Here we go, brand spanking new thread.

If you could finish the old one off first, that would be great!

It's the benefit of being coastal: it's bloody windy most of the time! 😂😂

NoWordForFluffy · 20/02/2019 07:32

Have you considered a heated airer? Aldi and Argos do cheaper versions than the Lakeland one.

OP posts:
NerosFiddle · 20/02/2019 10:26

I have the Lakeland one. Tbh I'll need to get the tent so the clothes dry quicker. It's fine for dc clothes but for heavier things like towels it takes ages to dry.

Mrsmadevans · 20/02/2019 10:33

Morning everyone 😀
Hope you are all well and having a good day .
I still taken Mum to hairdresser and waiting for her , she won't be long today.
Just a wash and dry 😁
Wheelie hope you have a functional computer now m'dear. It's so annoying 😡
I feel your anger 😁
Fluffy, Speke Hall sounds lovely , we haven't got many NT properties here but go to Tredegar house a lot and love it. 😀
The heated airer sounds great , but Dh is another one who doesn't like drying clothes in the house PSB 🙄!
Better shift and see if Mum is ready 😊
Have a great day everyone 😃

PhilomenaButterfly · 20/02/2019 10:54

We don't really have room for a heated airer, and he'd probably complain about the cost of that too. Hmm

PhilomenaButterfly · 20/02/2019 10:56

Had choc chip brioche rolls. 😋🍫

NoWordForFluffy · 20/02/2019 12:40

It's cheaper than running the heating. And could go in the lounge overnight if there's really no space elsewhere.

We don't dry indoors if we can help it. We're avid forecast-watchers!

Speke is lovely, Mrs. Though right next door to the airport so can get loud and smelly (aviation fuel)!

Have fun with your mum, Mrs!

Fluffy We got almost NO snow! I'm so sad! And now it's all gone because it's raining lol

I wish we could hang our washing all year! I love it when it's fresh from the line!

PSB I feel very glad that we have a dryer for the winter although I do miss my line drying haha But with as old as it gets here it's just not always possible to line dry!

Mrs No more computer issues today! Which is fabulous!

I got an order for 10 tubie pads for a little girl so I'm working on my very first order! I'm also looking at all the fabrics on quilting sites and found SO many Christmas and Halloween fabrics that I so wish I could buy lol

It's super wet and not very warm today. No sunshine so we have the heater going! Lilah is hanging out on the kitty tree with Azrael today. He was giving her a bath like a good brother :)

WheelchairWoes · 20/02/2019 16:53

Check out the Christmas Cloth Store guys! It's amazing!

This was the Bell tree in Speke House Fluffy , l didn't like the song but the bells were lovely ! We are avid weather watchers too , l even alter the arms on the barometers every day Xmas Grin l may have a problem lol Mum has visitors this afternoon she is very happy today, she loves her niece who is going there Smile . Needless to say she is one of the SCUM that Dsis hates Grin Dh hates me drying anything in the house PSB but you made me laugh when you said 'During the week I passive-aggressively turn it up when he's gone to work at 6.30. 😂' well done you, he is being unreasonable and YADNBU Xmas Grin Wheelie am so pleased your puter is going well at last Smile Ahh lovely to hear that Lilah is doing great and her bro is looking after her like all good bros should! Smile Going to look at the Christmas cloth store now , will be drooling l expect Xmas Grin See you later most prob, have a lovely evening everyone Smile
WheelchairWoes · 20/02/2019 17:30

Mrs I LOVE the bells! The song is definitely MEH but oh those bells! It makes me smile!

Hope your mum has a fantastic visit! And I hope you love the Christmas Cloth Shop! I'm off to sew a bit now lol

PhilomenaButterfly · 20/02/2019 19:55

Met my mum in the Sainsbury's café, DS2 had cheese and tomato pizza and a chocolate eclair, my mum had steak pie, mash and gravy and an apple turnover, I had smoked haddock fish cake, new potatoes and salad and salted caramel cake, had chicken balti for supper, DS2 was in bed by 5.15. 😋🍕🍫😋🍎😋🍰😋🍛😴

NoWordForFluffy · 20/02/2019 20:31

Well done on your first order, Wheelie. Well done! And boo re the lack of snow.

Mrs, I'm glad your mum is enjoying her guests. Your sister needs to keep her nose out!

Good commute both ways today. Yay! Last day of no trains for me too. Phew!

CishAndFips · 20/02/2019 20:57

Evening all. It was a work day for me today, off tomorrow yay. Taking the DC's to my parents for dinner. They are already very excited (we go every week) so i think tomorrow is going to be a hard day .

WheelchairWoes · 20/02/2019 23:05

PSB What is the Sainsbury cafe. Can you explain it to a foreigner? Is it a small cafe? One in a big shop?

Fluffy I'm so glad your commute was good! I'm really sad about the no snow but lots of rain today bleck. lol

WheelchairWoes · 21/02/2019 03:12

Joe was in a wreck tonight. He's ok but our car is totaled. We'll know tomorrow if the person had insurance. My dad gave us his extra car so at least we have that now. Here's photos of the car

I'm SO glad he's ok but man this is so stressful and now we have to figure out how to get our wheelchair lift transferred to the new car

Oh no, Wheelie. I'm glad Joe is OK though. And a car is thankfully just a thing and can be replaced. Is insurance not compulsory?

Chucking it down here. It's meant to be short-lived though. It's my Friday. Whoop!

OP posts:
CishAndFips · 21/02/2019 08:53

wheelie Flowers glad joe is okay.
fluffy yay for your friday
Day off for me today i think well go for a walk in the woods later as DCs are already driving me crazy.

Mrsmadevans · 21/02/2019 09:56

Morning everyone Grin
Wheelie OMG l am so happy that your Joe is ok my dear but what an awful thing to happen for you all. The car looks a right mess and judging by the looks of that, he is really lucky to get out relatively unscathed . Like Fluffy said it's a nuisance and a bother you can well do without and it isn't fair but Thank God he is alright Flowers
Fluffy have a good journey in thank Goodness the nightmare commute is over Smile. Not long till your op and the sooner the better . Hope the weather improves it's very nice here atm Smile. Have a good day in work and a nice walk Lunchtime prapps Smile
Cish have a great time in the woods with the DC . l envy you it's a lovely family time for you all Smile
Am just off up the parents , dance club for Mum tonight , going to get my DD1 to sit with Dad while l take Mum . Dad was unsteady yesterday bless him. I am taking him to the Gp on Tuesday and Mum tomorrow . I think it maybe the increase in his Citalopram. It is the only thing l can think of that may be the cause .
Better shift have a good day everyone Grin

WheelchairWoes · 21/02/2019 14:56

Fluffy Our insurance only cover others and their property if we cause a wreck. We aren't sure if the other people were insured. We have to call today and figure out all that. Hopefully he was but the guy had just got out of jail so who knows!

Joe hurts today but is doing ok. Mostly his arms, as he tensed when the collision happened to keep him from hitting his head.

We have decided to buy a dash cam. When he's at work he has a lot of near misses thanks to idiot drivers so a dash cam is a good investment!

YAY for your FRIDAY! I hope commute is easy today!

Cish Enjoy your day off!

Mrs It was my nightmare phonecall! I'm always terrified he's going to get killed while at work! I did not sleep well last night!

I hope your mom has a blast at Dance Club and I think your DD1 visiting with your dad is a good idea. I hope their GP visit helps them both :)

I'm calling to reschedule my doctors appointment I have tomorrow. No way we're going to be able to drive out of town lol

PhilomenaButterfly · 21/02/2019 16:45

Sainsbury's is a huge supermarket chain Wheelie, we've had a superstore here since 2015, with a really lovely café.

PhilomenaButterfly · 21/02/2019 17:00

Had choc chip brioche rolls for breakfast, had chicken tikka makhani for lunch, had chicken katsu yakisoba for supper, DS2's just come in from the garden, he'll go to bed at 5.10. 😋🍫😋🍛😋🍗🍜😴

NoWordForFluffy · 21/02/2019 21:35

That's interesting about the insurance cover, Wheelie. We have 2 main types: third party, fire and theft and fully comprehensive. The latter pays out even if the other car isn't insured.

Enjoy dance club, Mrs! I hope your dad is better soon.

I hope you enjoyed your day off, Cish.

Those of you with around the right age girls, I think Wheelie and Biddy? What are 11yo girls wearing to parties these days? DD's asked for a dress! A dress! She hasn't worn a dress for about 2 years! My aunt's buying, but none of us have a clue what to buy! 😱 I'm in Style and Beauty asking as well.

TheWoollybacksWife · 21/02/2019 22:15

I have a boy about the right age PSB but I can tell you what his female friends wear.

What kind of party is it? Birthday, wedding or something else? When DS's friends dressed up for parties they either wore jumpsuits or Monsoon/Next style party dresses like these
