Wheelie l am so stressed about it my eyes have developed a twitch and l have this horrible tight feeling in my chest. I don't know what to do for the best but now my Mum is involved it is even worse.

Fluffy my SIL sent me a flyer for the Everyman panto yesterday. A Rock and Roll version of Sleeping Beauty. No cast announced yet though. I'm going to have a google and see if the other local theatres have announced what they are offering. How much longer until your op?

I took DS to the station this morning and was amused to see a couple of teenage boys from the local school filming a fox running across a nearby field. It must have looked fantastic on film - the ground was frosty, there was mist rising off the brook and it was a glorious golden sunrise.

Morning! The DC had yoghurt and strawberries, I've just had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, a banana and a coffee. 😋🍓🍌

Sainsbury's have got picnic, BBQ and garden stuff and outdoor toys in! It's February!

I saw something sad the other day on the way back from school Woolly, a poor fox with an injured front leg. He/she disappeared into someone's front gate. 😭

Dd is having a nap and DS is plying with his cars, so I'm going to make myself a cup of tea and listen to the radio for a bit.

PSB I suppose it's the same as us all watching for the first glimpses of tinsel and mulled wine in the shops but I'm not convinced that we have seen the worst of the bad weather yet so I'm not mentally ready for thinking about summer yet.

Am taking my Mum to dancing tonight. They have a fish & Chip supper for Valentine's day tonight. Mum is so looking forward to it 😀. They had their glasses today and loved them so that is a huge relief 😊

Mrs I hope your mum has fun dancing! Lilah is being such a booger!! How do you keep a kitten from JUMPING for a week. OMG lol She's all over. I think we'll have to get her back in the kennel soon.

So since yesterday I've been hearing a weird hissing sound under the intake vent for my heating system. It was worrying me so I called my da.....a PIPE burst!! Under my house! It's nowhere that will harm the house but my dad is on his way back to get it fixed for us! How it burst no idea because it's not even been that cold! UGH What a mess. At least we found it pretty quick.

Bit of a dull day here but we are going out for our dinner tomorrow after work. Ds is quite insistent hes not eating off the childs menu, i think he's eyeing up a choclate brownie and ice cream. DD just wants chicken nuggets, shes very excited about it. I think because she doesn't have it at home as most of our food is cooked fresh as it has to be highly flavoured for DSs sensory issues. Im very excited because there will be no cooking or dishes and I will have a latte afterwards.

DH got me a card, I got him a card and some Godiva chocolates.

Went to an eSafety workshop at school, picked DS2 up, DD had her SPAG booster, had lamb rogan josh for supper, DS2 was in bed by 6.45, DD will go at 9.10. 😋🍛😴

My commute was ace as I had a lift both ways! 😁

Where are you going out for dinner, Cish? We're going out to a local pub near school next week during the holiday. The kids have been dying to have their dinner there! 😂

MrsMad you need a kindle or the kindle app for iPad. You can choose your font size - it was a game changer for MIL. I love books and I thought I'd struggle to adapt to an e-reader but I love mine. I know that most books aren't free like the library but I don't pay more that £1.99 for a book and I had two £20 Amazon vouchers for Christmas so that will keep me going for some time. My first one went kaput last year and DH bought me a backlit one to replace it - I can read in bed without a light on and it doesn't disturb DH. It's a godsend given my insomnia. I'm currently working my way through the Miss Silver stories by Patricia Highsmith. They are Golden Age mysteries in the style of Agatha Christie - a bit formulaic but I read to switch off so I find them soothing.

I've made half a dozen jars of chilli jam today. It looks fantastic but I think I have a teeny tiny cut on the top of my thumb just under the nail where some chilli has got in. Ouch!

I've also got a bottle each of raspberry gin and blood orange gin steeping. I'm hoping to use some of them for prosecco cocktails at Easter.

fluffy just to a pub about 10 minutes walk away. Its only a sizzling pub byt the DCs love it and get very excited if we go.

It's my 30th wedding anniversary later this year so we might do presents or a holiday weekend. No Valentines cards or presents here either but I think DH and I are going out for coffee and cake together tomorrow and he's already said he'll do the station run in the morning while I have a lie in and a bath.

Took Mum to the Dance club OMG she enjoyed herself bless her ! There was a lovely old lady there called Marie she is 90 and absolutely amazing ! She was telling me about meeting her DH after the war and how he had been a Japanese POW for 3 and a half years . They had 5 DC and were very happy . Ahhh bless her heart. They are all talking about one another there it is hilarious! Mum said 'there is an undercurrent here tonight , Mary hasn't talked to me at all and look she is over there talking to Danny and CO the enemy camp ' . She actually said that ! I didn't eat all day to enjoy the fish & chips, Mum had scampi and chips it was gorgeous!
Wheelie you can't stop the kitties doing anything they are a law unto themselves , am so glad she is ok sweetie . Hope you got that hissing sound sorted by your marvellous Dad

We just send cards for Valentines, Anniverary, Birthdays and Christmas now , we do't do pressies , we used to buy loads of presents but as you get older you buy what you want for yourselves all the year round when you want something and tbh as you get older you don't seem to want stuff . I don;t know if that is what everyone is finding ?
