Couldn’t resist the title given the chatter about the hampers. Cross fingers they arrive and are fantastic or that refunds are fast and painless.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

You’re probably right, Themazeoflife.
It’s all wrapped and well hidden so no chance of knowing even if they now go on a Giant Xmas Presents Hunt!
As they probably will.

Tamtam86 · 09/11/2019 12:06

Ah how exciting all these babies! I'm also expecting a baby just before Christmas! That's why these threads have been sooooo useful in getting ready for Christmas way earlier than I usually would!

Jacopone · 09/11/2019 12:09

@caslamityjane thank you
No, don’t know this one, but looks great! There are a couple of versions and extensions. Should I get the first one? And extension too?

EvilHerbivore · 09/11/2019 12:12

@BigmouseLittlehouse have a look on Baker Ross

flooredbored · 09/11/2019 12:15

Anyone else had issues with their argos ebay items? I ordered 5 items and paid. Went to collect and was told there was only 1 item on the order number to collect. All are still shown as paid on ebay, checked paypal and had no refunds. I am fuming!

Gustavo1 · 09/11/2019 12:18

@Spam88, @Tamtam86
Fingers crossed these thread babies don’t keep us waiting too long. 36 weeks and very fed up. It’s baby number 4 for me so I’m hoping for an early arrival 🤞🏻🤞🏻

AbagailsFancy · 09/11/2019 12:20

@wibdib, fab games recommendations - look perfect for nephews, thank you 💐

andi76 · 09/11/2019 12:23

@BigmouseLittlehouse - I bought these last week & it's a very impressive packet for £1 (planning to let the elves leave them one weekend). Don't think these will be waht you have already seen though

BigmouseLittlehouse · 09/11/2019 12:38

girlsyearapart · 09/11/2019 12:38

Highly scientific

andi76 · 09/11/2019 12:42

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 09/11/2019 12:44

@margaritasbythesea sorry!! I guess I did mention him in a roundabout way as in I have x week old DS to buy for. Just for you, here is a picture of him looking highly unimpressed with his big brother!!

CocoKoko123 · 09/11/2019 12:46

paddington so cute! Doesn't help my broodiness at the moment!

caslammityjane · 09/11/2019 12:46

Jacopone Start with just the main game - you can pick up an extension pack in the new year as it might fall into a sale! See how your family likes it first!

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 09/11/2019 12:51

@CocoKoko123 does this help?! Halloween HmmHalloween Grin

@SilverLinings2014 thanks so much for the thirst quencher tip. My youngest DS watches other kids using this on YouTube all the time and I had no idea it was a Melissa and Doug toy. He will love this!

Jacopone · 09/11/2019 12:56

@caslamityjane
I’ll get just the game. Exactly what I had in mind. Big thanks!
Paddington - baby is adorable. Plp and sweet. !!

Jacopone · 09/11/2019 12:57

Plump and sweet!

mamabluestar · 09/11/2019 12:59

@Lc2006 how would you rate Kano Harry Potter wand? I'm thinking about getting my daughter one, but considering that she hasn't asked for one/doesn't know they exist it would be an expensive gift if they aren't amazing. Thank you

mogtheexcellent · 09/11/2019 13:03

Just to say lottie dolls are appearing on amazon lightning deals each day. Theres 25% off a couple of the newer ones but the brownie doll is 8.50 atm. Hoping others are reduced over the next few days.

BouquetOfRoses · 09/11/2019 13:18

@recklessgran try B & M, the Range, supermarkets as they all usually do candle plates all year round with even more choics in metallic covers over Christmas. Usually decent quality and will be much cheaper

CocoKoko123 · 09/11/2019 13:19

paddington that photo should put me off and remind me of when my dc were little but it really doesn't!so cute!

Jammiebammie · 09/11/2019 13:23

Aww @PaddingtonBearHardStare he’s adorable! Even his little gummy cry 🥰
Can’t wait for the other thread babies too (broody, me??)

@Restlessinthenorth sorry for replying late but the instax camera, some were down to £69 at urban outfitters - then 25% off with a student code. I still haven’t bought as I need to stop buying for dd3 and start thinking of ideas for dd1&2.
Dd1 has unidays so could send you a code?

Jammiebammie · 09/11/2019 13:26

Sorry, £65 the instax were reduced to and the 25% off takes them to £48.75 (my maths brain isn’t on today!)

FallenSky · 09/11/2019 13:27

@flooredbored I picked up my eBay items this morning from Argos and had lots of trouble finding them. In the end it turned out they'd put the code in the wrong part of their system (?) And it was meant to be put through as a fast track number not an eBay one. I don't really understand what actually happened but I was there for nearly 20 minutes while they figured it out. I'm not sure if yours is the same issue though as it sounds like they found one item with the code you gave. Does your confirmation email have the items you ordered listed? Mine does.
