New month coincides with the need for a new thread!

The last one kept us going for over 2 months, so let's see how we do this time!

Sorry to hear that you are worried about your health Mrs :(

We have had a very busy day at swimming and then a birthday party.

sideorderofchips · 08/06/2019 20:13

I’m alright. Same old same
Old. Dh hasn’t moved out but other changes have happened so hopefully we are working through it

One change may be that he changes his job. Which will involve a massive pay cut. So we will be working out how to cut back on a lot of things. Worth it though if it means he will be happier

NoWordForFluffy · 08/06/2019 20:46

I'm glad you're doing OK. And that sounds positive. Baby steps and all that. Flowers

God you’ve all been busy today. I’ll catch up in the morning, just wanted to post to say I hope you’re all well and I haven’t gone anywhere.

EmrysAtticus · 09/06/2019 06:38

DS' Christmas Eve PJs have arrived and they are lovely. They have hot air balloons on and are lovely soft organic cotton :) I mostly only get second hand clothes now so it was nice to get him something new.

For his stocking I was thinking orange, book, kaleidoscope, torch with dinosaurs and some socks or something. Does that sound sufficient?

Sounds lovely, Emrys.

Depending on how old he is (can't remember, sorry), I'd also include a treat to eat like chocolate coins. And a satsuma instead of an orange, just because they're easier to get into Grin

FireflyGirl · 09/06/2019 07:38

Glad to hear you're making some progress, chips Flowers

NoWordForFluffy · 09/06/2019 07:38

Morning!

Is that the torch with the three discs to project onto the wall? DS got that at 3 and adored it!

I always get slipper socks for them and some (dairy free) Christmas chocolate.

I'll get a couple of toys or games as well, and that'll do.

We finally have some sun here today. Woooo!

Yes the natural history museum one fluffy.

Chocolate coins definitely a good shout fire thank you. And an easy peeler as DS will be almost 4.

FireflyGirl · 09/06/2019 08:05

I got DS that torch. He dismantled it to see how it worked Hmm They all love a torch, though!

I'm taking DS to a rugbytots taster this morning. My family and friends think it's hilarious - he's not a rough and tumble kid at all. He's so excited about it, though. He couldn't stop talking about it on Friday when DH told him, even though he has no idea what rugby is Grin

EmrysAtticus · 09/06/2019 10:39

We are at the wetlands Mrs :)

Fedoratheexploreer · 09/06/2019 10:46

Emrys they sound gorgeous, where are they from?

It’s gorgeous by us, we’ve gone to the park and are having a sandwich. It’s lovely, I was getting fed up of the rain

EmrysAtticus · 09/06/2019 13:56

Picalilly Fedora, was half price :)

NoWordForFluffy · 09/06/2019 14:20

I'm looking for pyjamas, but I think last year's will still fit, so shouldn't really!

I've done another few hours at the allotment today and did digging for the first time since my op. The soil is lovely as it's rained so much. My friendly robins were eating the worms I was throwing to them!

Your allotment is very impressive fluffy! Mine is a raised bed but that's good because I am a complete novice. Am amazed that all of my plants are showing signs of producing something edible!

EmrysAtticus · 09/06/2019 15:46

Was thinking of getting one of these for my gardening MIL and might put them on my wishlist too.

NoWordForFluffy · 09/06/2019 16:02

They're lovely, Emrys!

If you get the bug you'll want more space too.

I need to check inside my brassicas to see if they have anything going on!

sideorderofchips · 09/06/2019 16:58

Ah got to keep going eh! No

But hopefully I’ll have more time soon to

CishAndFips · 09/06/2019 19:50

Evening all just popped on to say a quick hello. Things continue to be rather busy here with the big deep clean. I spent 4 hours cleaning the kitchen and its looking very shiny now. I picked up a little frozen set for DD from avon with a little perfume body wash and shampoo for another of her Christmas presents. My friend is an avon rep so i got it for £6 instead of £10 so im feeling very pleased with my little bargain.
