Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@casablanca78 that’s adorable! You may have to go for a dog toy one like this 😂 although that may also be not very sensible, and very annoying if it squeaks! I’ll keep a look our for anything more suitable!

butterflymum · 10/12/2018 11:48

@Casablanca78

A book perhaps would 'fit' (pictures for him to look at and you could read it - so good for shared time together)

butterflymum · 10/12/2018 11:49

MrsCrimbo74 · 10/12/2018 11:50

Casablanca78 How about this it's a dog toy but it's only £4.99 and will be relatively soft but spiky

Thread 15 - glad my glitter pussy gets a mention
MrsCrimbo74 · 10/12/2018 11:50

Oops got beaten to it, sorry

boobybum · 10/12/2018 11:52

casablanca78 There are a few squishy hedgehog toys on amazon that have plastic spikes - not sure whether they would be spiky enough for your dc?

butterflymum · 10/12/2018 11:54

Or try Etsy or suchlike, for a child's t-shirt with a spikey hedgehog design or a book art spikey hedgehog (the latter would only realoy be for dsplay on a shelf though).

butterflymum · 10/12/2018 11:55

@MrsCrimbo74

Great find. That and a book might be good together.

Casablanca78 · 10/12/2018 12:06

@NotReve and @MrsCrimbo74 - I bloody love you guys, you are amazing - that’s perfect!
Thanks everyone else also - I’ll have a look at the books and tshirts also but think the dog toy definitely fits his brief!
Oh Lordy, I’m buying my toddler a hedgehog soft toy for Christmas, FML!

Casablanca78 · 10/12/2018 12:10

I’m buying my toddler a hedgehog dog toy for Christmas even!!

recklessgran · 10/12/2018 12:10

Further to my earlier post Groomerang has now found a new home and will have moved on by morning.

Drummingisfun · 10/12/2018 12:13

Checking in, still failing to get anything for my DD and still can't find Bvlgari Aqva Marine 100ml at a sensible price. (cheapest I can find is £12 more that I paid last year!!) I need a voucher code for a perfume site but can't find any for the sites that actually stock it.

Now all the inlaws have decided we are being their pressies for kids and they are paying us back. On the plus side this mean I can choose, so no bizarre age inappropriate stuff. On the downside this means I have to choose and I'm all out of ideas!

margaritasbythesea · 10/12/2018 12:15

There's a Big Ben 3D jigsaw on amazon lightning deals at the moment.

Jammiebammie · 10/12/2018 12:37

Thanks for new thread reastie how are you feeling now?
I’ve missed a bit as still stuck in hospital with dd (and WiFi with a mind of its own!) barring any issues they’ve decided to delay her next op so hopefully we’re out for Xmas and then back in the new year - so that’s good news!

It’s dawning on me that the big day is 2 weeks tomorrow and I still have so, so much still to get — I could actually weep- - I’ve never been so disorganised - we don’t even have any decs up at home yet 🙈

drumming the cheapest I can find the 100ml is £55, you’d actually be cheaper buying 2 x 50ml, or does it have to be the big bottle? (Side note, what does it smell like? I need to find a nice aftershave for my wee dad and I’ve no time to go and actually smell any)

Iggi999 · 10/12/2018 12:37

Sorry, what is that magnetic building toy called? Can remember nothing

HeadsDownThumbsUpEveryone · 10/12/2018 12:46

Just a quick post to say thank you to RecklessGran for her kind offer of the Groomerang. I am now officially finished shopping, unless I twitch that it… Grin

MrsCrimbo74 · 10/12/2018 12:52

Drummingsifun the cheapest I can find the 100ml is £42.71 with free delivery

trockodile · 10/12/2018 12:56

@newdayblankpage - my birch boxes arrived together at the tail end of last week. I cancelled long before they arrived so I think you’d be safe cancelling the subscription now

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 10/12/2018 13:06

Drummingisfun · 10/12/2018 13:18

Thanks Those who looked for the bulgari. I paid £28 last year for a 100ml bottle!
I think I will just have to cough up Xmas Sad

It's a nice smell, but I would say its more a younger mans scent. I wouldn't buy it for my own Dad.

Spam88 · 10/12/2018 13:30

Actually I'm not done you know.

I still need a gift for my uncle. I generally just get them a little token gift - chocolate, biscuits, something like that. He's had some serious health problems this year though and has done amazingly losing weight, so I don't want to get anything edible. My auntie will be getting one of the loccitane baubles, but I'm stuck for him. Budget up to £10.

Elphaba17 · 10/12/2018 13:31

Are there any toy story toys in the Tesco sale? I was sure I saw a post somewhere the other day about a woody doll being half price but I can't find it now to double check before I take a trip there.

Vicious2018 · 10/12/2018 13:32

Tesco 50% sale has hatchibabies for £32.50.
