Couldn’t resist the title given the chatter about the hampers. Cross fingers they arrive and are fantastic or that refunds are fast and painless.

@PinkDaydreams you’re welcome. We use them for looking at the different birds in the garden so I think they’d be suitable for her. Hope they come back in stock!

@poopapoopa how about a pocket telescope? I have trouble using binoculars and look through two scopes, but these are just as good

@Dogmatix it was the Real Coffee Bag Company. Posh looking tins of 10 coffee bags [choice of flavour] for £4.99. At the time the code CART10 took 10% off - not sure if that still works. They also do a monthly subscription for a silly amount [?about£3] - again there was an offer on for that and you could select when you want it to start so you don't spoil the surprise for the recipient.

My 9yr old ds spends a lot of time reading in his room. He sits on his bed, I’m thinking of getting him a bean bag armchair and footstool. Does anyone have any recommendations?

PoopaPoopa · 07/11/2019 11:24

Thanks @Raindancer411 it was @PinkDaydreams who was looking for binoculars. @pinkdaydreams see @raindancer411 post ^^

PinkDaydreams · 07/11/2019 11:27

Thank you For the telescope tip! I’ll ask her which she would prefer Flowers

PinkDaydreams · 07/11/2019 11:28

I’m looking for a posting game for my nearly 2 year old. Looked on eBay and they’re still quite expensive second hand. I’ve seen orchard games post game and two different early learning centre ones. I’m after a bargain if anyone knows of any or if you can recommend a different one to what I’ve already found please?!

Raindancer411 · 07/11/2019 11:35

@Pinkdaydreams I lose track of who says what lol

PinkDaydreams · 07/11/2019 11:41

Does anyone know when the Christmas themed scratch cards come out please? Wanting to buy a few as stocking fillers.
Thank you!

Raindancer411 · 07/11/2019 11:42

They are out now in my Tesco

PinkDaydreams · 07/11/2019 11:49

Fab!! I’ll try my local asda later on. The queue is always massive so didn’t want to wait in line then find they didn’t have any yet!

Vebrithien · 07/11/2019 11:52

Spode Christmas tree soup bowls In case anyone missed the Spode deal earlier, or wanted some more of the soup bowls, they are currently on offer at £28 (down from £84) for a set of 4.
The code HELLO20 will also take 20% off of them ( down to £22.40) with free delivery.
The hello code should work on most things, and may even work on the sets.

Gilead · 07/11/2019 11:58

Thank you dogmatix

PinkDaydreams · 07/11/2019 12:02

Sorry I’m bombarding you all this morning!! Little ones asleep so trying to get Christmas organized.
I’m looking for a train whistle for the little one. He loves his wooden recorder so thinking he will like a whistle. Has anyone seen a wooden train whistle that’s either in a shop or from the uk please? Dubious buying from eBay/amazon as the sellers all seem to be from China and I’m worried about quality as it’s for my nearly 2 year old.
Thanks all!

CatelynStark · 07/11/2019 12:06

Hope this helps someone, especially the poster who was asking about cheapie photo tiles.

My youngest told me about an app called Photo Tiles where you get a free one every month and just pay for postage.
Mine came yesterday and they’re really nice - I bought an additional three for £8 each and I think £5.99 postage.
There’s a sister app called Free Prints and one called Photobooks with the same concept. My free prints and free photo book came really quickly and I’m impressed with the quality.

I am looking for something generic I can give to a variety of nieces and nephews and godchildren age about 11-17. I haven’t enough time or money going spare this year to do something particular for everyone.

Ideally this mystery item could be given to siblings without being too boring. As there are quite a lot of them I really would rather not use vouchers because that’s got to be about £15 each...

thesoo · 07/11/2019 12:22

I have a £5 off £30 spend Lakeland code. PM me if you could use it.

Batbear · 07/11/2019 12:23

Has anyone ever bought a Kano Computer Building set. Looks like its £150 but wondering if it ever comes down on Black Friday deals?

My codes this morning are 25% of everything at New Look XMAS25

And free delivery on everything at L'Occitane

thesoo · 07/11/2019 12:25

I have also been sent a 25% off Tokyo Laundry code which is single use for today one if anyone wants it?

Dogmatix34 · 07/11/2019 12:34

Thanks recklessgran

TheGirlWhoLived · 07/11/2019 12:42

I’m looking out for two two-wheel scooters suitable for 5.5yo dd and 9yo dd- don’t want expensive but don’t want fall-apart-on-the-first-day ones either. Has anyone had any experience?

BonnesVacances · 07/11/2019 12:44

@ChoccyJules Fluffy/slipper socks are always gratefully received by my DC in that age range. The Joules outlet on eBay has many and you can buy a selection of colours and dish them out.

Lc2006 · 07/11/2019 12:47

@Batbear think it came down by about £50 last black friday

bikinibottommuffintop · 07/11/2019 12:51

@ChoccyJules honestly, as mother to DCs 13-17 age range, they would genuinely be pleased with a £5 voucher for costa or whatever. They get a ton smelly sets socks choc etc as it is.
