What have you purchased today for Christmas?

Now that we're well on the way to Christmas I thought we could share what we've purchased in preparation for the big day!

I love writing down what I've bought to keep my mind organized and I also reading what everyone else has bought too for ideas and inspiration.

Today I've bought
Festive cutlery holders
Kids festive pyjamas
Personalised cheese board for my step dad
80 Xmas cards for the kids to give to their class mates
And I also found a festive decorated pouch of dog treats for our dog (doesn't go out of date until Feb 2020 either 😊)in my local supermarket this morning!

Today I bought a (hideous, but she'll love it) unicorn onesie from Sainsbury's and the book Madeleine's Christmas for my DD's Christmas Eve Box.

Today i brought:

I also purchased a christmas duvet set for me and dp (my mum brought the kids glow in the dark christmas duvets) i am super excited to give them to the kids on 1st Dec!

I managed to find some toys for ds2 that my brother can buy for him to so thats him done from them, one less to worry about lol

Yesterday I bought a secondhand christmas jumper for me, it looks new £5.
Today I bought 3 christmas jumpers, also secondhand but look new, for DD, £4 for all three

A sheet of gold glittery felt. Slightly random but ds2 doesn't like our angel on top of our christmas tree and wants a star on top instead but I can't find one I like enough so am going to make it instead

3 pairs of socks - one pair say 'I like big plants and I cannot lie' about to collect two bottles of Arianna Grande Thank u, next perfume for my teen daughters

DD has been asking forever for this but I refused to pay £30 for it! Gave in today as it's half price in the Argos toy sale 👍🏼

Gravitrax for DS arrived today. The starter kit was £33 on Amazon when I ordered and £40 everywhere else so glad I got it.

Some Disney Christmas baubles from Primark and a unicorn onesie for DN10. Also bought a Stitch from LILO and Stitch hot water bottle and cover but have given that to DD3 already 🤷‍♀️. Need to collect items from Argos tomorrow whilst DD is at school and hide them somewhere.

Yesterday I bought the rose in a glass from Beauty and the Beast light for DD3 and a princess flannel and unicorn bath plug for DD3 stocking. Will get bath bombs nearer the time, possibly from Lush but B&M had some good cheap multipacks of sparkly and glittery ones.

Another Hotel chocolate velvitizer for SIL and her partner. I bought my mum one last Christmas and one for our house too. They've been most used presents from last year, I'm so glad it's hot chocolate season again. Also pretty good with baileys.

We went into B&M today, which we don't visit often.

I picked up:

Paw patrol car mat (huge) with Marshall and his fire engine (they also had chase) for £17
Scuttle bug bee (£20, going rate I think)
Stocking fillers of paw patrol colouring in sheets and pens, baby shark plug which changes colour for bath time and a Halloween cup which doesn't actually mention Halloween for my creepy son that loves anything "spooky"

I have also bought 3 x Terry's chocolate oranges from Tesco at 75p for Christmas hampers etc. Or I will just eat them, whatever

Today I've ordered gifts for two nephews which will be delivered direct to their parents by the end of the week. I'm sure SIL thinks I'm nuts buying this early but to be fair DH and I have 11 nieces and nephews between us. The more organised I am the better the gifts DNs get !

I've also bought a really cute brush set and palette from Revolution in Superdrug for dds stocking which she'll be chuffed with. (She's only 10 so they're the very bright colours more akin to face painting than "makeup" as such)

DH has bought a GAA football and boots for ds8 which I need to remind him to take out of the boot and hide with the rest of the swag.

I love Christmas prep and being organised . Dd1 has said can you still do me a stocking and Christmas Eve box ( she's early 20s )

And I'm just thinking about buying the 13 storey treehouse books for dd. Shes read them all so I'm a bit reluctant, but she has said shes putting them on her xmas list.

My Christmas shopping is under way! Mainly stocking fillers that I’ve bought so far but plans in place for other main pressies! I’ve bought...
For DS (11) - alarm clock, novelty gaming socks, little book on hand shadows, book (Time travelling with a hamster)
For DD (7) - personalised gymnastics shorts, set of cake decorating nozzles, bath bomb dust, ‘Daisy and the trouble with...’ book
For DD (18 months) - mini Peppa pig books, squeezy bath toys, chunky crayons.

My problem now is that I’m very nearly at the budget limit for DD1’s stocking and still a few more bits to buy! I need to find someuper cheap things!
