Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Oops. Trigger happy! I think the Gaynors' price is the best one if so. Have you checked for Cashback on Quidco etc?

SleeptightDaisy · 26/11/2018 18:52

@NoWordForFluffy yes that's the one thanks

NoWordForFluffy · 26/11/2018 18:54

Actually Go Outdoors have it at £194 and there's usually good Cashback too.

SleeptightDaisy · 26/11/2018 19:06

Hill and dale also do it for £194 delivered so will probably end up getting one from there. The go outdoors nearest us doesn't have any and the ones that do won't deliver for some reason.

Wiifitmama · 26/11/2018 19:12

Thanks for the Twinnings suggestion. I wasn't hugely impressed with their sale though. The ones with big 50% off were all short date. The other herbals were only 10-20% off. Lots of loose teas or green teas. Not much my son would drink. I DO however appreciate that you made a suggestion for me! Just not impressed with what they are offering!

QOD · 26/11/2018 19:14

Ah monkeyface that’s so nice!
What a lovely mn’er

Wonder if someone will send me that hard to find Tiffany necklace I need

Snort

AlexanderHamilton · 26/11/2018 19:15

No problem.

Last summer Lidl sold a lovely wooden tea box (like the kind you get in hotels) & I bought one for dd to keep all her fruit & green teas in but she left it behind when she went to stay somewhere. They've not had them in since.

Asj0405 · 26/11/2018 19:19

Glossybox down to £60 here using code CYBER60

eitak22 · 26/11/2018 19:20

Anyone wanting Lottie dolls theres a brownie canoing set for £14 on lightening deals down from £35.

ritzbiscuits · 26/11/2018 19:25

@Wiifitmama Have a look on Amazon at English Tea Shop Tins. They have individually wrapped packets of tea in all sorts of lovely flavours.

gigglingHyena · 26/11/2018 19:34

@Cheesycheesytwist

Promarkers, they are felt pens which you can blend the colours. If you have a look on ebay you can usually pick up a set of 12 for around £10. DD got a set for her birthday this year and has already used them loads.

You need thickish paper to get the most of them, something like this
www.amazon.co.uk/Goldline-Marker-Bleedproof-Sheets-White/dp/B002120I70/?tag=mumsnetforum-21

debbiewest0 · 26/11/2018 19:38

I went onto the Lottie website and in the offers section, there is lotties wardrobe. It’s nine outfits for £78 on offer. But then if you use the blackfriday30 code it makes them £54.95 and free delivery. Not cheap for dolls clothes but cheaper than buying them individually?

Astronaut set is £12 on amazon and the others are £9.50 so a good saving if you wanted a bundle or to separate into different kids gifts at six pounds each with the Lottie dolls that are on lightning deals lately.

Makes a good gift about £16 for a young child of a doll and spare outfit....

Polkapjs · 26/11/2018 19:48

Any ideas for an adult female with learning difficulties? Budget about £10. Usually buy PJs, no toiletries - maybe a hoodie but is £10 ambitious ?

ja9r · 26/11/2018 19:50

@honeydragon

Love the lock picking idea!

Polkapjs · 26/11/2018 19:50

I mention learning g difficulties in case there’s something amazing out there that you have experience of. I have a very close relative with but she’s very very specific in gift choices
