The aim of this thread is to share ideas for Christmas bargains and present ideas and a little bit of Christmas chat etc. I’ll try my best to do a post with the most popular links, if there’s anything specific you’d like me to add or if something I’ve put up doesn’t work please let me know in bold . @Reastie in addition to all the other suggestions to bring the price down would a kind aunt or someone buy it instead of a Christmas present? We found they get so much on the day they don’t miss 1 present but get so much happiness over the month opening the calendar. Just a thought.

Thanks for the Sass & Belle tip :) bought a few bits, mostly just things for my DD, not actually for Christmas thought these two look like quite nice gifts.

I saw the Vtech Challenger Laptop is on sale on Amazon, does anybody know of it and if its recommendable?

@Luxplus - they may have changed but my DS got one when he was 4 and enjoyed it for role play but they games were a bit "old" for him and by the time he understood them fully (about 6/7) he wasn't interested in a toy laptop!

He's never had great concentration skills though and he has ASD so if it doesn't interest him he just doesn't focus so it may well be great for others.

There was quite a mix of numeric, musical and linguistic activities on there plus a few strategic games.

@Luxplus have you checked camelcamelcamel to see its price history? That can sometimes help to sway a decision as it gives you some insight into how good a deal it is.

Have a look on studio for advent calendars. For any one crafty enough the works have ones you can make yourself and so much off a 30quid spend this weekend.

I put the lego friends boat into my basket but didnt checkout as wasnt sure if my DD really wanted it. Today she has said she is asking santa for it as seen it on YouTube, aaarrrgggghhhh if anyone sees it at £40 again could you message me please, I cant believe I missed it!
