Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Thank you for the Landsend heads up. Just bought 5 cashmere feel mongramed scarves for my lot's stockings for ridiculous price of just over £60. Thrilled thanks.

imsorryiasked · 13/12/2018 10:41

shumway · 13/12/2018 10:43

Still not got my birchbox deal from Black Friday. And they don't respond to messages.

AbagailsFancy · 13/12/2018 10:45

hoopdeloop · 13/12/2018 10:45

I need some help, looking for a present for a 2 year old girl and a 17 year old girl. Limit is £10 but obviously want to look like I’ve been extravagant Wink

thaegumathteth · 13/12/2018 10:50

@shesabelter one for dd just as an extra wee gift in the make up bag and one for her friend.

trixymalixy · 13/12/2018 10:54

Thank you SO much for the landsend discount code!! I'd been trying to find nice personalised blankets for my kids and had discounted landsend as too expensive. just bought them the lovely herringbone blankets with their initials on!

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 13/12/2018 10:59

glad i'm not the only one who has twitched in the LOL hairgoals dolls....

SymphonyofShadows · 13/12/2018 11:47

Had an email from Birchbox today cancelling my order on the November deal. Pretty shitty that they overstretched and can’t fulfil but from what previous posters have said I may have dodged a load of crap.

Fork2fork · 13/12/2018 11:56

Anyone else had an Accessorize despatch email? PayPal is showing pending, it's not going to happen is it? Thank you sharing the offer with us anyway

Mary1935 · 13/12/2018 12:08

Hi anyone got any ideas on what to buy my Nigerian colleague for £10 as it’s a secret Santa gift. I’ve absolutely no idea what she likes and I’m a bit wary re toiletries or make up. Thanks

Huffabook · 13/12/2018 12:22

Hi, I usually spend loads of time on this thread, but haven't so much this year 😞

However, I am in need of a little help / advice for Fortnite mad 11yr old... I saw the deepfreeze thing on hers a while ago and he has mentioned it to me, but I'm just not sure if it's good or worth the money?

How do you present Fortnite VBucks etc and what is the best thing to get please?!

ToastyFingers · 13/12/2018 12:26

I ordered from accessorize, but not the super bargain scarves or ponchos and my order is still pending so they might just be swamped.

I thought I was done but alas not,
My dad has asked me what to get DD, who is 3 and I'm totally stuck. She already has loads of toys and plays with her sisters too.

She likes small toys she can hold in her hand, paw patrol, DC superhero girls, and general mischief making. Looking to spend around £40 but would love a bargain. Any ideas, you wise festive folk?

Lovemusic33 · 13/12/2018 12:40

Toasty my niece is 3.5 and has started asking for shopkins, they are small, perfect for carrying around and they do playsets and small dolls. My daughter collected them for a while and still plays with them now. Also they have new polly pockets out which are great for carrying around.

Cheesycheesytwist · 13/12/2018 12:43

I've had a text from DHL to say they're delivering a package from monsoon (ie accessorize) tomorrow!! So they aren't cancelling them by the looks of it! I did two orders but only had online text so far...

DanceDanceDance80 · 13/12/2018 12:48

Hi, does anyone have a voucher code for the entertainer? I've got a few things in my basket and really don't want to pay full price.
Thanks!

margaritasbythesea · 13/12/2018 12:51

Thanks for the Land's End code. It takes 50% off sale stuff too. Got dd a flippy sequin daschund sweatshirt for 9.50, some sale dresses at half the sale price and some sheepskin slippers for 25 quid for me me me!

Theonlyoneiknow · 13/12/2018 13:03

LOL Hair Goals! I can't see where to pre-order on the Smyths page? DD really doesn't need one but I know would be so excited to get one in her stocking!

DeezMutts · 13/12/2018 13:09

You can pre order from The Entertainer here Xmas Smile

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 13/12/2018 13:14

That baking hamper is fab! I adore Nigel Slater's book (cannot watch him on TV though, slime-tastic)

My secret santa is an ardent gender critical radical feminist. Vegan.

Or, heeeeeelp!

Drummingisfun · 13/12/2018 13:18

If anyone needs an idea for a small child who loves baby dolls, this morning I received the doll carrier that I ordered for my girl.
It's a Lenny Lamb full buckle carrier and the quality is amazing, it's just a dinky version of the proper adult carrier. I'm so impressed, it's made of proper beautiful wrap fabric and everything.

I ordered from 'It's a Sling Thing' because they had the widest selection of patterns in stock. It's not exactly bargainous but I do think it is really good value for money if your child will play with it.

bigarse1 · 13/12/2018 13:25

@Fairylightfurore, she had something similar to that before. I think it needs to be a ds, just confused by which one we need or what would be a good price? thanks

gaggiagirl · 13/12/2018 13:27

@BookMeOnTheSudExpress what about an 'adult human female' t shirt and a smash the patriarchy travel mug?

Drummingisfun · 13/12/2018 13:37

@bookmeonthesudexpress

Can you get her a gender neutral ardent feminist radical vegan cookbook?

choccybiscuit · 13/12/2018 13:47
