Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

I have a £5 off code for Hotel Chocolate I won't use, if it might help someone
Min £20 spend, not sure if it's linked to my account, but thought it would be worth a try
PM me if you want it

WardrobeDoor · 29/11/2018 10:23

Thanks so much @dementedma for the Hygge Bands deal. I’ve been wanting one for ages, now I’ll have 4!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 29/11/2018 10:26

@hoopdeloop thank you I've just ordered the playmobil calendar for ds3. I had already reserved and paid at Argos but I'll go get it refunded tomorrow.

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 29/11/2018 10:29

I know I have mentioned it before and I swear I don't work for them but the reduce cold 1 bottles are amazing. Over the summer the ice cubes stayed as ice over night. And at £3 a complete bargain. The drink also doesn't make the outside of the cup or bottle hot/ cold.
The customer service is shockingly bad but the products are fab.

lauryloo · 29/11/2018 10:53

@BeauticianNotMagician81 - if you did it with fastrack you can just cancel it online through your account. I had to do it last week when i reserved something at the wrong store.

DillieDoily · 29/11/2018 11:05

Has anyone seen a double/twin dolls pram suitable for a tall 4 year old?

WisestIsShe · 29/11/2018 11:06

@Scoleah thanks for the advent calendar. My best friend needed cheering up and that's just the thing!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 29/11/2018 11:06

@lauryloo fab thank you. Saves me a trip tomorrow. Does the refund just go back onto the card in a few days? I think I've done it.

lauryloo · 29/11/2018 11:15

Yes, just a few days as normal.

shumway · 29/11/2018 11:28

Fat face are giving away a free pair of socks with every order. Works even with sale items.

winterisstillcoming · 29/11/2018 11:32

@TimeForMy10thCuppa , could you give me a link for those bottles, I need to add a couple of extra bits to presents and these sound perfect x

maybeitsbecauseim · 29/11/2018 11:42

@TheGirlWhoLived - bit left field but have you looked at a tricycle for your daughter? They are not just for toddlers - come in bigger kid sizes and adults too. I know someone with sight/balance problems who has one. It’s super stable so can’t fall off but still all the benefits of a bike.

TheGirlWhoLived · 29/11/2018 11:50

Thanks! A tricycle is something to consider but I don’t know how she would feel about one! She’s a skinny little thing so will probably end up on the unicorn too Grin chromebook looks like a goer- she can always upgrade in a couple of years to something faster when she needs it. Thanks!

lookingforbaubles · 29/11/2018 12:00

@dementedma thank you- i shall have warm ears while walking the dog!

LokiBear · 29/11/2018 12:09

Chromebooks are brilliant. Im a secondary school teacher and they are replacing our laptops and desktops with Chromebooks. Dd7 gets so much use out of hers and, because she uses them at school, she logs in with her school account and has access to all of their educational programmes.

fleshmarketclose · 29/11/2018 12:11

If anyone sees any bargains on Invictus Paco Rabanne please post them. It's ds2's favourite fragrance but over £50 is a bit over budget when I've got him quite a stash already.

shumway · 29/11/2018 12:35

50% off selected beauty gifts at Marks & Spencer.

newusernameforxmas · 29/11/2018 12:49

Sorry Dramallama, I should have mentioned to order one at a time. I did 10 painful individual orders - and they were all sent together anyway!

Thanks for all the nutcracking Nutcracker recommendations. I'm going to look in TKMaxx this weekend and if no joy I'll get him the Lego version.

Hype have some backpacks on sale from £12.50: www.justhype.co.uk/last-chance/shopby/backpack?dir=asc&limit=72&order=price

dementedma · 29/11/2018 13:09

Glad the Hygge link is useful. It’s a huge saving and all 3 dcs will be happy- plus one for me

Drummingisfun · 29/11/2018 13:38

My DD has requested a backpack with butterflies and flowers on it. I guess she means cartoony rather than a cath kidston type of thing. It's only for her spare clothes and stuff at nursery so need something not too expensive.
Anyone seen anything or know where is good for that sort of thing. Bonus if it actually has straps that go short enough for a 3 yo.

choccybiscuit · 29/11/2018 13:45

Wwyd, they had official fortnite goods in primark advertised in the window

AnnPerkins · 29/11/2018 13:47

Personwithnoname I just came to mention the £5 Morrisons Tinc advent calendars. They still have plenty in our local store.

Just wanted to also point out they are the 2017 calendars, not 2018.

imsorryiasked · 29/11/2018 13:56

@Drummingisfun would a gym bag do rather than a backpack? Tyrrell katz do this one
Matching lunch bag but not a rucksack.

DelurkingAJ · 29/11/2018 14:07

Muji London is a collectors item? Good grief! May have to rescue that from the DC’s Brio box (where I shoved it to be scenery).

Rockhopper81 · 29/11/2018 14:16

I know the poster looking for the plastic cup has reserved an awesome rabbit one now, but I saw these in Home Bargains and thought I’d share if anyone is looking for a festive cup!
