The aim of this thread is to share ideas for Christmas bargains and present ideas and a little bit of Christmas chat etc. I’ll try my best to do a post with the most popular links, if there’s anything specific you’d like me to add or if something I’ve put up doesn’t work please let me know in bold . As usual no affiliate links (I’m still not exactly sure what they are but consensus was not to have them) and if we have any sites to post personal sign up links we’ll do this on a separate thread so all can post their links, I’ll do this when —I get around to it— soon.

@LikeSilver do they have a wooden set? The link is to a plastic one. Whilst lovely, I’m trying to avoid plastic where I can whilst mine are so small and not specifically asking for anything.

Sorry @S0mewhere0verTheRainb0w, I thought it was wooden at first glance. I know Lidl did a wooden fast food set last year but it sold out very quickly.

@DarkHumour my ds is 4. I just bought it anyway as it was so cheap I didn't even check the sizing! I'm more than happy to report back when it arrives!

@LikeSilver ah never mind, thank you. Lidl and ALDI both usually have some lovely wooden things before Christmas but you have to be quick

For tiny food for Sylvanian Families, I buy from Handmaidenreplicas2016 on eBay. This listing is for 10 tiny potatoes, but she also sells miniature cola bottles, pringles, pizzas, cheeseboards, wine... as well as almost every basic food! You could stock a larder as a stocking filler especially as most listings are about £2.

I saw beauty crackers and other Xmas makeup 70% off in Debenhams. Also John Lewis has last years xmas cards, paper, crackers and decorations 70% off. Not a huge stock but I managed get some cards and paper.

Word of warning if anyone orders the Lol Glamper from amazon, it didn’t come in an outer box at all. Dh said the delivery man was at the door with a big smile holding the most obvious box ever! So, so glad dd wasn’t here..

Oh, and although Matalans Christmas shop isn’t officially open for another week, they’ve got a few pages of items to preview here There’s a rocket advent that looks adorable (although I have no use for it) and the alphabet stockings this year are plush and a mix of colours, they’re gorgeous although I’m slightly miffed as I’d planned to buy them this year but dd3 is petrified of fur (sen) - so back to the drawing board for me!
