Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

walkingintherain23 · 30/11/2018 17:46

Code for free delivery on items dispatched by Amazon. FREEDELIVERY Valid until 5th December

weescottish · 30/11/2018 17:57

Ordered the free batteries too, thanks for that!

GoodnightMooncup · 30/11/2018 18:00

@FrederickCreeding we do a similar kind of advent calendar. One thing that the dc love is a little treasure hunt, where the first clue is inside the advent calendar. It's useful if you want to give them something which is too big to fit inside the calendar.

If anybody spots Google Chromest 3s on offer, please could they shout?

They’re usually £30, were down to £20 in Argos the week before Nlavk Friday (I was hoping to use my nectar points in Sainsbury’s double up and my Store was out of stock, was hoping I’d see a good blank Friday etc deal and completely forgot).

They all seem to be back up at about £30 plus so if anyone does spot them back down at £20 (or even lower Xmas Grin ) it would be very much appreciated!

Have reported my post - I think I've used a personal etsy profile.
This is the correct one.
correct link

bertdynamite · 30/11/2018 18:14

God, I am hopeless at this. The link I've posted to is to limerick mugs on etsy. I ordered one for my secret santa, it's arrived today and i'm really happy with the quality. When I've just looked now to do the link the seller is doing a personalised service too.

Does anyone know of a decent smart watch compatible with an iPhone 6? Can’t afford an apple one...it’s for ds (12)

PurpleSock · 30/11/2018 18:19

Thanks for the esspresso martini suggestions! Trip to m&s or Aldi this weekend it is!

yumyumpoppycat · 30/11/2018 18:23

Yankee candles - as an alternative to the offer on amazon, Clintons have 30% off lots of the christmas yankee candle gift sets and the advent calendar is half price £12.50, this also works with the code SPEND50NOV for £10 off a £50 spend. There are other things with reductions such as snow globes. We have got one of the light up ones - ok it's a bit tacky but so pretty at night so have bought another for my mum as a present.

BellsaRinging · 30/11/2018 18:29

Purplesock Aldi also have espresso martini marshmallows!

Casablanca78 · 30/11/2018 18:31

If anyone’s looking for the sock game (which sold out everywhere after winning on Philip Schofields top toys) then its available to pre order on Amazon for delivery 14th Dec. Even better the price has now dropped to £14.99! I cancelled my original order at £19.99 and reordered!

Redken24 · 30/11/2018 18:42

Looking for some stocking fillers - cheap hair clasps etc for a toddler.
No pound shop near me

DelurkingAJ · 30/11/2018 18:51

Thank you for the heads up re Aldi. DS1 has been aggitating for a new one but I was holding out as he had one (too big but...). For £5.99 each DSs can have matching ones!

Notlongnow1 · 30/11/2018 19:07

You'd have to start a couple of days late now but... Lovehoney's 50 shades advent calendar is down to £80 from £200. And if you happen to be a regular customer (rumour has it, clearly I would never indulge in such things!) you probably have 25% off on account to make it £60!

NotReve · 30/11/2018 19:12

Thank you for the free batteries tip!

Choconuts · 30/11/2018 19:23

Elemis have got £10 off and free delivery with code XMAS10. I managed to get a hand wash delivered for £5 - there is also a choice of 1 free sample per order!

MrsCrimbo74 · 30/11/2018 19:34

DieDieFrickenDie I don’t want any money for it. I heard recently the nicest thing you can do is do something kind for someone you’ll never meet. PM your address and I’ll post it first thing Monday. I hope your DS loves it. Merry Christmas x

thaegumathteth · 30/11/2018 19:42

Thanks for the free batteries straight after the live honest post has made me laugh

thaegumathteth · 30/11/2018 19:43

Live honest???? Love honey

TamiTayorismyparentingguru · 30/11/2018 19:47

thaegumathteth - it really depends on what functionality you want the smart watch to have. If you want one that tracks activity and also have calls/texts coming through on it then one of the best at a decent price is the Garmin Forerunner 35. I have it, as does DS (14). We both run so for us the activity tracker/heart rate monitor/GPS was important. I have a friend who used to have one until her husband bought her an Apple Watch which she now wears. She has said regularly though that she actually preferred her Garmin, and it’s generally accepted wisdom that there is a very good reason why at the start of road races more runners are wearing Garmins than anything else. We paid £120 for DS’s when he got his - £130 for mine - they were good prices at the time. Not sure what they’re averaging at just now.

TamiTayorismyparentingguru · 30/11/2018 19:48

Redken24 try Asda or Sainsbury’s - my local stores always have little things like that reduced.

Iggi999 · 30/11/2018 19:52

Ds has finally written his Santa list and top of it is a bloody Apple Watch!!!! I had mentally set aside £200 is that even achievable?
