Now that we're well on the way to Christmas I thought we could share what we've purchased in preparation for the big day!

I love writing down what I've bought to keep my mind organized and I also reading what everyone else has bought too for ideas and inspiration.

Today I've bought
Festive cutlery holders
Kids festive pyjamas
Personalised cheese board for my step dad
80 Xmas cards for the kids to give to their class mates
And I also found a festive decorated pouch of dog treats for our dog (doesn't go out of date until Feb 2020 either 😊)in my local supermarket this morning!

I've got Hey Duggee PJ's for DH and DS1 from Character.com who had 20% off - I also got PJ masks socks so the postage was free.

I've got a Fisher Price remote control in my Amazon basket for DS2 as it's half price compared to Asda where I'd seen it first.

And I'm doing battle with Lego for a free Advent calendar as DS is allergic to dairy I thought he'd appreciate that, and it should be free.

I bought this. I could not resist it as it’s so cute!

Buddyelf · 03/10/2019 09:08

@Tobebythesea I have one like that and an Elf one. Mine aren't as nice as that one though, they are felt pieces and I got for a couple of pound at the works.

Tobebythesea · 03/10/2019 10:53

@Buddyelf - They do an elf one too! Wink
It is pricey but I’m hoping to use it for years to come.

edgen2019 · 03/10/2019 18:33

Going to buy the Good Housekeeping Christmas Special tomorrow after spotting it today!

Hadenoughofitall441 · 03/10/2019 22:28

Today had a mini little shopping spree online of course. Purchased a disco light, bubble machine, lego boat (new hidden treasures one) for DS 11 he has autism and loves the whole Dj and light set up. I got a shoppie shopkins doll for dd7 and also purchased a Dj party cube for DS birthday which is 11 days after Xmas. Also got the pjs for Christmas Eve boxes.

Cwoffee · 03/10/2019 23:29

I've just bought 20 Christmas story books so that I can do a story book advent calendar this year for my dd and ds (will add 4 extra from our existing Christmas books selection).

Bought kids matching Christmas pjs. I've never done the Christmas pj thing before but I've got a feeling that this may be the last year my dd believes in Father Christmas so I want to make it extra lovely for her.

theboywonteat · 04/10/2019 00:45

I’ve bought a panda bedding set for dd(4) - and a Harry Potter set for ds(9). Plus some silly fart sound machines for their Christmas stockings - which are gross but they will find hilarious Grin.

Can’t sleep with the heavy rain so online shopping instead & just ordered the new Frozen 2 Elsa costume for dd. Her birthday is next month so not sure yet whether that’ll be for birthday or Christmas. Find it hard to plan for Christmas til that’s out of the way!

NoWordForFluffy · 04/10/2019 05:43

Ooh. The GH magazine is out?! Finally! I'll go and get it on my way past Tesco later on. Xmas Grin

Crochetcrochetcrochet · 04/10/2019 08:27

Yesterday I got DS1 his Christmas jumper and DS2 a Fisher Price remote control that will hopefully distract him from ours! Half price in Asda too.

EntropyRising · 04/10/2019 09:13

I just made my very first purchase: 30 Christmas Kleenex Cubes.

.79 clearance at Hi House. Couldn't believe my luck.

mummymayhem18 · 04/10/2019 11:26

I got the Good Housekeeping Christmas collection magazine. Some Christmas cards and wrapping paper from Card Factory. Some Stollen slices from M & S 😋.

everythingisginandroses · 04/10/2019 13:35

All remaining cards bought from Oxfam. Christmas stock now creeping into Aldi, so bought 2 x nougat sticks and maple & seasalt fudge with weekly shop. Star
