Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@MrsCrimbo74 my DS has a Wii U and has Sing Party with a microphone on his Christmas List. (He's not getting it because I've already gotten Just Dance!) What would you like for it?Would you accept a PayPal payment?

25% off at Dorothy Perkins online at the moment

PurpleSock · 30/11/2018 14:04

Has anyone got any suggestions or recommendations for an espresso martini related gift thats under £10 please (preferable including alcohol)?

My work secret Santa and I have been told she loves esspresso martinis, i think it's just about the only cocktail I can't find a gift set for!

I have seen Smirnoff do a coffee flavoured vodka which would also be good but can only find in in 70cl size which is £15 minimum

BlueOooChristmas · 30/11/2018 14:05

Are there any offers still to be had on the Amazon Fire Kids tablets?

Twisique · 30/11/2018 14:14

Has anyone seen any Pandora offers? Or, any good ideas for a 14 year old?

andadietcoke · 30/11/2018 14:17

purplesock slightly over, and god knows what it smells like, but a bit different...

Otherwise maybe a nice pair of martini glasses? Or some of those reusable ice cubes she could use in a shaker to cool the coffee down?

@PurpleSock M&S sells bottles of espresso martini. I can't find it online (their food and drink stuff isn't often on there, I don't think) but I've definitely seen it in store and am sure it's about a tenner.

PunkAssMoFo · 30/11/2018 14:37

@purplesock martini set

Slightly late to the advent calendar party Blush but if you're near a Dobbies they have Lego City, Lego Friends and Lego Star Wars advent calendars on sale for half price (should be £22.99). I used a £5 voucher that they sent as I'm part of their reward club, and bagged two for £18. I was so excited that I thought I'd reward myself with one of the free hot drinks that also comes with my memembership Grin

If you have family or friends near a Dobbies garden centre, a membership would make a great gift - for something like £10 per year you get two free hot drinks every month, vouchers, 10% off plants and seeds and they do 20% off weekends every now and again as well. Well worth looking into!

Help please [santa] I need 3 giant Christmas crackers for 1st thing Monday morning. Needs to be filled with the usual toy, hat and joke. No ‘brands’ and as cheap as possible please!

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/11/2018 15:09

Would the Kano Harry potter be good for an 11 year old who has done some coding. Also what's the referral offer please?

passremarkable · 30/11/2018 15:12

anyone on O2 - they're doing free batteries on the loyalty app, with free delivery

Asj0405 · 30/11/2018 15:26

@lifelongfrugaleer trusted reviews give a general overview here.

The referral reward is a £10 Amazon voucher. The kit is reduced from £99.99 to £79.99 at the minute and then you get sent the £10 voucher once you have purchased. The person who referred also gets a voucher. I would think anyone that's into harry potter will enjoy it.

My link is here I think someone else posted one on the referrals thread too

Asj0405 · 30/11/2018 15:26

Giant Christmas crackers try home bargains sure I saw some in there for £4-5

Asj0405 · 30/11/2018 15:29

ICEFIVE gets you £5 off £30 spend at Iceland for new customers

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 30/11/2018 15:33

purplesock Lakelad do an Espresso Martini Caramel sauce £4.99 and Espresso Martini Popcorn £3.29 if you want something different!

margaritasbythesea · 30/11/2018 15:37

I saw giant crackers in Home Bargains too.

MrsCrimbo74 - that´s a really nice offer. I hope someone takes you up on it.

scrappydappydoo · 30/11/2018 15:39

Oh thank you - I’ll go and investigate!

NoWordForFluffy · 30/11/2018 15:42

@passremarkable, thanks for the heads up, I've already stocked up, but 4 more is good!

EverybodyKeepCool · 30/11/2018 15:48

@purplesock Aldi have espresso liqueur for about £7 and home Bargains have no e glasses for about £1.50

EverybodyKeepCool · 30/11/2018 15:49

Obviously no e should say nice...

PinkBuffalo · 30/11/2018 15:56

Thought I'd just share what I got today with everyone.
Poundstretcher had a lot of their toys out, and got my niece (unicorn fan) a 16 piece set of a pony unicorn family including baby unicorns!
Even better, was marked up at £14.99 but on offer at £9.99!
It's very cute & I think the 4 year old will love it. It's marked as ages 3+

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/11/2018 15:57

Thank you. I will look at the reviews and check out our spec on the laptop

onedayatatime73 · 30/11/2018 16:24

Every year I have bought personalised photo stamps from Royal Mail - ie girls school photo made into actual stamps for first class postage. Can't find them now. Anyone else ever done this? Such an amazing and cheap present for grandparents but now can't find joe to do it!

TheDrsDocMartens · 30/11/2018 16:52

My dd(8) loves her garmain jr. We got the first version reduced when the second came out. Tracks sleep/steps/active mins. Didn’t need anything else but the reward button works on her.

beadyboo · 30/11/2018 17:16

Just taken a look at the hygge headbands. They look fab and though it’s a fantastic deal, I really don’t need 4. At the risk of sounding greedy, does anyone know a code for free or reduced delivery? The extra £3.99 bumps the price up a fair bit.
