Thinking of you today fluffy. DS and i got drenched on the school run this morning. DS slipped on a grass verge just as we walked up to the school gates, he was completely covered in mud. One of the teachers took him in to get changed into his PE kit.

Back home with DD now, the house looks like a mini tornado has swept through it. Im trying to motivate my self to start tidying up but i just want to curl up under a warm blanket with a cup of tea.

Hopefully Fluffy you have your op over you by now and it all went well.

DS has a heart murmur that they are just going to keep an eye on. He did get an ecg in November as requested by another dr but the dr yesterday couldn't find it. He said that was a good thing because if it was anything serious he would have been sent the results. At the minute they are treating it as innocent.

In Christmas news I have started my monthly purchase of Morrisons stamps to pay for the food shop. Last year I had to put £7 to my stamps. I've also started squirrelling away the change from DS's karate lesson each week. I usually pay with a £10 note so the £4 change is going in a tub and will be used to fund our Christmas entertainment. He can go twice a week but he's so tired after school that he doesn't often go to his midweek lesson.

Mum is very stoical about Emily dying , she is still very switched on mentally and can see it was a good life spent and a good end of life and really what else can anyone ask from life. 🤔
My girls need to doing well at all , l will offer to sit with her in picu for her Mum to go to the grandwedding renewal. She would be ok with me looking after her l am sure bless her 😪

My DC's school do a book week all week, DS2 read to nursery and DD read to yr2, they have their dressing up day on the Friday.

I agree the parents are like this because they have been through a lot in their lives and develop a sensible and practical attitude to life thankfully. It's very upsetting for them but they learn how to cope with all sorts l think 👍

fluffy no dressing up here. School did used to do a pj day but it was just a book swap this year. Glad to hear you had your procedure and i hope your on the mend quickly.

My little girls grandparent have cancelled the renewal vow ceremony because she is so ill . l really think it may be the end for her this time , l really do .
My ex bil is doing ok , phoned him yesterday and he is having a lot of support from his 2 stepchildren, l am so pleased they are supporting him
Not much else going on, just watched 2 episodes of the sewing bee , l love it

I have bought some Easter eggs but they are going with my friend when she calls later so l am being very good about eating them

I'm in more pain today, but it's a get worse before getting better thing! The nerve block has mostly worn off so I at least have control of my arm now. It was paralysed until about 4 this morning!

My mouth feels like it'll never be wet again probably the combination of being intubated and the oxygen being pumped in!

I discovered I can sleep on my left side. Sleeping on my back gave me back ache. We're going to put a rolled duvet behind me so I can't roll back and a pillow under my right hand so my shoulder doesn't drop.

I'm home! It's almost 11 AM. We had to leave our house at 7 AM. My appointment was ok but not the best. I'm kind of emotionally poo today from it. We did get some good snow though! Not a lot but enough to make things pretty! So here's some snow pics!

The great news is I am 109 lbs! I've gained 10 lbs in almost 8 weeks! WAHOOOOOO!! (49.44 kg is how much I weigh and I've gained 4.5kg)

Here's my poor shoulder! Having to keep it immobile is making my arm ache. I'm very uncomfortable. I have paracetamol and codeine. I'm seeing the nurse practitioner next Weds to get more pain relief.

Fluffy did they give you a shoulder brace/sling? Mine had various bits to go round the upper and lower arm. That was brilliant for holding my arm immobile.
