Couldn’t resist the title given the chatter about the hampers. Cross fingers they arrive and are fantastic or that refunds are fast and painless.

Inspired by the pheasant success, does anyone know if a remote control mouse? They are dd's favourite animal, and a remote control one is one of only three things on her list. I can't find a nice one though, only ones for cats that are very cheap but also very cheap looking.

StudentHelp · 09/11/2019 16:58

Thanks for the Lidl tip - my friend picked me up a copy. Ideas on lovely things to but for Christmas that will keep? As the voucher has to be used by 14 November. I’ll be getting some Irish cream but not sure what else. Thanks

springlike · 09/11/2019 17:14

I'm after 2 pairs of wireless earphones, earpod type. I've seen a few on Amazon reduced in Lightning deals but not many reviews for them. Can anyone recommend? Definitely not wanting to pay earpod prices though.

www.instantfilms.co.uk/ @StudentHelp I used these guys for film. The parcel took about a week to arrive and the ‘sale’ is perpetual.

CupoTeap · 09/11/2019 17:23

@PaddingtonBearHardStare so cute 😍

StudentHelp · 09/11/2019 17:30

@MulberryPeony

Thank you!

EndlessAutumn · 09/11/2019 17:34

@Snooky17 - when we went to see The Lion King (a few years ago) it was as part of a theatre-and-dinner gift token thing. The kind you’d get from Buy a gift or Red Letter days. Those places often have discounts so could be worth a look. There’s also a “get into London theatre” promotion every year, tickets go on sale in December (not sure what shows are included this year) officiallondontheatre.com/new-year-sale/

margaritasbythesea · 09/11/2019 17:56

Notlongnow1 - It's a good idea but she she wants it to look real. She gets very annoyed tbat people don't seem to find mice cute.

PinkDaydreams · 09/11/2019 17:57

For anyone wanting to buy perfume/aftershave, try John Lewis. They’re price matching, I’ve just bought the new D&G 100ml for £59, it’s £75rrp. That’s in store and online.

WhereTheresAHill · 09/11/2019 18:04

@PaddingtonBearHardStare try using a hair dryer on the stickers for 30 seconds or so before you try and peel off if you haven’t already done them all!

thaegumathteth · 09/11/2019 18:07

@springlike someone recommended TWS earphones

Snooky17 · 09/11/2019 18:08

Thanks for the tips re lion king

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 09/11/2019 18:11

@WhereTheresAHill I will try that! I got bored (I have 8 things with them on) and then had to play present Jenna to hide them all away again Halloween Hmm

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 09/11/2019 18:11

Present jenga. I don't know who Jenna is!!

banskuwansku · 09/11/2019 18:12

@PinkDaydreams I just ordered a parfume for myself. A Xmas present from dh who can't think anything for me. Good prices at John Lewis.

PinkDaydreams · 09/11/2019 18:17

@banskuwansku it’s always good to treat yourself! Glad someone’s made use of the John Lewis tip! I never think to go there for perfume/aftershave.

PinkDaydreams · 09/11/2019 18:18

Does anyone know where to buy Alessi stuff from please at a decent price? I’m after the teabag squeezer spoon thing and the champagne bottle stop.

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 09/11/2019 18:48

@ Dreamingofwalden Thank you for the headphones recommendations Wine

DaisyChops · 09/11/2019 19:07

Evening everyone, I've also had trouble picking stuff up from Argos e-bay, as a pp said they need to enter the code the same as a fast track but the code is EB not FT!
Just to mention, keep checking the stock as I've been after a LOL winter doll and I managed to get one with the 20% so happy with that!
Also Hairdorables are worth a mention, they are half price to £7.50 and with the 20% off that takes them to £6 which is a good price as they box is a good size aswell!

Tentontessie · 09/11/2019 19:17

@PinkDaydreams try TK Maxx- they always have loads of alessi
