Paddy says ‘fabulous daaaahling’ Grin
You are so right Mrs, there’s no way he meant those texts, sometimes just need to write things down to process and get things into perspective! I’m surprised my mum dying didn’t kill him off because it must have absolutely destroyed him, bless his heart! They are together again at last ana that makes me so happy, finally reunited and soaring the skies together Grin
That’s very true, it can only help and not hinder!
I’m going to become a lawyer whilst raising my beautiful Addie, and I’m going to do my degree and graduate and make him proud!
Feeling very humble and lucky right now Smile

Mrsmadevans · 29/12/2018 21:58

Acey ......l did think to myself, no BS now, that it was a wonder your Dad lived for as long as he did after your Mum died.
You are lucky but you so deserve it Smile

Mrs - we are on the same wave length that’s for sure! I’m just thankful that we rebuilt our relationship and also I had a wonderful childhood with my grandad raising us all, what an incredible man he is too, taking on 6 kids!

I’m having cuddles with paddy and Addie is kicking away; how very lucky I am ☘️ Luck of the Irish definitely Grin

Mrsmadevans · 29/12/2018 22:34

Your Grandad has been amazing , l don't know how he did it tbh it must have been really hard for him and he wasn't a young man when he looked after you all . Hope you have a good rest tonight m'dear you must be so tired what with all this upset and your damn sciatica playing up Flowers . We are off to bed too
Night night everyone hope you have a great sleep Xmas Grin

Mrs - thank you again for all your support, wisdom, kind words and just general loveliness! I truly am so appreciative, especially that you took the time to listen and comfort me despite all you are going through! You are one in a million Flowers
I’m unfortunately awake with this god forsaken sciatica, I could cry I’m in so much pain, ugh!

WheelchairWoes · 30/12/2018 03:51

Ok I'm going to attempt to catch up. But I will not get you all probably.

acey He was so very poorly at the end that likely he didn't know honestly WHAT he was saying. From the sound of him if he had been in his right mind he would have been upfront with you. Also you have a horrible nosy busy body bunch of family right? There's also a chance he was saying that to get cruddy members to speak up and then passed before he could call them out. But honestly. Low oxygen can make people act so weird. You are an awesome person and no one would fake PTSD as it's utter shite!

When my husband's grandma was passing she would go from telling people she hated them to sobbing over them and the doctor told us it was because of oxygen deprivation. It does weird weird stuff to you.

Mrs I'm glad your mom is speaking up about your DSIS's attitude. Especially since your Dsis is picking fights with the hair dresser and stuff. What a very unpleasant person your dsis is.

Is there a chance there's some mental stuff going on with your Dsis? Maybe she needs meds too? LOL

We had a great time with the family! I was exhausted by the time I got home but decided to play some video game. So check out some of the awesome Christmas from the game! You guys need some Christmas cheer! It's already the 6th day there but since it's still 5 here I'm not going to sing to you yet!

I'm probably going to turn in. I'm achey and really want some sleep! I love you all so much!! HUGE HUGS

Morning! I've woken up to an email from Sainsbury's about an order that's being delivered today. Oops, I don't want / need an order, so I'll have to call to cancel when they open at 8. If only their text service the day before hadn't stopped working, I'd have known to cancel yesterday! Xmas BlushXmas Grin

Acey, I can't really add anything that hasn't already been said. Flowers

Our hairdresser is coming today, so DD will be able to see again! (Her fringe always gets so long in the 5 weeks between cuts!)

Then I'll head to the allotment after that's done. Hopefully I can be nice and productive there for a couple of hours!

AceyMac13 · 30/12/2018 09:19

Morning!
Currently propped up on the sofa with shit loads of cushions, stupid ass sciatica!
We were meant to go to the next town and get my passport photo thing done, but I can barely move so it’s going to have to wait until tomorrow!

Wheelie - he was definitely an upfront and brutally honest type of person, one of the many traits I inherited from him haha. I think you are right and it was just the lack of oxygen sending him a wee bit loopy! Aye most of my family are scummy nosy busy bodies, hence why he went NC with them as did I and my bro’s! They are nasty, vile people! I don’t even know how you would fake ptsd haha let alone the meds’ I was on a few years ago for it 🤷🏻‍♀️ I think it was just the oxygen deprivation and I shouldn’t dwell on it Smile
Those pics look awesome! You love your 12 days of Xmas, I’m looking forward to today’s Grin

Fluffy - whoops 😬 never mind at least you can cancel it haha. Thank you for the flowers Smile

Mrsmadevans · 30/12/2018 09:31

Morning everyone 😀
Off to the parents in a min so can't say a lot but will catch up with you all later 😄
Acey rest up today sweetie. Think you need to see a specialist imho re the sciatica, make sure it really is that and you are having the correct treatment for it sweetie. There is something called SPD you can get in pregnancy but am not sure if the symptoms you have are connected Flowers hope you are feeling better today sweetie ❤️
Wheelie you sound like you had a good time with your family bless you ❤️
Thank you for the support you have given me re the evil DSis 😻
Fluffy thanks for the countdown tally m'dear 🤩 , enjoy the hairdresser visit 😄💇💇‍♀️💇‍♂️
Must go to the parents see you all later 🐊😄❤️

OP posts:
AceyMac13 · 30/12/2018 10:43

Mrs - thank you for the links my lovely! There is a possibility that it could be that! You are definitely right about seeing a specialist my dear, something needs to be done! I see the midwife on Thursday so I shall ask her my lovely!
I am feeling good thank you aside from this horrible pain, but I’m looking forward to a nice bath later which should ease it a wee bit!
I hope you have a lovely day with your parents my dear Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 30/12/2018 10:52

If you have SPD really badly, they might agree to induce you early. I went to see the consultant at 37 weeks with a view to being moved to 38 rather than 39 weeks for my ELCS. However, as DS was in an awkward position at that appointment, I was told I had to be admitted to hospital and I had a 38 week section for that reason, not my SPD!

It's worth investigating.

CathyBigBalls · 30/12/2018 11:12

Morning all. Feeling much better today, I’ll try and catch up with everyone later. Think we’re having a big roast today, I’m so hungry after throwing up so much.

Just want to say Acey I’m so sorry for everything that’s going on, please don’t let it get to you. I have known you, what, almost a week? And I can tell you’re going to be the most amazing mum. Through everything that’s happened you’ve stayed strong for your little girl and that just shows that you’re going to be great. I know it isn’t the same, but I had June when I was 19 and all of mine and DHs family didn’t want to know us, we were left alone with no money whilst still trying to get through uni, and June helped me through it all. Your little ones really do give you strength. I’m so sorry that it’s all happening to you at this time, especially when your PTSD is bad. I just want you to know that as much as we haven’t known eachother long I am always here to talk.

AceyMac13 · 30/12/2018 11:34

Aww Cathy thank you so much, that means more than you could know and I truly do appreciate it! May have shed a little tear too, I’ll blame the hormones Grin
I love Addie so much already, like it’s indescribable, and all I want is for her to have the life that she deserves! She has given me so much strength, so much courage, and so much hope that words truly do fail me. I was told due to trauma and injuries I suffered as a child, I’d never even be able to have children, so to be nearly 28 weeks pregnant with a healthy little girl is a miracle in itself! I can’t believe in just over 12 weeks She will be here (give or take when she wants to arrive.) She has given me a new lease of life and it just astounds me that I get to be her mummy ❤️
I’m sorry that you have had to go through all that, it can’t have been easy for you at all and I admire you greatly for it. You are clearly an amazing mum and have a lovely little family with your DH Smile
I will be doing my degree next October, and I’m determined to make Addie proud and show her that our circumstances don’t define us, it’s how we react to our setbacks etc that show our true character and strength!
Thank you again, I truly do appreciate it more than I could put into words, and I am also here for you if you ever want to talk too!

CathyBigBalls · 30/12/2018 12:27

You’re definitely going to make her proud my lovely, if you were my mum I’d be very proud of you.

AceyMac13 · 30/12/2018 12:31

Aww that’s such a lovely thing to say, thank you so much ☺️

PhilomenaNewYearButterfly · 30/12/2018 13:01

Making creamy peppercorn chicken with sautéed potatoes for lunch. 😋🍗

AceyMac13 · 30/12/2018 13:12

Ugh migraine time Sad

Paddy has completely dusted the nursery and cleared it out as it was used for storage. There’s one wall left in there that we need to paint, then we can assemble the cot yay!

We’ve got a cat net for the Moses basket to stop the cats and maverick especially getting in it. once we’ve sorted out our bedroom and moved all paddy’s stuff in including furniture, then we can think about getting the Moses basket out the box Grin

We have a van booked for next Saturday ready to bring the last of paddy’s stuff and all his furniture etc. Exciting times!

WheelchairWoes · 30/12/2018 15:30

On the 6th day of Christmas I'll gladly give to thee!! 6 geese a laying
5 golden rings
4 calling birds
3 french hens
2 turtle doves
and a partridge in a pear tree

Acey WOOT! Paddy will be officially all moved in soon!! I'm so happy for you!

PSB That sounds super yummy!

Cathy I'm so so glad you are feeling better!! I was worried about you!

Mrs Have a good time at your parents today. Hopefully if dsis comes around she keeps her mouth shut

Fluffy Wow your dd's hair grows fast! Glad you are on top of it!

Today I wanted to spend more time with my family but it's another stuck in bed day. I feel absolutely bad and so sick and I'm just crying because it's not fair. I'm tired of being sick

Come one, come all ,to the countdown to Christmas 2019 Thread 1
AceyMac13 · 30/12/2018 15:53

Wheelie - woohoo there’s the funky graphic Grin
Aye I know I’m so excited to have him all moved in Grin
He’s been so wonderful through everything, I’m the luckiest woman alive Grin
Oh no I’m sorry to hear you’re sick again bless you Flowers I’m not surprised you’re fed up Sad

Back to work Thursday, can’t believe how quickly the time off went! I’m definitely feeling the new year, new start, and I will soon finally be able to say I get to meet my wee baby girl this year soon! 😁

WheelchairWoes · 30/12/2018 16:10

acey Awwww back to work! That sucks! But definitely glad that Paddy will be moved in and all official!

I'm miserable and just sad and weird and blah :( I think staying in bed save to go to the flea market today is a good idea haha

NoWordForFluffy · 30/12/2018 16:11

So far this afternoon I have:

Put stakes in next to a piece of corrugated fence which had toppled onto my raspberry canes (which are meant to be dormant, but have leaves sprouting!) to keep it upright;

Put a timber panel against another bit of failing fence and staked that in;

Dug a whole load of plot which I'd not touched yet, removing loads of weed roots in the process;

Flattened a mound of earth and got the weed roots and general debris out;

Planted 20 giant snowdrop bulbs; and

Moved my water butt to where we'd originally decided to have it, but DH decided not to do when he took it!

I'm knackered as I was doing it for 3 hours. Sigh!
