Couldn’t resist the title given the chatter about the hampers. Cross fingers they arrive and are fantastic or that refunds are fast and painless.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

justonedayatatime11 we have that telly (but in a bigger screen size as DH ordered it not me!) and we have no complaints.

BonnesVacances · 08/11/2019 09:49

Following on from the post about free delivery at Debenhams, the 3 for 2 offer seems genuine. There are a few things I've looked at which are priced the same as elsewhere. In particular, the Santa Banter game which is £10 everywhere and is a great stocking filler and/or family game to play over Christmas. If you got 3, it would bring the price down to £7 each.

Lc2006 · 08/11/2019 09:49

@Elpheba
this is half price anyway and if you use promo code TOYS20 comes to £22

there's this would be £32 with the code
this one
this one
this and this come to £20 if ordered together with the code

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 08/11/2019 09:59

recklessgran · 08/11/2019 09:59

@ArabellaPilkington I'll pm you a code in a sec. Valid until Sunday 10th. Anybody else wanting UO codes I'm out now until this evening so won't be able to help you until tonight.Just drop me a pm in the meantime and I'll sort it all out later.

recklessgran · 08/11/2019 10:06

@Fuckingfucksake Peoples Friend is alright but a bit old fashioned, Yours is better in my opinion or if the person is very "cerebral" The Oldie is good - a bit like Private Eye for the elderly.

Gardenworm · 08/11/2019 10:12

Hype Outlet for next 20hrs apparently...

I've just bought DM some ( not particularly bargainous) tickets for Kew the Music. One of her favourite artists is performing and I've always wanted to go to Kew so I'll take her 😂
But could be an idea for any tricky to buy for people

Can anyone recommend an electric essential oil diffuser? And blends too use with it. Nothing too £££ if possible!

CosmicVagina · 08/11/2019 10:43

I posted at the end of the last thread about checking your emails from The Spicery for a £5.00 code as it let me enter it twice so I have got 16 sachets of One Pot Wonder spices for £15.45 delivered. They have just arrived, I'm really pleased

it was me that wanted the body shop code but that one does not work even though I'm a club member? I don't know if its the products I'm wanting to buy (for DD) that's the problem?

Can I have an OU code too please?

Tigger83 · 08/11/2019 11:05

Does anyone have a spicery code I could use?

Carrie76 · 08/11/2019 11:07

My dd who will be 5 in January is asking Santa for the leapfrog ice cream cart. I’m doing my best to talk her out of it as I think she’s too old for it. Does anyone have one and can advise on it? She’s quite small height wise for her age but I think it’ll be teeny beside her. Any thoughts?

dancemom · 08/11/2019 11:11

Thanks @RJnomore1 for the palette tip, ordered for dd and hoping it arrives in time!

Gustavo1 · 08/11/2019 11:12

m.prestigehampers.co.uk/hampers

Anyone who missed or cancelled the highland hampers, Prestige hampers have 10% off with code

I’ve not used the hampers so can’t vpuvh for their contents but have used the prestige flowers site and always been happy with them.

As an aside, prestige flowers also offer a postage subscription which can be handy if you want to send a couple of bouquets at Christmas time.

Shitfuckoh · 08/11/2019 11:18

@Carrie76 My sons best friend has it. He turned 5 in August and he still loves playing with it. He serves up ice cream to everyone etc.
Amazon have it for £28 - Tempted to get one for my youngest but no idea where I'm going to put half the gifts I've bought already!

Shitfuckoh · 08/11/2019 11:19

Okay Amazon don't have it at that price anymore. But with the Argos code it would work out to be £28

noodledoodler · 08/11/2019 11:19

Hi @Tigger83 if you DM me I can send you one 😀

Fuckingfuckssake · 08/11/2019 11:21

@recklessgran thank you, old fashioned may be the best bet in this case, I might just get a trial subscription and see how she likes it.

RaggieDolls · 08/11/2019 11:22

You can get a free filled cracker from L'Occitane when you spend £15 and use code 'SURPRISE'

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 08/11/2019 11:24

@Christmascookiesmmmm Try one from B&M.
Last year I was helping my mum put her tree up and we had endless issues with her stand as the tree had a wonky stump and bit of branches sticking out. In desperation, I went to B&M and got this stand and it was brilliant! Literally just slotted the tree in and it was standing straight first time. And it has the saucer for water, which is very important as a PP said.
The whole family ended up buying these stands as we were so impressed! I am really looking forward to using mine this year Grin
