It's a busy day here as we are sorting / clearing / tidying our shed and outhouses. Can't get much more exciting than that!

Then there'll be a few tip runs to do as well.

Nothing else really planned for today other than the school run again later.

PSB are you happy with your senior school allocation? My heart goes out to anyone who isn't. It was such a stressful time last year.

We are due 6-10 inches of snow this week guys! (15-25 CM) I'm so ready for the snow!

I've been sewing a lot today. Yesterday we ended up at the older kid's appointment which was super quick and then we went to the mall. Got some nice things including a new purse for me and two t-shirts!

Woolly I haven't had the email yet!

Had sausages, bacon, egg, tomato, beans, hash brown, toast, a banana and a coffee for breakfast, picked DS2 up, DD got home from her maths booster at 4.40, had Brazilian spiced coconut chicken curry for supper, DS2 was in bed by 6, DD will go at 8.05. 😋🍳🍌☕📒😋🍛😴

Been to the parents and sorted them both out , Mum went to the hairdresser and Dad agreed to having a shower he refuses anyone else to do it for him because they are 'too rough'
I gave his hair a bit of a trim too. I am no hairdressers though lol !
Am taking Mum for lunch with her friends tomorrow she is looking forward to it very much , DD1 will sit with Dad , she's a good girl
Lavender hope you had a nice time shopping for a pram did you manage to get one after? Have noticed the birds singing and the lighter nights and mornings soon be time to put the clocks forward

Woolly it seems as if it is getting much harder to get the DC school that you want for them it seems to be UK wide too , our local High school that my DDS went to is a million pounds in debt it's a great school too !

DH & DD1 went to Raglan Castle this afternoon it was free for St.David's day , took Mum & Dad some Daffodils and Welsh cakes this morning ,bless them . Well it's the little things that mean a lot when you are getting on l think, doesn't cost a lot just a little bit of thought
Have got to show you my Hyacinths that DH did for me, they are in planters at the door and the smell is so lovely when you open it .

It's been a steady old day here. I put clothes out on the line before I left this morning but it's been rained and darkened on by the time I got back. I'll have to rewash it all tomorrow. I had my physio this morning followed by a bit of shopping. We're looking for a new bed, but I haven't seen any I love yet.

We now have nits in the house, so I've spent the evening combing, combing, combing hair. Grim job! I'm very itchy now!

I found out today I didn't get the job. It's not completely unexpected as some of the completion were more experienced than me but still feels a bit 😔 especially as DH is away so I'm home alone.
I am just about to settle to an episode of Blue Bloods and a cuppa.

I have noticed the lighter mornings and birds singing. I am in the minority I think because I hate it. For me it means the beginning of insects (ladybirds being my phobia), spiders, wasps and lots of migraines due to bright sunlight

I'm sorry you didn't get the job, Crazy. It's always disappointing to miss out.

DH has got to treat my hair for nits before bed. Sigh. The glamour! He has no hair to speak of, so is safe.

I love the longer days, but can understand that phobias and illnesses would make it miserable.

Crazy l discovered l had something called Binge Eating Disorder, it's a severe mental illness/eating disorder . Almost like an addiction. I don't know if you have heard of it . Anything or anyone that upset me , stress, tiredness , nights you name it, any upset and l ate to relieve the hurt. I think l am a sensitive person and the weight of the world sometimes seems to be on my mind. I am better now. l try to avoid looking at animal cruelty and things that upset me and play on my mind. Anyway how l lost it was by going cold turkey on everything processed. I ate a lot of food but it was mainly
fruit /veg/meat/fish/cottage cheese and quorn products , no bread, pasta, pots, pulses at all. It worked but OMG l went too far and my mind was a mess. I thought l looked massive and was so critical of myself. I lost 13 stone and was like an old woman in the face, my hair started falling out and l was so obsessed by how fat l was , how many calories l ate and what l weighed and l wasn't at all happy. So l started easing off and over the course of about 5 years l have put on 5 stone, l am still much smaller than l was but l feel much better in myself. I am overweight but no one would look twice at me walking down the street whereas when l was much bigger l had horrible men/teens Fat shaming me in the street , now that was very upsetting l can tell you . Well done on losing 5 stone too it is really hard l know

Brilliant news PSB. Is that the one with the stripy PE socks? DS's uniform last year was eye wateringly expensive but it was the sports kit that formed the bulk of the expense. At least I could buy his trousers, shirts and socks from Tesco. With luck I'll get next year out of all the school branded stuff and then his uniform changes in Year 9 anyway.

Just a normal Saturday for you MrsMad. 😂 I need to go Easter egg shopping soon. Hopefully I can resist eating them once they are in the house. Have you finished Miss Silver yet? I'm on book 17 - it makes me crave tea at 3 o'clock and cocktails before dinner.

Nero I bought a new bed a couple of years ago and love it. It's a Silentnight Gel Tech ottoman bed. It was a toss up between that and a Hypnos - they are the ones that Premier Inn use.

Crazy sorry about the job. Well done on the weight loss. We are a family of spider phobes so I don't look forward to seeing the eight legged scuttlers every year. Flying insects I'm not too bad with.
