Now that we're well on the way to Christmas I thought we could share what we've purchased in preparation for the big day!

I love writing down what I've bought to keep my mind organized and I also reading what everyone else has bought too for ideas and inspiration.

Today I've bought
Festive cutlery holders
Kids festive pyjamas
Personalised cheese board for my step dad
80 Xmas cards for the kids to give to their class mates
And I also found a festive decorated pouch of dog treats for our dog (doesn't go out of date until Feb 2020 either 😊)in my local supermarket this morning!

Our first Christmas in our first home! Went to Homesense today and bought a small artificial potted tree that can go on our landing or entrance hall, some baubles and a silver reindeer statue. Oh and a Christmas onesie for the dog Blush

danni0509 · 25/09/2019 17:17

Today. Box of kids Xmas cards for ds' class.

Yesterday few bits for ds xmas eve box. Tube of milky buttons, haribo Xmas tree jellies. Oh and ordered some reindeer food from eBay.

Tonight. I'm ordering 10 books for £10 from the works, such a good deal. I get it every year! So many different bundles, will take me all night to pick.

I got my 4 yo DS a 900 piece set of classic Lego today from ASDA for £18. Very pleased as he’s just starting to really get into it.

livingthegoodlife · 25/09/2019 19:17

I bought that Lego set last year - it's great.

Today I bought a dark chocolate orange for DH stocking. Hovering over ordering Sylvanian families tram for Sylvanian mad DD... I think it's a good price in Argos sale.

One2Three4Five6 · 25/09/2019 20:37

Books, books and more books (Pretty much all my DD has asked for this year)
Few bits for the kids, but that's my kids bought for for Xmas now.
Just a few more bits for DH which will be bought next payday.
This leaves me 2x pay days to get for extended family, plus any last minute bits the kids may ask for nearer the time.
Also picked up some bits for our Xmas 1st box (no negative comments please, I like it, if you don't it's fine, but I don't need to be disparaged for my choices) Mugs etc :)
A couple of stocking filler bits too

babysnowman · 25/09/2019 22:08

A Christmas Eve box and Advent calendar stocking garland. DD is only 5 months so I know it's ridiculous but I want to start traditions!

niceredjumper · 25/09/2019 22:11
