Evening everyone 😀
Cish thank you so much . DD1 had a lovely birthday, we rounded it off today with a smaller 🍰 Cake at my parents. . So they could be a part of it like they have always been 🤗
How are the headaches now? Hope they are gone . I see you have colds 😫 horrible things wrap up and have a sofa Sunday evening 🤗 new series of midsomer murders on 😃
Crazy sounds like a good Sunday to me 😁 lunch at the ILS sounds lovely 😋😋
Fluffy hope you are having a good day m'dear 😀

Mrsmadevans · 10/03/2019 17:43

Weather has been terrible very light snow on the Blorenge Mountain in front of us , windy , cold and raining like hell 🙄
Am taking Dad to the Consultant Haemotolgist tomorrow so we will see what she says 🤔
Have a great evening Everyone ☺️☺️

TheWoollybacksWife · 10/03/2019 18:00

I was an accountant MrsMad - firstly in industry then in education. I resigned because of being pressured to return to work while my mum was dying Crazy. There were other things too but I wasn't enjoying my job and it was the final straw.

I'm also looking forward to the new Midsomer Murders tonight but I'll probably record it and watch it tomorrow during the day when I've got the house to myself. I need to shift my butt and dish up dinner and sort out DS's uniform for tomorrow. It's blowing a hoolie outside and it was sleeting earlier when I collected DD1 from the station.

Mrsmadevans · 10/03/2019 18:42

Woolly that is awful. l am so sorry that happened to you Flowers
l imagine you can easily get another job if you want one Smile but if you don't need to or want to then you do what you want to Smile
Life is too short to be treated like that and to be unhappy .
I am so glad l could afford to finish to look after my parents and it took a lot of heart searching to do it but l don't regret it at all , it came at the right time and l couldn't possible work and look after them as well .
Enjoy Midsomer Murders whenever you get the chance to watch it Smile
We are watching Dancing on Ice the final lol , well the others are, l am watching these videos on You tube they are brilliant

Have a look if you got a min they are so interesting and sweet Smile
Mrsmadevans · 10/03/2019 18:44

Evening everyone Grin
Am talking to myself by the looks Grin have l put you all off the place

Never mind l will carry on regardless Xmas Grin
So took Dad to see the consultant , he has a chest infection is now on antibiotics, also his bloods are up the creek again, he is having another 2 units of blood next Monday in Hospital and his consultant is going to get him some Ensure drinks for him to drink to build him up , she is just amazing . I can't believe how patient focused she is . Dad was so tired when we bought him home . Ahh love him he looked so tiny and so ill in the wheelchair , l felt so sorry for him Sad
We were up the parents from 10 this morning till half 5 tonight and we are so tired . Never mind he lives to fight another day bless him .
Fluffy , hope your dressing change went well today, l am sure it did. I hope the pain is easing too Flowers
My little girl is better today her Mum phoned me , they are hoping to take her off the ventilator tomorrow , she had pneumonia afterwards so it was infection related but she is such a fighter honestly she has such a strong will to live love her Smile
Have a great nights sleep everyone Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 11/03/2019 21:49

That's such good news, Mrs! She's a true fighter indeed. Flowers

I hope your dad improves soon. Poor thing must be tired.

My dressing change was a farce as I was told it was a drop in service. But it wasn't / isn't and there were no appointments until Thurs. So we spent 2.5 hours at the walk-in centre in Ormskirk. The good news is I don't need dressings now so can shower again. I've made an appointment for my clips to be removed next week.

Obviously, if we'd known I'd only needed to take the dressings off, we'd have done that without sitting there for hours!

Fluffy , your shoulder wounds look brilliant , no sign of infection, only slight bruising, they are healing so well! I am thrilled for you , pity about the wait but never mind these things get lost in translation but so long as you are ok that is all that matters.
I know my little girl is just amazing, she is so brave and such a fighter .
Hope you are ok m'dear , still early days take it easy Flowers

LavenderBelle · 11/03/2019 22:06

Hi everyone, hope you’re all okay. Just popping in to say hi.

Fluffy That looks painful! and that’s annoying about the unnecessary wait, I hope the pain is easing

Mrs So glad to hear the little girl is better, I have been wondering about her. What a little fighter she is!

I’ve been in hospital for reduced movements with the LO, he’s doing okay now they were just monitoring me. Not much else is going on in my life, just want to keep popping in and seeing how you’re all doing.

Mrsmadevans · 11/03/2019 22:47

Lavender Smile l am so happy for you that your LO is fine, it is a frightening time when that happens , l remember it happening to me on my DD1 and she had just moved position and l wasn't feeling her kicking as much but it is always really important to get it checked out so well done on that Flowers
I know my girl is just astounding such a trooper bless her Smile
Have a good nights rest m'dear take care Smile

Morning everyone 😀
The weather is atrocious here , gusting wind and torrential rain 🙄 storm Gareth is coming LTR tonight too 🙄🤔 we were going to get the conifers cut today but it is not safe to do so have messaged the man to decide what he wants to do .
Mum rang late last night, they were both exhausted . I can see a huge row going to happen there today between my Sister and my Mum because Mum is so stressed about Dad and herself . Sister is doing them this morning 🙄she's such a horrible person 😪. What l ever did to deserve her as a sister l don't know.
Anyway, Fluffy hope you are doing great m'dear . Star patient 🤩 🤗
PSB l hope everything is ok with you and your family m'dear .
Lavender hope LO is moving as normal now 🤗
Have a great day everyone spk LTR l am sure 😃

NoWordForFluffy · 12/03/2019 10:56

Morning!

Awful weather here too and worse expected as Gareth sets in.

We went to Costa after the school run then popped into the physio for DH to book an appointment. The physio asked what I'd had done, so I reeled off the list. He was glad they'd done it arthroscopically as it's easier healing.

DS got upset about my shoulder again today. Bless him, he's so sensitive and caring!

OP posts:
TheWoollybacksWife · 12/03/2019 12:17

Grim here too. Very wet and a bit gusty but I think the strong winds are due later this afternoon.

Busy morning for my inner domestic goddess 😇 - ironing pile cleared, three loads of laundry, DS's bedding changed and a loaf of bread and some rolls are cooling ready for lunch.

I feel some crochet and a black and white movie are in order for the afternoon.

Fluffy your incision sites are very neat. I was stitched not stapled but also had one front and 2 back incisions. I can barely see mine now - well I could never see the back ones anyway because I'm not an owl.

Good news on the movements Lavender. How far along are you?

MrsMad I watched Midsomer yesterday. Very clever plot. I do miss Jones though - I think he was the best sidekick. Try not to get wound up about your sister - easier said than done though. Thanks

Mrsmadevans · 12/03/2019 15:34

Afternoon everyone Grin
Fluffy your DS sounds an absolute darling bless him Smile
Good to hear the physio was happy with your op and treatment . Agree with Woolly your wounds look brilliant so small, clean and healing well. Hope you enjoyed your Costa Grin never been into one and that is honest . I am a boring old woman lol Smile. I have not lived lol Grin.
Weather is gorgeous here now , sunny and blue skies , it will make up its mind Smile
Woolly , well done on the Domestic Goddess this morning Smile
I think crochet and a black and white movie are definitely in order for the afternoon , Enjoy it Brew Cake
Have done a bit too, sorted the DVDS out of their cases into a huge storage case l bought from Amazon , it has freed up so much room and l can see exactly what l have now too. I want to re watch my Ian Carmichael Lord Peter Wimsey series. l loved Ian Carmichael as Lord Peter he was just perfect Smile
I could not fathom out the plot for this Midsomer episode and l am normally not bad at working it out . l agree with you re Jones being the best side kick too Grin. I know re my sister , just can't let it go , l almost need counselling l think Sad.
DD1 and l are watching Jeremy Kyle on ITV2 OMG it is awful , are the people actors ? Only surely no one is that bad ? lt is car crash TV l can barely tear myself away from it Grin
Have a good afternoon everyone Smile

NoWordForFluffy · 12/03/2019 16:43

Woolly, well done on being so productive. I am guiding DH in being productive on my behalf. He's loving it 😂😂

Your afternoon sounds lovely. We're re-watching Line of Duty before it comes back. We just finished series 2.

We've had clear blue skies here too Mrs. Still have. Calm before the storm, though it's still windy out there.

Any word from your mum, Mrs. What's the fallout from any argument with your sister likely to be like?

I won't go looking my scars out either, Woolly. I'm not bothered by the ones I can see (c sections) let alone those I can't!

OP posts:
NoWordForFluffy · 12/03/2019 16:45

I've never watched JK, Mrs. You're not selling it! 😂

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 12/03/2019 17:41

I trust you are not bossing your DH Fluffy how very dare l suggest such a thing mwahahahaha Grin
Line of Duty is so good Fluffy , we love it here as you know and every series l think they can't better the last one. Yet every time a new series comes out we are gripped again, it's TV at its best .
JK is truly awful Fluffy my Mum loves it she is hooked on it Grin so when we go up she either watches it on plus one or l see to Dad first and she watches it early, when my Sister looks after them she won't let her watch it Sad , she goes on at Mum for watching it .l think if she wants to watch it let her watch it , no skin off my nose so long as she is happy . I told Mum to let it go with the Sister today because Mum is so tired from her legs being so bad . So nothing went on today but after the hospital appt yesterday, my sister rang to see how we got on and l HAD to talk to her . I hate talking to her on the phone she is so demanding , she never lets up never lets me have my point of view and interrupts the whole time . Anyway we had been up the parents and to the hospital for 7.5 hrs yesterday and sister phones and says 'oh you poor things having to be out so long ' and in the background l heard her DH say , 'we have to go to the f... funeral ' someone we have known all out lives has died and they are going to represent the family ie Mum & Dad . I said to my sister 'what did he say?' and she repeated what he said and l couldn't help myself but snap at her saying 'you don't have to go , no one is making you go , don't go if you don't want to ' . She replied 'oh no we knew Moira we want to go ' . They always go to funerals , they go for the tea after, then criticise the tea, the mourners, the service, the flowers, the vicar , the clothes the mourners wore, the venue, the announcement in the paper , the order of service, the written font they used, the paper they printed the service sheet on , the eulogy , the songs , psalms , the photos they used , where was so and so they should have been there , you name it they criticise it Hmm. I am not exaggerating, seriously .
So she tittle tatted to Mum today that l had been sharp to her when her DH was only joking .He is always only joking of course we always get it wrong . Well l didn't find it funny that we had done all those hours yesterday and do it willingly and do it all the time and he was complaining about going to a funeral as if it compared to what we do every damn day for Mum and Dad. So they copped it .
You did ask m'dear Grin

TheWoollybacksWife · 12/03/2019 20:18

My mum had a saying that "So and So was only ever really happy when they were miserable" Grin and that sounds like your sister MrsMad. It's a bloody shame it's you she's miserable with, though.

NerosFiddle · 12/03/2019 20:25

Evening all. It has been awful weather here the last few days. We are going on a ferry next Monday so fingers crossed that it takes a turn for the better.

Mrs so sorry that your sister is causing you so much anxiety and misery. Family really know how to test you to your limits.
It's great news about your little girl though. I'm praying everything works out.

Fluffy very neat incisions. Hopefully you'll have very limited scarring.

Woolly can you come round and be a domestic goddess in my house too 🤣.

Lavender glad everything is ok with your lo. I had to go in a few times for monitoring and it can be so worrying.

Off to watch Derry Girls now.

TheWoollybacksWife · 12/03/2019 20:33

Nero thanks for the offer - it's very kind - but I couldn't possibly impose Grin

Is Derry Girls good? I've seen the trailers and it reminds me of Moone Boy and I loved that.

Mrsmadevans · 12/03/2019 23:16

Woolly, what your Mum said made me laugh , it is my sister exactly Grin
My DDS say Derry Girls is very funny and they love it , not seen it myself though .
Nero the weather is just awful hope it improves for you by the time you go on the ferry m'dear, thank you for the support re the Sister from hell Grin I am waiting for more info on my girl from her Mum Smile
got everything crossed for her Smile
Have a good night sleep everyone Smile

Morning everyone 😀
Storm Gareth wasn't so bad it seems. I can't see any damage outside so that is all good. Hope it hasn't been too bad for us all 🌬️💨🌧️🌀💧😁
Am watching a rerun of Cheers , trying to avoid the boring Brexit news the man shouting outside the makeshift newsroom is getting on my nerves not watched it before but finding it really funny 😂.
Fluffy hope the healing is continuing , nearly a week since the op and it seems like you are doing great 😊
Just going to have a cuppa
No plans today, Mum having a perm this morning , that's 3hrs she will never get back 🙄 . I hate perms 😂 monstrous things 😁 she always looks awful after it , tight curls stuck on top of her head 😶there are no words ☺️
Better shift have a lovely day everyone 😀
