Erm, page 39 Fluffy! Xmas Shock

NoWordForFluffy · 20/01/2019 21:46

Still 40 posts to go. No need to panic yet! It's not going to fill overnight. We only need a new thread when we have single figures left! 😂

I'll sort it on the train tomorrow morning (so before 7!).

He is miserable, Mrs. Poor sausage. His body needs to stop battling and just give in!

CrazyBaubles · 20/01/2019 22:02

Hi all. Quickly checking in. I've skimmed the thread this evening.

Fluffy thank you for the discount code. I intend to use it in the next few days.

Things with my auntie are deteriorating quickly now. On Friday she briefly woke and called me by my mums name and said she was glad I was there but she hasn't really woken back up since. Her breathing is a struggle and the nurses think she has just a couple of days at best. It's such an awful time and I don't want to derail the thread but you've all been so nice I didn't want to disappear either.

PhilomenaButterfly · 20/01/2019 22:13

Mrsmadevans · 20/01/2019 22:35

Morning!

DS came in with us last night. Poor sausage just wants his mum! I think we're keeping him off today even if he doesn't have spots as he's just not well at all. He needs a rest, poor baby.

Short day today thanks to my pre-op.

I'll come back on the train to do a new thread! It's leaving 7 minutes earlier this week due to engineering works. Joy!

NoWordForFluffy · 21/01/2019 06:56

If we could finish this one off first?! ❤️🎅🏻

CishAndFips · 21/01/2019 08:17

Mrsmad your home town really is beautiful.

fluffy poor DS and poor you I hope he is feeling better soon.

crazy hand holding andFlowers

NoWordForFluffy · 21/01/2019 10:07

Cish, how do you feel today? Could your headaches be hormonal? I've had some jenna's humdingers in the past, but only when I'm not on contraception.

Crazy, the worst part about the inevitable is the wait. You'll feel a strange relief once it's happened. Flowers

PhilomenaButterfly · 21/01/2019 12:43

Thanks Fluffy for the new thread!

Had sausages, bacon, egg, tomato, beans, hash brown and toast, a banana and a coffee today. 😋🍳🍌Brew

Have ordered a Red Box and 2 donation boxes on eBay, gradually buying sanitary products by adding them to my shopping list every day. Halo

DD spent her Christmas money online this morning: lots of pencils and a plushy hedgehog. 🎅🎄😆

NoWordForFluffy · 21/01/2019 14:32

I wouldn't eat again all day after that, PB! It's very rare I eat loads these days, not like when I was younger! I was a 🗑 as a teenager, eating constantly! 😂

So if you're a Red Box rep it means spending your own money all the time? Or do you do it to encourage others to join in?

I'm on the train home now. Decided to take a few hours' holiday so I could travel at my leisure, not running round like a mad thing!

donttakethebiscuit · 21/01/2019 17:17

Fluffy I hope your son is feeling okay, have any spots showed up yet?

PhilomenaButterfly · 21/01/2019 17:22

The initial outlay is yours, but that's the idea of the donation boxes, like the food bank ones in supermarkets. I've got a Facebook page set up as well, to encourage people from further afield to donate either sanpro or money. The money will help pay for the boxes, printing etc.

PhilomenaButterfly · 21/01/2019 17:26

Picked DS2 up, had Lancashire hotpot for supper, DS2 will go to bed at 5.40, DD will go at 7.45 as she has her reading booster tomorrow. 😋😴

NoWordForFluffy · 21/01/2019 17:26

No spots. He's fairly pale and wan, however. Maybe tomorrow!

I'm just waiting to see the pre-op nurse. I saw one person who does the swabs and height / weight etc, but have to see the next person now!

PhilomenaButterfly · 21/01/2019 17:30

Poor boy. Flowers Eurgh, the waiting around's the worst bit, isn't it? DS1's going to clinic tonight, he'll probably be there hours.

Mrsmadevans · 21/01/2019 18:24

Evening all.

Fluffy I hope either the pox makes an appearance or your DS shakes off whatever is making him feel poorly. Thanks for the chillies advice. I think I might try tomatoes and possibly strawberries in hanging baskets too. I've got walls on three sides of the garden that could happily take some baskets.

Crazy Thanks

MrsMad no rest for the wicked, eh Wink

PSB I've asked DD if they have a Red Box scheme at the school she teaches at as I'm keen to be involved with that.

I hope Wheelie is continuing to improve after her op.

More knitting, more mulled wine and (unfortunately) more snot tonight. I'm slowly but surely getting through all the yarn I inherited from my DM.

CishAndFips · 21/01/2019 20:21

fluffy I'm beginning to wonder if that's the case. Since taking the tablets on Thursday I've only had very mild headaches or sometimes non at all. Today though AF has arrived and I have an awful headaches tonight. How is DS this evening? I hope your preop went well.

mrsmad that sounds like a very busy day. I hope you have a lovely relaxing evening.

Mrsmadevans · 21/01/2019 22:20

Woolly l have been following the Woolly hugs on FB , the blankets are truly beautiful , such a lot of detail and intricate patterns they are just lovely. Hope the snot dries up and you are enjoying your mulled wine m'dear Wine Smile

I will not be able to catch up. Yesterday I spent 11 hours in the ER. My tube had completely and totally clogged. They did an emergency tube replacement last night. I'm now waiting for a new formula from my company that isn't so thick to maybe avoid this in the future. I am in agony and not feeling well at all after that.

Tomorrow at 11 AM my eldest is getting her new braces so that's some pretty cool news at least!

The now hit us but not so bad but the weather has been super cold 10 degrees f which is about -12 C.

I hope you all are doing well! I will try to read back to see what I missed
