Yes! It was £6 in Sainsbury's. I might even have it up all year round Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 23/11/2019 19:01

That's very cute, Wreck!

Crazy, it wasn't cold at all at the allotment, thankfully. Wheeling 12 barrows of wood chippings helped (they were about 400 yards from me!). Somebody also made me a cuppa which was lovely!

I'm on pre-Christmas clean / sort tomorrow. Exciting (not!).

Oh yes I saw that flouncy. Now where for it to go though. They had lots of nice bits. My friend has this neon tree and it looks amazing when it's on

Flouncy, I did a bigger area than I would've done if I'd bought them. They were free to the person who got them as another plot holder had their front garden sorted and the tree surgeon then brought the chippings to us! Good stuff!

It smelled amazing too. Like Christmas!

Morning!

DH woke me at 6. I'm unimpressed as I can never get back off at that time of day, even when I've not had enough sleep (which I haven't). Xmas Angry I know he can't help his bladder, but as a light sleeper it's very irritating.

The kids are off to the in-laws' today so we can clean and tidy in peace. DH did a second coat of paint on a cupboard yesterday, so only has the radiator cover and rad itself to do today. Then I'll get him sorting / tidying.

Luckily there's not much aching from yesterday's workout!

I'm going to be grumpy though! 😂

I made mince pies and rocky road to freeze yesterday. I'm slowly getting to where I need to be!

Morning!
I've been awake since 6 because the dogs heard next door coming home from her night shift and started howling Angry
I've been back in bed for an hour, am determined to get back to sleep- I've just put ear plugs in. DH has slept through it all obviously 🙄

We absolutely blitzed this house yesterday so there's very little that needs doing today (we even pulled out the furniture and deep cleaned the living room ready for decs). Instead today will be paperwork, meal planning and crafting.

Now fingers crossed for another hour of sleep 🤞🏼😴

Sorry I've been away for a while folks. We've all been struck down with different things. It started with norovirus on Sunday, then DS took a sinus infection, dd tonsillitis and now a bad cold, and I've got a chest infection.

This is due to my boasting last week. It's come back to bite me.

I hope everyone is doing well.

This day next month is Christmas Eve!

Wreck I missed your star pic, it's lovely ⭐️

Congratulations Hairspray

Welcome back Neros, sorry you're feeling ill.

I didn't get back to sleep this morning 🙄 and because I said we had blitzed the house we of course had a mini disaster - I washed a bean bag I've washed a million times before and it burst in the washing machine. Polystyrene balls absolutely everywhere Angry

On the plus side, I've practically finished my crochet cushion - just need to stuff and close it - I've posted pics but it's on the arm of my sofa so looks wonky..

Evening everyone Smile
l have been missing in action due to spending a lot of time over the hospital with Mum , she isn't at all well. The staff are marvelous to her and the consultant is coming in tomorrow. I am really worried about her.

HairsprayBabe · 24/11/2019 22:19

Here is a wedding photo for anyone interested

Very surprised to be pregnant, forgot my overnight bag on our wedding night and missed a pill - didn't think to get the MAP and when we found out we were thrilled had planned to TTC after Christmas anyway!

HairsprayBabe · 24/11/2019 22:20

Oh it didn't attach

Bless you MrsMad. She is in the best place but that won't stop you worrying about her - hopefully they can get her back on her feet soon.

Lovely photo Hairspray and congratulations about the baby.

Morning!

It's continuing dank and damp here. Grim. We'll have to use the tumble dryer this week!

Mrs, I'm sorry about your mum. Flowers Are they struggling to contain the infection? She is in the right place, bless her.

Hairspray, what a lovely surprise! Everyone will think baby was a planned honeymoon baby! I love the photo.

The Snowman cross stitch 1 is well under way. I'm doing all of the sky, then getting into the colours. It shouldn't take much more than a week though, hopefully!

Neros, sorry to hear you've been unwell. I hope you're getting it all out of the way for Christmas!
