Jingle those bells because it’s time for thread 1!

The aim of this thread is to share ideas for Christmas bargains and present ideas and a little bit of Christmas chat etc. I’ll try my best to do a post with the most popular links, if there’s anything specific you’d like me to add or if something I’ve put up doesn’t work please let me know in bold . Thank you

As usual no affiliate links (I’m still not exactly sure what they are but consensus was not to have them) and if we have any sites to post personal sign up links we’ll do this on a separate thread so all can post their links, I’ll do this when —I get around to it— soon.

Don't know if these have been posted yet but QVC do some great beauty boxes for £20 with no P&P. They're called TILI- Tried it Loved it

The products inside are fantastic- you get some full sizes and some good travel sizes. The could easily be split into more than one present, plus the box they come in is of a high quality.

@margaritasbythesea, Hamleys might be worth a look. I checked their website and they are showing quite a few different types of Transformer so hopefully they will also have them in the store.

@margaritasbythesea I think there is only The Entertainer at Westfield likely to sell them. However, they generally do a 4 hour click and collect so you could order online now? Unless DS wants the whole browse in store experience Smile in which case maybe give they'll a call and check what's in stock.
Otherwise, check stock at a Smyths near where you are?

@BanoffeePieIsMyFave If Smyths do their sale this year it might be a good bet. They usually offer either 20% off or £10 off £50

But you can’t buy it online. You have to physically be in the store.

Not really a bargain but I had an email from Dobbies garden centre, priority booking for Autumn/winter events open today. We did breakfast with santa last year, it 2as quite good.

My local Tesco had some good deals on crayola products this week. I got my daughter a pack of 12 twistable colouring pencils for £2 to put in her stocking. Cheaper than amazon and eBay

Transformers are a mission to get hold of - my DS loves them and we have the same issue. The Entertainer in Westfield will face soon. John Lewis might also have some, Debenhams is sometimes a good bet. Hamleys will have them but they are usually over-priced. Smiths are generally the best priced but there aren't any in Central London.

I’ve just bought the lol glamour for dd from amazon, they have a £10 voucher on it just now taking it down to £89.99. You could potentially get another £6 off it as amazon still have the deal where you can get a £6 credit when you buy £50 of gift vouchers from them, I wasn’t eligible as I’ve bought vouchers previously, but seems like a good deal if you’re going to buy something for more than £50 anyway.
Now how do I hide this from dh, eek.
