Here we go, brand spanking new thread.

If you could finish the old one off first, that would be great!

PSB the DC's films sound brilliant so interesting . l wouldn't mind doing that myself! Grin
Wheelie can't wait to see your new curtains , naughty but gorgeous kitties Grin am loving your orange flower power too Grin
Cish ahhh you poor thing l am so sorry you still have these awful headaches, when you go to the GP, can you ask for a CT scan if possible, just to put your mind at rest. I am sure it will be fine but you need to look after yourself because 'Let he who shouts loudest get heard first ' Flowers
Crazy 'At home, my dad woke me and my sister up every day in December with Christmas music (it was on downstairs and he turned it up and up until we woke up) and now we've moved out he calls us early on Dec 1st and we all listen to a song together. DH and BIL think we're nuts but I love it ' this is so special you have such a lovely Dad Flowers My Dsis is awful, she is getting worse as she gets older , l can't bear her . The latest is she wants Dad to sell his car 'if he isn't going to get better and is content to stay in the house for the rest of his days then sell the car' as if he is deciding to have CMML and kidney failure Sad. Mum said to me about it . l think Dsis is cruel because while it is there it gives him hope . I can't bear it. l feel really bad on times Sad hopeless because she twists everything l say . l love seeing the lovely dresses at awards the next day too Crazy Xmas Grin. I find the speeches cringeworthy tbh Grin sorry Lavenders DH Grin
Think l have caught up now Smile have a good night sleep everyone Smile

WheelchairWoes · 28/02/2019 01:25

Lavender You should totally do lights! They make some wonderful twinkle lights that are solar powered too!

PBS That's so cool!

Mrs I think your dad calling you to listen to that song is FABULOUS! Awwww my heart!

PhilomenaButterfly · 28/02/2019 10:41

Morning! Just had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs,a banana and a coffee. 😋🐟🍌Brew

Dying at the price of DD's secondary school uniform! 😮

LavenderBelle · 28/02/2019 12:27

Mrs I’m sorry about your sister, it’s not nice if she’s twisting your words.

Fluffy Have a good last day at workSmile

Philomena Secondary school uniform prices are shocking, it’s not long since I was there but I imagine it’s gone up even more. I had to get a new blazer every year too, it cost so much money.

CrazyBaubles · 28/02/2019 13:57

Aw loving all the love for my dad today. He had his faults but he's known in my family for throwing gumself into Christmas, especially for the kids.
He also used to take us (me and dsis) Out then get 'lost' on the way home so we spent a lot of time driving around looking at peoples lit up houses. Only as an adult did we realise he was multitasking by enjoying time with us, getting us tired out from excitement AND giving my mum some peace and space to wrap presents at home Xmas Grin
Other fave which he does now for the grandkids - at some point on Christmas Eve he will point out the window and shout that he's seen the sleigh and rush you to come and look with him. He did this even when we were teens and found it embarrassing but he then did it for our younger cousins then my nephew and now he's at the age he isn't believing the babies are here so he can do it for them.

Fluffy very jealous that today is your Friday.

MrsMad I wonder where HairsprayBabe is? I can't remember if she was getting married last October or this year?

I am aching today. I think I overdid my steps and beginners jogging yesterday as my legs, hip and back all hurt. But I will persevere as I need to be fit and healthy! 💪

Seafoodeatit · 28/02/2019 15:56

Hi all if anyone remembers me ;gin; , feels like forever since I was able to post! I had my baby, turns out baby was a girl, she's a month old tomorrow. I've not had time/energy to come on and am battling through nipple thrush and mastitis atm but hopefully that will resolve itself.

Hope everyone is doing well, I hope I can start to read/post more in a few weeks.

I love that super mario flower :)

Seafoodeatit · 28/02/2019 15:57

Gin *

LavenderBelle · 28/02/2019 17:26

Crazy Sorry you’re aching, but at least it shows something is happening, keep going at it🙂

Seafood Congratulations on your little girl❤️

LavenderBelle · 28/02/2019 17:32

I’ve just got back home from work, put a pasta bake on and will get cracking on my course work. I’m very behind so if I come back here talking shout at me because I need to focusGrin

NoWordForFluffy · 28/02/2019 17:37

Congratulations, Seafood! Had you been told your baby was a boy or was that your feeling? We've had so many pregnant people recently that I've lost track of who knew what!

I hope you recover from all your ailments soon. Flowers

Crazy, your dad sounds awesome! You must have some lovely Christmas memories. 🎅🏻🎄

Hairspray gets married this year. I imagine she's very busy planning!

I had a meeting today about getting me set up to work from home while I'm recovering. They're going to bring me my chair and other stuff over, which is nice!

I'm knackered today. It's been a long old week. I love Fridays off, but condensing can feel like a killer sometimes.

It's chucking it down here. Bye bye nice weather!

PhilomenaButterfly · 28/02/2019 18:54

Lavender DD will only ever need 2, as they only do 2 sizes, thank goodness!

If she gets her second choice we save a fortune!

Picked DS2 up, had beef stew with dumplings for supper, DD had her SPaG booster, she came home at 4.40, DS2 was in bed by 6.30, DD will go to bed at 8.55. 😋📒😴

CrazyBaubles · 28/02/2019 19:24

Seafood Welcome back and CONGRATULATIONS 💐
I hope this issues sort themselves out soon.

Lavender Thank you. I was morbidly obese. Have been losing weight forever and am finally at a weight where I feel I am comfortable to exercise but it's been such a long time it's bloody painful.

Fluffy are your work at least allowing you some time completely off to recover before you start working at home?

I have done my walk today (and chucked in a bit of jogging too). It's odd how in theory I know the benefits but until this week I've been surprised by the benefits - I'm less anxious, slept better and been more motivated.

It's grey, cold and drizzly here. I'm in the minority but I prefer this to the sunshine we had yesterday!

LavenderBelle · 28/02/2019 19:35

Fluffy I’m not sure what you’re having your Op for, but I hope you’re able to recover well before worrying about work. Sorry that you’re tired, but at least you’re done for this week now. The weathers gone crap here as well, which is shame because I was really enjoying my garden time after work.

Philomena That’s ideal then. I had a new uniform every year, and I always managed to ruin my uniform within the first week of school so it cost mum a fortune. I’ve got it all to come.

Crazy Well done for losing the weight, I know what you mean about the excercise though, I was quite active but the early pregnancy really took it out of me so I ended up giving up on my excercise and have started to pick back up but I’m not the same as I was

PhilomenaButterfly · 28/02/2019 19:44

Congratulations Seafood! You can't drink Gin if you're bfing, you'll get her drunk! 😂

NoWordForFluffy · 28/02/2019 20:10

Of course you can drink while BFing, just don't go mad! That's a proven fact.

Crazy, it sounds like you're getting into the weight loss mojo. Good luck! I hope you get to the weight you want to be soon.

I get 4 weeks' paid sick, then I'm taking holiday for a week, then I'm working from home. I'm taking the op day as leave, as I'm off on Friday anyway, so my sick leave will be starting a week on Monday.

Lavender, I fell down the stairs last July and tore a tendon in my shoulder, so I'm having it fixed. I can't wait!

It's meant to be nice tomorrow, but lots of showers on the way over the next week. We're clearing the out houses and shed and having a sort out tomorrow. I hope it'll only be in the morning as I've been given two blackberry bushes I need to get into the ground at the allotment, so want to go there afterwards.

OP posts:
PhilomenaButterfly · 28/02/2019 20:15

Actually, that's true, I may have indulged while bfing DS2!

Mrsmadevans · 28/02/2019 20:17

Evening everyone Grin
Congratulations Seafood lovely news hope you and your baby girl what did she call her afterwards are doing well and yes l did remember you Xmas Grin
Get shifting Lavender ! Xmas Grin
Crazy any news on the job front m'dear? Your Dad is a darling he sounds lovely bless him Smile, have a long hot bath with salts in it will do your aching muscles the world of good . Have seen Hairspray babe on AIBU about her bridesmaids dresses which were gorgeous! Wedding is in October , l did pm her to give her my congrats but she hasn't replied lol obvs l am not a desirable acquaintance but l bear no malice Xmas Grin hope she has a wonderful day Star
I was morbidly obese 7 yrs ago. l had an epiphany and lost about 13 stone, l was much too thin it felt really odd , funny thing is the more l lost the less happy l was with my body, l felt bigger than ever and was so critical of my appearance it almost took over my life l became obsessed. I very rarely binge these days thank God and l walk a lot which l love Smile . l have put 5 stone back on over the years mainly because it was unsustainable my life was a misery existing on so few calories a day and l do feel comfy at this weight now and try to keep to it . l would like a bit more off but l am not going to beat myself up about it , take each day as it comes l say Smile
PSB is it really expensive the uniform , do they give you any financial help now or not , they used to give a grant a while back but not heard of it for ages. l would be tempted to get from Tu when they had the 25% off for things that are generic and not need any badges , also they used to have PTA sales in my DDS schools for uniform Smile
Fluffy, yay you are off now , that is good of work to do that for you but then it is only what you deserve , l should make it such that you work so well at home they will let you work from home when possible Grin, mind l don't suppose you could manage to work any harder than you do already m'dear Smile
Right am going now Masterchef is on Xmas Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 28/02/2019 20:34

13 stone?! Well done, Mrs! I think everyone has a weight which suits them and they're comfy with, so putting some back on was the right thing for you.

I have 3 days left in the office. I'm getting a list of my files next week so I can do a handover as to where I'm up to with each one. I feel a bit more in control today as work was stacking up. I've got ahead on loads of files, so that'll be a help when I'm off and when I get back.

My shoulder hurts so much. I think it's had enough of it all now.

PhilomenaButterfly · 28/02/2019 20:41

We're on working tax credits so don't qualify for free school meals or the school clothing grant Mrs. 😢 Apparently WTC's supposed to cover it. Hmm It's not much anyway, last time we got it it was £31, and then only for 1 DC per year.

PhilomenaButterfly · 28/02/2019 20:45

Unfortunately Mrs, the logo'd uniform comes to £139.50. If you don't have the £7 compulsory stripy PE socks you get sent to isolation. Hmm

LavenderBelle · 28/02/2019 21:20

Fluffy Jheez! That sounds sore. At least you have a lot of time to recover from the op though.

Mrs I’m finished now, thank god!. Will get off now and have a nice bath and do a face mask

NerosFiddle · 28/02/2019 21:36

Seafood congratulations on your baby girl

Mrsmadevans · 28/02/2019 22:04

I hope you are all watching or will be able to catch 3 identical strangers on C4, it is very interesting, sad, happy and l am incredulous how this was able to happen . I won't say too much to spoil it for you if you haven't managed to see it . Such lovely lovely families and boys . I can hand on heart recommend it
