Couldn’t resist the title given the chatter about the hampers. Cross fingers they arrive and are fantastic or that refunds are fast and painless.

@Allmyarseandpeggymartin you’re welcome! I feel like I’m obsessed with them. They helped me survive NICU and now they’re my friend during night feeds.

@springlike I recommended Sennheiser earphones. They’re not the cheapest but I find them excellent and well priced for the quality. I have the wireless ones but if you’re not bothered about that there’s cheaper options.

found this at John Lewis & Partners. What do you think? earphones Smile

Can anyone give any experience/recommendations for these monkey maths balance games please?

Considering one for my soon to be 5 year old but there are ate loads of sellers ranging in price from bc £8-£17. Not sure if the price reflects the quality as they all look the same. Also wondering if it's just a rubbish gimmick that won't help her with math.

myfavouriterain · 09/11/2019 19:22

A note of cashiering I ordered the Dobby socks in August, they just arrived yesterday Grin

myfavouriterain · 09/11/2019 19:23

Caution Angry

TwistedAnkle · 09/11/2019 19:24

Ohmygod I signed up for their subscription which really reduces the costs. I'll cancel it after I get my order

Nordicwannabe · 09/11/2019 19:29

There are some Enchantimals reduced to £6 on Amazon. DD loves hers, and this is a great price - they are usually £8-£10.

The mouse one is on sale @margaritasbythesea!

Sorry to keep going on about the ice cream truck, you've all really tempted me for my 2yr old but I've been trying to buy less plastic. Melissa and Doug do a lovely wooden set in a carry box (also on Argos), so you think that would have the same appeal or is it something in particular about the leapfrog one?

mummymilkfloat · 09/11/2019 19:43

does anyone know is there a way to get a good deal on the happyland advent calendar?
I wasn’t going to get one for 18mo DS but I’m feeling a bit sorry for him as I’ve got a playmobil one for our 4yo.
Or if not the happyland one another toddler suitable one?
Thanks lovely people!

PinkDaydreams · 09/11/2019 19:46

@Tentontessie I was in tk maxx today but didn’t look, I’m so stupid! Thank you Flowers

Nordicwannabe · 09/11/2019 19:46

Ooh, just seen that most of those Enchantimals are also available in Argos for £6, which with the 20% off with TOYS20 takes them down to £4.80. Never seen them that low before.

Waterlemon · 09/11/2019 19:47

Hi, I’ve been lurking but not really had anything to contribute till now.

A pp was asking about dressing gowns. We’ve had quite a few from Here king of cotton

They are very good quality, although DH actually prefers the cheaper terry towering version. he had a velour one but said it was too fluffy/thick. But DF loves his. They also do personalisation.

Waterlemon · 09/11/2019 19:50

Should add that I found the kids sizes quite small at king of cotton

PinkJam · 09/11/2019 20:21

JoJo Maman Bebe have 15% off everything online with code: GIFT19

BrightonBB · 09/11/2019 20:25

‘Think you know it all’ quiz book is still £3 - mine arrived today and will make a great gift Thank you @MeanMrMustardSeed

BunnyBerries · 09/11/2019 20:36

For those who love board games at Christmas... there is a lightning deal at 6.30am for Amazon Prime members on Big Potato's The Chameleon board game. It's usually around £25 (£20 if you're lucky some sites but have to pay delivery). It might not be massively reduced but would be a bargain if it is.

It's supposed to be brilliant, everyone knows the secret word from a selection, except for the person who is the 'chameleon' and the other players say one word in relation to it, even the 'chameleon' (who has to guess and go unnoticed) and you have to deduce who the chameleon is. Probably good for teens upwards I'd say.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 09/11/2019 20:37

@TwistedAnkle - ah that explains it!

I don't want to risk a subscription as I'm bound to forget to cancel it so I'm probably just going to order with my £10 off code

WisestIsShe · 09/11/2019 20:45

Another gruum £10 voucher code.

@UnderTheSleepingBaby I honestly don’t think the wooden ones are as fun BUT it’s big and plastic so I’ve resisted as we don’t have a separate playroom. Two of our friends have it and the kids all love playing with it. I think the best eco option would be to pick one up on marketplace.

livingthegoodlife · 09/11/2019 20:47

Ive given in and ordered the leapfrog ice cream cart for my nearly 5 year old, I think she'll love it even though she's reaching the upper age end. She played with it a lot at a friend's house.

£28, plus random discount of £1.51as I had an old gift voucher card. Plus Quidco and nectar points (bonus 500 points). Not too bad!

OdeToAutumn · 09/11/2019 20:50

@StubbleTurnips you asked a few pages ago about HP games. We have HP cluedo and I found it quite frustrating. Too many rules and pointless added bits. My son is nearly 7 so I think slightly too young for it, but even me and my dad has to keep referring back to the rules.

Sent it with my son when he stayed with grandparents and they said they didn’t play because the set up and rules were just too long winded !

Dangerfloof · 09/11/2019 20:53

Oh I agree with @Waterlemon about www.kingofcotton.com/section.php/85/1/gift_ideas/24c0a154b0cb2bd77bbf497c3ca8dee6

They have lovely robes. If you sign up you get a discount I think 10%
Also other gifts.

HelloSweetlings · 09/11/2019 20:54

Sorry if it's already been mentioned but here's some great deals on Sylvanian Families at argos, this sweet tram toy half price and lots at save 1/3 plus 20%off if you spend over 20
I've been convinced to buy the Leapfrog Ice-cream cart too after much deliberation, thanks for making me buy yet another present when I thought I was done! I wanted to get the M&D one too @UnderTheSleepingBaby but I think that would be more for my benefit than DDs Grin

Do Barbour ever do codes ? DH has seen some boots he wants. They’re on ASOS too so might wait until they next do a 20% off
