I have to wear a sling for 4-6 weeks then the total recovery is 4-6 months. I'll be off work for 4 weeks, have a week's leave, then work from home. I have a pile of books I want to read while I'm off!

I must have been lucky, I just logged in via Facebook. for everyone it was a pita for though.

I have had to download Firefox to be able to get on here properly , l don't know what has been going on here but Google won't let me sign in and Internet Explorer is driving me mental it is so slow and freezes all the time. Hey ho l'm here now . l must catch up with you all now

For all those struggling to log on today MN suffered a big glitch yesterday with people finding themselves logged in as other users. They had to log everyone out.

My husband found out hes got a new job today. Still the same company and same office but its a slight pay rise so hes very pleased. We are going out next weekend to celebrate.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who had issues with MN today. I was wondering what was going on and why I'd been logged off what a mess!!

Fluffy 4 weeks is hard but that's better than I thought it would be! You can work on catching up on your reading and hanging out here too! LOL

Mrs My dad is awesome! He built my wheelchair ramp and his whole house. My yard is too flooded and wet for him to fix what's going on now. Our window is leaking! It's coming in the top and traveling along the top and then leaking down the wall!! The girls have a fan faced to the wall and keep drying it up the whole wall with a towel and replacing the towel when it's too damp. I'm really concerned about mold so after my dad fixes it we'll pull up the part of the wall its in and replace that bit.

I had a nurse come today to see me about getting me personal aid hours when my husband isn't home and my kids are gone (specifically Wednesday's and Saturdays) I'm like I don't need really hands on hands on care but I need people to get me things and like help wash my syringes and get me the water and stuff so I can unhook and be on hand in case I get stuck and am in pain and can't move! She said she didn't think I would have any problem being approved for help like that. My other carer will still come to clean the house but this one is more hands on.

It's 5:09 PM so I got hooked up to my formula and go it started for the night.

I'm hanging out with my buddy Azrael right now. It's funny because for months and months I've been trying to get him to cuddle me and he'd run away. Now at almost 11 months old he's decided he loves his mama and is sleeping with me even all night!! I love it

Fluffy 4-6 months is a long time to heal. I hope you'll be good to yourself and take it easy. Though I'm one to talk. My physio tells me. It to do xyz and then I do it because it's the easiest and quickest way to get things done.

DH and I went to London for a pootle about , it was cold, raining , proper coat wearing weather

I said to DH that I love Christmas , New Years, Halllowe'en, Guy Fawkes, Shrove Tuesday and Easter but Valentines Day just doesn't do it ,.

I will buy him a card and some whisky , he'll buy me a card and chocolates but I don't get into the whole meal/presents thing . ( I know this is how some people feel about Christmas though ...)

Best bit is when Valentines is over and I can hoover up the cut price Love Hearts

Fiddle I'm 34! LOL Joe is 37 kids are 15 and 13. I remember the throw food on the floor age. UGH We had a poochie at the time who would thankfully clean it all up for us haha

Mrs I'm kind of glad I'm not the only one having MN issues. I thought maybe they'd banned me or something and I had no idea what I'd done wrong! LOL

My girls are off to my dad's later today and Joe will go to work at 5 pm. Since the girls will be gone he'll come home between runs and check on me. Hopefully they'll be able to get a carer to come be with me on evenings especially on Saturday's and Wednesdays as those are the days they hang out with my parents!
