Filthy, I'm going to mooch round all the magazine sellers in L1 tomorrow lunchtime to see what I can find. I'm sure a few were out by now last year (as some of us got a different one when we couldn't find it). They're ALL slacking!

I've asked someone who works at WHSmith when their Christmas mags are due in. They think some may be in already but they are going to check tomorrow for me.

Took Mum out for lunch today and got her some green braid for her to put on the stool she is upholstering , well trying to but she enjoys it and it makes her happy, there was a time it would have been done in a flash by her , age is not kind

The blue sky is peeping through, so it looks like another nice day may be on the way! Still windy though!

I'm trying to get plenty of sleep this week. I failed last week and was grumpy! 😂

I do want to try to get my robin cross stitch done if possible, but I think realistically, that'll take another couple of weeks to do. It's faffy towards the end!

Gorgeous blue skies today but definitely a morning chill. Should have finished my second cross stitch decorations by the end of this week.

Bloody new filling l had last Thursday fell out and l now have to have a bloody crown 🙄. I don't like the dentist at the best if times but a bloody crown groan
Have also been to the hospital for a check up on my bent finger , no treatment needed again 😁

Went to Cwmbran omg they have Christmas duvet covers in Matalan and l think l am going to have to buy at least 2 new ones 😁
Mum went out for lunch to the copper kettle in llanvetherine and spotted a stone fairy for £60 , she wants to put it on Dad's grave😬 l didn't like to tell her Dad would have hated a fairy 🧚‍♂️🧚‍♀️🧚who cares so long as she likes it😁

I love looking at Matalan Christmas! I went to the dentist today too luckily I don't need anything. I had a route canal once and, despite my fear, it wasn't that bad.

Just popping in quickly while I have signal. We're currently in Alaska - between Homer and Anchorage and there are vast gaps between signal here!

I have to tell you all because I'm so excited, we've seen bears and whales on this trip. Things I never thought I'd ever get to see, it's amazing but I am knackered and really annoyed I couldn't fit anything crafty in my suitcase as there's a fair bit of travelling.

The mornings are definitely much darker than they were. Autumn is on the way!!

What with the first Strictly show being filmed on Monday and GBBO starting on Tuesday, it's feeling autumnal all the way!

Boo to no magazines, they are definitely behind this year. I am absolutely knackered (half marathon training and spent the day yesterday cleaning out my late grandfathers house) so was hoping for a long hot bath and Christmas read!

We have already started on the Christmas films here at Chez Filthy. My DS2 is turning out just like his mama, constantly asking to watch them or read Christmas books!

Got the day off so think I will make a start on this calendar,any tips for the creatively challenged?!
