New month coincides with the need for a new thread!

The last one kept us going for over 2 months, so let's see how we do this time!

At least you have better weather for it today. I hope it goes well. Flowers

It's a bit of a trek to yours from the station, isn't it? I'm sure your plan will work just fine though. Grin

I have been having driving lessons finally this year it is so much harder than I originally though it would be and I am learning in an automatic - my spatial awareness is really bad so I just struggle with the whole thing

Yesterday went better and I am finally getting the hang of turning right I would love to be passed by the end of the year but I don't know if that is a pipe dream....

Fedoratheexploreer · 06/06/2019 11:50

Wooly I hope your day goes wellFlowers

Hairspray I found driving really hard too, I get anxious and would second guess myself all the time. I hope you’re able to pass by the end of the year, it’s great that you’re improving!.

My little cousin has finished her maths GCSE for the day, so I’m picking her up and then we’ll be having a picnic in the park and she’s staying over for tea and we’ll cook whatever she wants and watch her favourite film. She’s doing so well, god love her, she really struggles with her anxiety at school and we’ve been worried she wouldn’t get in to do her GCSEs but she’s really knocked down and got some revision done and has done so well going in every day. I’m so proud of her. Her mums got to take my other cousin to the hospital so I’m looking after her for the day and I want to make it as calm and relaxing as possible. DS1 is staying at nursery until 3 today as he’s going to look around his school, so she’ll pick him up with me which he’ll love.

I hope you all have great days!.

PJMasksGhekko · 06/06/2019 16:08

Thanks Mrsmadevans Grin
Have been getting the house in some sort of order, or trying to, it's an ongoing battle Hmm
I really want to get the kids a Nintendo switch for Christmas this year but they are not cheap and I only have a certain amount of vouchers to spend (I do park) think I might need to get some bank shifts in a couple of months before and save that money to buy one.
Fedora that is proper freaky, like yours our dog would bark too.

NoWordForFluffy · 06/06/2019 16:13

You might get one in the Black Friday sales, Ghekko. And if you don't have a Very account you can sometimes combine a new customer deal with a BF one. Or if you do have a Very account, you'll probably get a money off voucher at some point. And you can pay over 3 months too to spread the cost over your bank shifts.

Fedora, I'm sure your door is nothing spooky really. Most of these things have a logical explanation. I hope you've enjoyed your day today.

Hairspray, good luck with the driving lessons. I'm sure it'll click soon; it can take a little while and suddenly it just happens.

Ohhh I'll have a look at that Fluffy thank you, might look at Top Cash Back too.

NoWordForFluffy · 06/06/2019 16:55

New Very customers do quite well out of TC and Quidco too. I've earned loads through both of those!

PJMasksGhekko · 06/06/2019 17:00

Looking on AO.com they offer 0% interest on it, if that stays the same I'll do it that way.

PJMasksGhekko · 06/06/2019 17:02

Top cash back are offering 10% at the moment, think I've found my way of getting it Grin Thanks Fluffy x

NoWordForFluffy · 06/06/2019 17:03

Glad to have helped! Xmas Grin

Which if true is actually more scary when you think about it Shock

Weather supposed to be terrible tomorrow, windy and drowning rain, Hmm same old same old , never mind get the brollies/wellies out and think of Fluffy's garden/allotment loving it Grin

Fedoratheexploreer · 06/06/2019 17:52

Fluffy thank you it’s been lovely, we were invited to our neighbours little boys party so have spent bit the evening there in the sun. I’m sure the door is nothing, but I can’t think of an explanation!.

Mrs I think it might be me sleep walking as I’m a light sleeper so would hear if it was anyone else. No problems last night though. Our gate is connected to our neighbours house and they said they didn’t open it or anything so I’m really confused

Mrsmadevans · 06/06/2019 18:19

Fedora do you think you are sleep walking m'dear? Ohhh l wonder if you are ? I know some ppl do and they go into their food cupboards and fridge and eat loads of food and end up obese not that l am wishing this upon you

Fedoratheexploreer · 06/06/2019 18:22

Mrs I’m not sure, DH says he hasn’t noticed me getting up in the night and nothing like this has happened before. I think if it happens again I’ll put some cameras up. I hope I’m not sleep walking though, sleepwalkers scare me.

Mrsmadevans · 06/06/2019 18:26

I think cameras is a good way to go Fedora. l have long wanted to put some up here but DH and DDS won't let me Grin
TBH with you, sleepwalkers are prob the least of our worries lol

PJMasksGhekko · 06/06/2019 18:38

I hope so Mrs Grin although it's only the youngest who now believes, she's 5 next month.

I was a sleep walker as a child, and I sometimes have weird dreams about people in the bedroom, very odd.

PJMasksGhekko · 06/06/2019 18:43

Here is the pup, 6 months old today Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 06/06/2019 19:29

She'll be enormous, Ghekko!

Don't you have to be a really deep sleeper to sleepwalk? I doubt it's you Fedora if you're a light sleeper. Would explain the dog not barking if it's one of you though.

Mrsmadevans · 06/06/2019 19:31

PJ what a gorgeous dog ahhh just lovely , Collies are so sweet natured , thank you for showing her picture bless her Smile
Well at least you will be extremely popular with your DC come Christmas day , what put my neice off the switch were the very expensive games for it , they were about a tenner more for the same game for a Switch than PS4 OR Xbox 1 Hmm

Mrsmadevans · 06/06/2019 19:32

Oh yes l didn't think about the dog barking ! Well spotted Fluffy Grin

PJMasksGhekko · 06/06/2019 19:55

We will only be getting things like Mario Kart etc, not buying games they already have for the PS4, games are crazy prices for all of the consoles now Mrs,I do like a bit of Mario Kart myself to be honest Grin

Thank you, she's a little devil at the moment, and DD2 is her partner in crime, she is very protective of DD2 too.

Ah yes, the dog wouldn't bark if it knew who it was Fedora.

Mrsmadevans · 06/06/2019 20:08

I haven't played on a console for a very long time but l do like Thief lol.
You will not remember Thief l am sure but l couldn't finish it and l spent so much money in a phone line to tell me how to do it lol , l did get there in the end though Grin
It's lovely to get a young pup to grow with the little ones , enjoy her and the children while you can it goes so quickly Smile

PJMasksGhekko · 06/06/2019 21:17

I have never heard of Thief Grin

VivaJen · 06/06/2019 21:56

She’s a wee cracker PJMasks I love how smart Border Collies are!

PJMasksGhekko · 06/06/2019 22:25

She's very smart but also a bit dumb Grin
Over the field she hasn't quite got to grasps with bringing the ball back, so I seem to spend a lot of the walk getting the ball myself Grin
We also have a collie who likes to try and herd cars, I did read that some do, just our luck we have one that wants to Hmm
