New month coincides with the need for a new thread!

The last one kept us going for over 2 months, so let's see how we do this time!

Good afternoon everyone. We’ve just got back from play group and I’m making our lunch now. We’re having noodles 🍝. Jack will be off for his nap after that so will get cracking on the dinner, my friends are coming over today for tea...even though they’re here most days. The weather is miserable again, looks like it will be raining soon.

Fluffy I hope you’ve managed to wake upGrin I love the smell of garlic and onion, it’s very earthy. I’d love to grow our own but we don’t have a garden😡

Mrs I’m glad your DD is enjoying her job. It’s always good to have a job you enjoy.

NoWordForFluffy · 18/06/2019 17:59

Sounds like a brilliant job for your DD there, Mrs. Especially at her age!

The garlic has stopped smelling so pungent now it's almost dried and I'm guessing the onions will too (though they aren't as strong as garlic!).

I'm hoping to finish Snowdog tonight. Then I'll start on the other one. The frames are on their way from Hobbycraft, so they can be framed and put away once they're done!

Fluffy, she came home tonight and said she absolutely loves it there. They have Sky sports on all the time , the radio on , she is in an office with about 5 others, she has got in the swing of it straight away. She is in seventh heaven bless her Grin
Hope you managed to finish Snowdog tonight, glad your onions are drying Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 19/06/2019 06:57

Ah, it sounds amazing, Mrs! I'm envious! 😂

Morning!

I didn't finish Snowdog yet, but I'm onto the outline! I was too tired to concentrate on it last night, but it'll be done this week!

We need to chop and freeze a load of the onions at some point. But it's a busy weekend for DD's birthday, so I may have to delegate to DH! 😂

It rained again overnight, but is brightening up now. Hopefully it'll be a good day. ☀️

So glad she is enjoying it Mrs :)

9 days until my payday when I can start Christmas shopping and get that gorgeous cross stitch. Can't believe it has almost been a year since I started my cross stitch decorations last year. Time goes so fast.

Jacksmadre · 19/06/2019 10:33

Morning everyone!!.

We’re getting ready to go to baby yoga, we’ve just had fried eggs and spinach for breakfast 🍳 . The weathers picking up slightly down by us..there’s some sun creeping through the clouds but it’s meant to rain at twelve so we’ll bring our macs☔️. My DH should be finishing work early today..around 4.30..so we might have a drink and some pudding at the local if we get time.

Mrs your DD’s job sounds super!

Fluffy do you have any more cross stitches planned to do? Your snowdog is gorgeous I can’t wait to see the finished piece. Jack’s birthday is next friday so we’re getting plans for that, we’re thinking a get together with nearest and dearest at ours rather than a big party.

Emrys we’ll get our decorations down soon and have a check through to make sure nothing has broken. I’m buzzing!

Mrsmadevans · 19/06/2019 11:23

Morning 🌞
Not that it is sunny here 🤗
Fluffy 😊 get DH on the task in hand 😆😋
Emrys l know you can't wait to get presents, l am raiding TKMax as l type lol 😁
Jack sounds like a lovely day planned for you all , eggs and spinach , my DH would love that !😀
Am off shopping 😁 can't do anything much but can hang over the handlebars of a trolley very nicely thank you 🤗
Have a great day everyone 😀

NerosFiddle · 19/06/2019 18:58

Evening all.

We've had a lovely couple of days in Liverpool and the weather has even been quite nice. I actually needed to run into Primark today to pick up a cheap pair of sunglasses because I left mine at home.

TheWoollybacksWife · 19/06/2019 20:35

Did you do any sightseeing in Liverpool Neros? I'm hoping to get up again before Christmas with my DDs for a bit of shopping, dinner and cocktails.

MrsMad sounds like your DD has got a fabulous job there. My DD2 is enjoying her new job - I'm going in to her shop tomorrow and going wild with my friends and family 15% discount Grin Have you had a look at the Lisa Angel sale? They've got vegan leather backpacks.

Loving the snowdog Fluffy. What is DD getting for her birthday?

I'm waiting for my Body Shop order (shave gel for DH and lightening and darkening drops for DD2) and I'm knitting cardigans for my newest great niece.

NoWordForFluffy · 19/06/2019 21:04

Woolly, great news re your DD2 and her job too. It makes such a difference to life when you're happy at work.

Jacks, my next project is a second Snowdog. The first is for DD and the next will be DS'. After that I'm going to do a robin one for my mum's Christmas present, then one called Daisy Coo, then a Christmas donkey one. That should take me towards Christmas nicely!

Neros, I might have seen you today; I was roaming round Liverpool One / Albert Dock at lunch time!

DD's getting: Batman Lego (Bat Shuttle), Lego Movie Lego, books, gel pens and a cuddly duckling. Plus bunk beds and new bedding (which she has no clue about!).

We're off to Lowther Castle on Sat and the kids are going to see Toy Story 4 on Sunday with the in-laws (while DH builds the bed!).

Morning all.

Woolley no real sightseeing. We took the dc to Mattel play at Albert docks.

Fluffy I was also around Liverpool 1 and Albert Docks at lunch time. If you saw someone with a double pram and keep saying "we're going to see Thomas the tank engine now", then that was me 😂.

Off home now shortly.

NoWordForFluffy · 20/06/2019 07:10

😂😂

I didn't notice you, but I bet we were close to each other! Xmas Grin

It's started a bit drizzly here, but is meant to be glorious later on. Summer is coming!

I'm going to mooch round John Lewis' sale later. There were some bits I saw online, but not enough to get free click and collect. So I'll see what of what I liked is in store!

Afternoon everyone. I’ve just put Jack down for his nap so I’m giving the house a bit of a spring clean. The weather is gorgeous here, so i’ll be hanging the washing out in a minute, then we might go to the park after tea.

EmrysAtticus · 21/06/2019 07:09

187 my first countdown!!!

Found my Christmas jigsaw while hunting for DS' red book so might start that this weekend.

Lovely sunny day here today, love being able to get my washing out again.

NoWordForFluffy · 21/06/2019 07:25

Morning!

Cloudy here to start but set to be lovely again. ☀️

We've been finding gaps in the weather - even if overnight - to put our washing out, Emrys! We line dry all year, so are weather forecast addicts! 😂😂

I like the sound of a Christmas jigsaw. Xmas Grin

What was the name of the company who makes that cross stitch? I googled the shop you saw it at, but couldn't find it. I'd like one more Christmas project. 🎅🏻

I would love to dry outside all year round but we have a north facing garden and come November it just doesn't dry :(

NoWordForFluffy · 21/06/2019 07:37

Ooh, ta! I love Sew and So!

We're north facing too, but the coastal breeze assists us. 😁

Mrs, check your 'threads I'm on'. It could be anywhere! 😂

And yes, I'm so much happier in the new place. They aren't utter dicks like the last lot.

Jacksmadre · 21/06/2019 12:24

Afternoon everyone!. I’m just getting lunch ready, we’ve just come back from baby swimming so we’re super hungry. We’re having mac and cheese 🧀. The weather is glorious down here so we might go to the beach after nap time and then meet some friends at the restaurant by us later.

TheWoollybacksWife · 21/06/2019 17:08
