Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@LokiBear another one seconding dock and bay either towel or they do an adult towel poncho think they're still 25% off for Black Friday weekend

Elphaba17 · 26/11/2018 22:15

Thanks for all the our generation links earlier, i was really hoping to get a deal on it as it's not one of her main presents but that doesn't look likely.

Decathlon have free delivery until midnight. I just ordered some sports kit for DD so it's nice to save the delivery charge for a change.

BrightonBB · 26/11/2018 22:26

Decathlon - there is an option to collect from Asda stores - not sure if it is free or not but can be handy.

PinkDaydreams · 26/11/2018 22:27

Has anyone seen any photo card offers? I need a birthday card for Saturday!

PinkDaydreams · 26/11/2018 22:43

Thanks for the dock and bay discount code! I think I’ve messed up though, ordered the rainbow striped but then realised it’s a beach towel? Is that going to be too big for swimming? I wanted something small to go in my swim bag each week

PinkDaydreams · 26/11/2018 22:45

Or should I have ordered the classic?? I’m confused by them now! Confused

Elpheba · 26/11/2018 22:47

Don’t worry @pinkdaydreams they fold up super small- beach towel size comes in a little pouch that is around the size of a paperback book.

Elpheba · 26/11/2018 22:49

Just checked mine was the Large 160cm x 80 cm- not sure how that compares. But they won’t be enormous.

PinkDaydreams · 26/11/2018 22:52

That’s fab thank you! That’s the same size I’ve ordered. Managed to find on the FAQ that the different names are just the colour range, silly really! Also says that a small won’t wrap around the body so I’m glad I’ve ordered the large.
Thanks for your help! Flowers

Who can tell me about the Kano Harry Potter coding wand? I've got DS's main present already but I've literally just found out this exists and I think he would love it. Such a dilemma!!!

ShoppingBasket · 26/11/2018 23:05

Thanks so much for the amazon warehouse, just bought a fire 10 64gb for 93 pounds! The one on main website is 129. Delighted!

WaitWhatOh · 26/11/2018 23:12

Moonpig has a buy one get one free card offer today. No idea how long deal is on but enabled me to get a free birthday photo card with a photo Christmas card Smile

Asj0405 · 26/11/2018 23:19

@Iheartkingthistle I've had my eye on the kano harry potter for ages. It looks like it can be used on either a tablet or computer and teaches kids at a very basic level to code. They end up bieng able to carry out various spells from the film on the tablet/computer using their wand. It's got some great reviews my daughter will love it. I bought one today as it's been reduced by £20. If you use my link on the referrals thread you also get a £10 amazon voucher as do I so it effectively reduces the cost to £69.99

PinkDaydreams · 26/11/2018 23:19

I’ll have a nosey on the site, thank you!

yumyumpoppycat · 26/11/2018 23:30

@cheesycheesytwist - my 13 year old got some mini ugears sets at winter wonderland this weekend and has been really keen. It's actually cheaper to buy them there as save on postage! This is their website ugears.online/products/bike-build-your-own-moving-model-by-ugears and john lewis also sell a couple of sets.

SockEatingMonster · 26/11/2018 23:38

I’m glad the Amazon Warehouse discount was useful.

I’m usually very impressed by the condition of items & packaging (I tend to buy Very Good), but did end up with a very battered Nerf gun box once, so complained with a photo and was offered a full refund, or partial refund if I wanted to keep it. I couldn’t afford to buy it full price and knew DS would love it, so I took the partial refund, wrapped it, then scuffed the paper up a bit, added a few streaks of mud and exclaimed “goodness, looks like that one fell from the sleigh” when he opened it. He thought it was very amusing! With hindsight, I wish I’d left it laying in the garden!

Usually they look pretty similar to new though!

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 26/11/2018 23:46

Thanks for the boardgame ideas. Will see if I can find them in store this week.

PinkDaydreams · 26/11/2018 23:53

I couldn’t seem to find the moonlig offer but funkypigeon are offering 50% off everything 😊

TittyBoneGhoul · 26/11/2018 23:57

Checking in, loving the thread title 🥕

Cheesycheesytwist · 26/11/2018 23:58

Ruddy hell, I've missed a couple of threads!

Anyone know of a fine and course ice crusher?

Dc are nearly done, dm done. So my brother and family is next on my list!

The Amazon Beauty Advent Calendar [[https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07GL7NKSW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_omo.BbRWY8M3F?tag=mumsnetforum-21 Amazon advent calendar]] is reduced to £30. The reviews are not and miss but there are a couple of full size items. Hope it's of use to someone.
