The aim of this thread is to share ideas for Christmas bargains and present ideas and a little bit of Christmas chat etc. I’ll try my best to do a post with the most popular links, if there’s anything specific you’d like me to add or if something I’ve put up doesn’t work please let me know in bold . As usual no affiliate links (I’m still not exactly sure what they are but consensus was not to have them) and if we have any sites to post personal sign up links we’ll do this on a separate thread so all can post their links, I’ll do this when —I get around to it— soon.

My haul included two sets of double ended markers plus some wee colour in canvasses- for dd(10) and my niece of the same age.
Christmas stamps and ink pad as we will make our own cards this year!
Four photo boxes so I can sort some old photos out per child.
Ribbon as I’ve bought cheap xmassy fat quarters to wrap family gifts in eco style.
Some pads of paper.
Thin black fine liners for me for uni.
Ummmmm... what else? This is what I get for shopping at 2am- I cant remember what else I’ve got!!!
Oh yeah some wee baubles with mini stamps of each letter of the alphabet in them. And... erm...

I’ve caved and ordered an LOL Glamper even though they are a massive con and full of tat 😭 DD will absolutely love it. This may already have been mentioned but when I went to buy it on amazon it had £10 promotional credit against it, so once I got to checkout it was £89.99 instead of £99.99.

@LikeSilver i mentioned the £10 off the glamper on amazon, be warned though it comes with no outer box at all so it’s very obvious what it is.

Anyone with a studio account, they have an offer on children’s personalised dressing gowns, 2 for £12. Also some Christmas items on there, wrapping, pjs, cards etc.

Amazon has the Playmobil 9486 Advent Calendar - Construction Site Fire Rescue with Pullback Motor on pre sale (released tomorrow) for £14.90 instead of £20. Not sure if this is comparable to other deals that usually cone up?

Smith's Toys have a fair amount in their £10 and below section: First Toolbox £8, this gorgeous teddy bear £8, train set £8.

Hi all, I am back with a brand new username - long time poster on these threads though. I see we have already had the affiliate link showdown..... just need someone to get arsey over a cookie jar now My local House of Fraser had beauty advent calendars reduced to £3 in store today, looked really good actually, seemed mostly technic makeup, accessories etc.

While in Waitrose this evening I saw a small Nerf gun for £1.75

Has anyone seen any Dora the explorer toys? My 3 year old is currently obsessed with Dora (old school!) but most toy shops have stopped stocking and EBay sellers/ amazon have massively hiked the prices of the stock they have (obviously knowing some desperate parents will pay it !)

I’m looking for any suggestions or bargains for my 3 year old. She’s keen on cry babies, a cot for her dolls and scoop and learn ice cream truck.

If anyone has these and can recommend them?

@Worrywart21 SIL got this cot for dns birthday recently and it seems to be good quality (dn is a bit heavy handed!). There's also a bunk bed version.

@Worrywart21 DD has played with the scoop and learn ice cream truck and really enjoyed it. If we had space then I would look to get one for her. They come up on FB Marketplace quite regularly, so worth keeping an eye to save money/plastic!

Dealz (I’m in Ireland so presuming it will be similar in Poundland) have a selection of lego comic style books with a mini figure for €4. I saw the same ones in Golden Discs for €7. Of the top of my head I think I saw Ninjago, Harry Potter, Lego Movie, Batman and maybe Star Wars.

They also have flego sticky tape and small flego base plates in their regular toy section

@PinkDaydreams I always check usc for ck underwear here as they always have good prices. Some of the men’s ck boxer packs are half price now. They have small savings on boss ones too but not as good as the Calvin Klein. I always get dds undies from here.

Bawbags sale - super funky underwear on sale here for teens/men/women at less than half price!

They are excellent quality and have some milder designs in amongst the hilarious ones :o
