I'd rather get nothing than a tat present i'm all fairness. It almost feels less rude, if that makes sense. I'd be upset too, Seafood.

Wheelie, wow, how big is that?! And will you ever leave it? You need a servant fanning you and feeding you grapes. 😂

No worries, PSB! Flowers

Oh Acey, you do love a bit of drama. Calm down, dear! My last word on this is that YOU made this public and I chose to post because you were deliberately giving a misleading impression about the nature of the message I sent to you. It is not me who needs to grow up in this instance.

_

^^ There's my line drawn under the matter.

God, busy day at work, but tomorrow is my Friday. So much to do before 5 o'clock tomorrow, however. I've got a load of trials coming up and cases to send to Court; it's rather time-consuming!

PhilomenaButterfly · 02/01/2019 17:49

My aunt and uncle once gave me the makeup bag my mum had bought my cousin the previous Christmas, and it was filthy, as were they and their house.

Mrsmadevans · 02/01/2019 17:53

I would rather have nowt too Fluffy because you don't have to spend your hard earned on the mean swines then!
Wow at the line Fluffy l couldn't do that if l tried for a month of Sundays! how did she do that
Sounds really interesting too , l would love to do that, delving into the ins and outs of a Duck's arse Xmas Grin

PSB that is awful, didn't they care that you knew?

NoWordForFluffy · 02/01/2019 17:56

Mrs, it's the underscore part of the punctuation keyboard, under the left square bracket!

I would probably not bother getting them anything, or just give a £1 bar of chocolate or something. Maybe a box of biscuits between them? Though I'd like those, so it's not the spirit, even if it's the same spend!

NoWordForFluffy · 02/01/2019 17:57

That's grim, PSB. 🤮

Mrsmadevans · 02/01/2019 18:00

Ahhh right thank you Fluffy so clever
Yes to the bisks or choc but honestly l always feel so bad not being my normal self , ie loving and giving , Fridays's child see mwahahaha

NoWordForFluffy · 02/01/2019 18:07

So uncomfortable with these babies, they seem to love digging into my bloody ribs!. I think I’m going for a nice long soak in the bath to see if they’ll move and then I’ll get some sleep!.

WheelchairWoes · 02/01/2019 18:27

fluffy It's ginormous!! It's definitely going to be hard to leave it! I came out to nest in it as hubby is taking a nap before work haha.

I measured it in inches so you'll have to translate them but it will help give you an idea of how big it is. It's 60 inches long when sitting up (it can lay down flat too) and 38 inches wide!

psb That's awful! I honestly think something like that would make me cry. There's just no caring in something like that. I'd prefer nothing compared to that.

Mrs He's a really good husband and very dependable and sweet :) The DC are very very fantastic kids. My oldest is done with school and we are watching some of the last Christmas movies being shown on tv while the younger kid does school.

Eldest's birthday is the 6th, she'll be 15. Youngers birthday is the 15th and she'll be 13. I think we are going to go to the Children's museum on the 14th.

Mrsmadevans · 02/01/2019 18:33

Wheelie that sounds a lovely birthday trip , Museum of Childhood ahhh just up my street. There is not much between your 2 DDs there is only 17 months between mine best thing ever !

NoWordForFluffy · 02/01/2019 18:34

Wow, a standard single bed here is 36 inches. 30 if you get a space saver one! 38 is huge. 60 is a lovely length too. I'm jealous! Xmas Envy

PhilomenaButterfly · 02/01/2019 18:35

I don't think so Mrs. They were scuzzbuckets. I haven't seen any of them since I was a teenager.

They were grim Fluffy.

NoWordForFluffy · 02/01/2019 18:38

I love the word scuzzbuckets. It just says everything it needs to!

PhilomenaButterfly · 02/01/2019 18:38

I was born on the Sabbath day, bonny, blithe, good and gay. We're the best! Xmas Wink

PhilomenaButterfly · 02/01/2019 18:41

You're right about no caring Wheelie. I didn't even know until my stepdad said "many happy returns". Bloody cheek of them.

Mrsmadevans · 02/01/2019 18:42

Heehee yeah right PSB Xmas Grin
I love Scuzzbuckets too lol
that chaise is massive Wheelie ! Enjoy it!

That's the tree and all our decorations down today. Usually feel pretty blue after it but not too bad today, think the fact it's been gorgeous sunshine has probably helped. Still working my way through all the nice food as well

WheelchairWoes · 02/01/2019 18:54

Mrs Yeah the girls are 2 years and 9 days apart. LOL They are pretty easy going with celebrating their birthday together which makes things easier. BUT let me tell you. Sometimes the hormones get flying up in here and everyone is crying all about stuff lol

We've not been to the children's Museum since like.....January 2016 so it's well over time to go I think. I hope they still have the China exhibit. That was their favorite after the dinosaurs lol. I love the museum because it's super accessible.

fluffy I was so surprised at the size. Seeing the dimensions on the computer and then seeing it in real life lmao I was like 'wow I can live on that!' It will definitely make a good sleeping place for me though. Right now my kitty Balthazar is relaxing on it with me.

Psb Scuzzbuckets is a good way to describe them from the sound of it. That's horrible.

I talked to my caseworker with disability services today and she's coming to see me next week. I told her about how I was seeing the GI tomorrow and I'd be schedule the feeding tube placement. She told me her son had one fit two years ago and has had zero problems with it. It made me feel better about getting one a bit.

So our garbage collectors came by and it made me wonder. How do they do refuse collection in the UK? We put our cans out by the street and a truck comes by and the workers toss the garbage into the truck. Because we are very rural we don't have a recycling truck come by. We have to take our recycling to bins for it set at random places around the city.

Mrsmadevans · 02/01/2019 19:03

We recycle into bins here too Wheelie . They recycle most stuff in my county tbf. We put the non recyclables out every 2 weeks in a black bin bag to be collected unfortunately this goes to landfill Xmas Sad

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 02/01/2019 19:04

That will give you a boost knowing someone who had the tube and had no probs m;dear Flowers

OP posts:
WheelchairWoes · 02/01/2019 19:13

MrsI hate everything going to the landfill but with my issues I can't take recycling easily to the big bins in town. And we don't have a good vehicle we can transport them in either. Recycling sitting inside our car grosses me out for some reason and we can't have it bagged up so that makes it hard too. I wonder if there's a way to get curbside recycling in our town! I might bring it up at our town meeting soon.

And definitely! Knowing I can call my caseworker if I'm worried helps a lot. She's a very lovely lady!

Mrsmadevans · 02/01/2019 19:18

I know it is a right pita the recycling, my poor parents used to get their knickers in a twist over it but we do it all now , l do dread the day when we will be in their shoes now , it seems such a problem for them. What goes in what bag ! Xmas Grin
l am so glad you have a good caring case worker sweetie Smile
