysnickersaremyfavourite the leapfrog ice cream cart is for role playing ice cream shop. But it also talks so teaches colours and also basic maths. I've bought it for my nearly 5 year old who is a little bit old. I'd say 3-4 is probably better so I think you'll be fine.

recklessgran · 10/11/2019 17:46

@Themazeoflife here are a few suggestions for you;
£5 Costa coffee gift card with travel coffee mug
£5 Nandos gift card with bottle of Nandos sauce [Cheap in Supermarket]
Gym goers - ice towel or wrist wallet both useful and under £10 -Amazon probably best for these.
Coffee bags - nice tin of flavoured coffee bags from Real Coffee Bag Company [Cart10 will give you 10% off] From £4.99
Little car hamper containing de-icer, squeegee, car air freshener, screen wipes.
Magnetic wrist band , flexitorch for handy types.
Face mask sheets - the young men seem to like them if they're in to skin care.
Superdrug have a few decent male stocking fillers such as a selfie light/little fun games.Free delivery if you have or sign up for their beauty card.
Ditto Debenhams.

thaegumathteth · 10/11/2019 18:05
