Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Thxs for the threads reastie Hope you feel better soon.

For anyone looking for Star Wars, Harry Potter or gaming merch then Zavvi have got some fab bits in their Cyber Monday sale. Using Code CM30 takes 30% off and 99 delivery. Super chuffed as got some gaming stuff for my DC.

Jammiebammie spotted a smashing Stranger Things unusual pencil case (think it was on page 6 of their cyber monday deals) if you still looking for stuff. Thought be gd as a make up type bag so bought for DN.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 26/11/2018 14:26

margaritasbythesea can you link to La La Land shop please as I'm having trouble finding it because of the film of the same name popping up on all the searches.

I seem to remember seeing it before (quirky gifts IIRC) and fancy another look with the 50% off

SheStoodInTheStorm · 26/11/2018 14:29

I am really trying to avoid buying things I don't need...but I can't resist this thread!

Mumofanarchy · 26/11/2018 14:32

Can anyone recommend a photo cushion, I’m wary of terrible quality but as it’s for a secret Santa don’t want to spend too much, £10 budget!

PamelaPatricia · 26/11/2018 14:34

@TheDrsDocMartens Our local Wilko store is very small and rarely stocks the bargains I see online. I generally order online and then opt to collect in store. It's a free service and delivery to store is often quicker than the standard postal service.

margaritasbythesea · 26/11/2018 14:35

LalaLand Here you go

Just here to mention that the official Schleich website has 25% off individual figures (so dinosaurs, horses, animals etc but not sets) with code Cyber25.

Free p&p over £30 (which is like, 3 figures given the price of Schleich!)

PamelaPatricia · 26/11/2018 14:40

For those of you doing Elf on the Shelf next month, The Works have a large selection of their own brand Naughty Elf stuff. This includes reward charts, clothes, etc - prices start from £1.

If you spend over £10 the code CYBER will give you 25% off.

There is also free click and collect or free delivery when spending £20. I have also found The Works to be very reliable for cashback on sites like Quidco, TopCashback, and KidStart.

I also noticed a Weight Watchers fryer thing for £49.99, which I think looks like something someone mentioned they were looking for.

AlbusPercival · 26/11/2018 14:43

Ok I gave one person left to buy for.

Not good toiletries or make up

Woman in 30s.

Not clothing.

Budget £20, ideally easy to post.

I’m so stuck

Eatsleepworkrepeat · 26/11/2018 14:48

albus that's a tricky one! What does she like? Stationary, like a moleskine journal or something?

I'm nearly done, just holding out for a couple more bargains. Was going to get my nephew a cbeebies magazine subscription but it's so expensive, I'm sure it works out twice as much as buying it in a shop. Does anyone know any ways to get it cheaper?

Lacypants · 26/11/2018 14:48

@DeezMutts that is EXACTLY what I needed, THANK YOU SO MUCH Flowers

margaritasbythesea · 26/11/2018 14:54

Book, Albus?

I always wish someone would buy me the Prize list as it´s soemthing I would like to read but would never buy myself. 25% off at the Book People today with code CYBER25

AlbusPercival · 26/11/2018 15:00

Sorry another question.

Anywhere with a discount on Lanka Kade animals?

Justyou · 26/11/2018 15:06

Obama llama £15 on amazon if that’s a good price?

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 26/11/2018 15:07

Thank you margaritasbythesea - I didn't realise there was a "living in" bit in the website name which was why I couldn't find it. D'oh!

Offredismysister · 26/11/2018 15:13

@MinoRsole Yes you do, but you don’t need to have a shop or business, the individual membership criteria ranges from NHS workers to banking & post office workers. Almost anyone can get one.

And, it might not be worth it if you don’t want 7.5ft or taller. I saw a tiny 4.5ft, a 7.5ft & a 12ft in there today, no 6 or 6.5ft.

Offredismysister · 26/11/2018 15:16

I got this one 😊

One for Irish bargain hunters: Tesco has 390g Lily O Briens Ultimate Collection chocolates (€15 on Lily’s website) for €3.68. The bb is feb 19, so not long dated but still respectably after Christmas. Right beside it with a yellow sticker was the 190g box for €8 which was €2 off.

I’m feeling less grumpy now about the Green&Blacks bargains.

FallenSky · 26/11/2018 15:38

Thanks for the new thread 🎄

I'm looking for a doctor barbie doll. Doesn't have to be an official Barbie one, just one with a white coat and/or a stethoscope if anyone sees one that doesn't cost the earth.

margaritasbythesea · 26/11/2018 15:39

Can anyone recommend a make your own cracker kit. I just don't fancy the same old stuff another year.

SheStoodInTheStorm · 26/11/2018 15:46

Any ideas for a 6yo boy - Mum has suggested book or activity to help with learning and I'm at a loss!

neddle · 26/11/2018 15:48

@dancemom on this website you can get a tree decoration with a name on for £3 and they also have shopping bags and cushions for your friend.

Wiifitmama · 26/11/2018 15:49

Any herbal tea bargains out there. Ds2 loves them and has been raising my supply for a while. I thought it would be nice to get him his own selection box of sachets to keep in his room.

Prizepudding · 26/11/2018 15:55

Mumofanarchy, I’m sure someone mentioned on the last thread about boots doing photos cushions on offer, I have had other things from boots photo before and quality is always good. Website seems to indicate code BFHPSF8 gets 50% off when spending a minimum £5
