Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

hopefully this link will work for the nerf guns!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 28/11/2018 22:30

@trixymalixy thank you. I wanted to get six. There were 5 of them playing it on the show last night

Thank you @Asj0405 and @Sneezein3s I now have the Harry Potter Great Hall ordered. Just hope it doesn't go down in price again.

Not sure if anyone's looking for Star Wars or batman Lego these are currently on amazon.

Thank you purpletigers Lego Friends advent calendar purchased. Looking forward to making up the bits and considering taking it apart and Buddy the elf bringing new Lego every day 🙈

nowayback · 28/11/2018 22:54

Have I missed this years 'MUST HAVE' toys??

Was it last year it was the Fingerlings that were sold out everywhere?
Ive heard nothing yet so wondered if there wasnt such a thing this year. Maybe im just too organised ( thanks to this thread!) with my shopping and the manic rush to find sold out toys hasnt happened yet?

Excuse my ramblings... its been a long day!

Hallors90 · 28/11/2018 23:05

Thank you for the suggestions (sorry I cant remember how to tag names) we work in hospitality so always nice to have a little break from customers, with a silly game 😉😄

RJnomore1 · 28/11/2018 23:08

I've just seen on hotukdeaks that Asda have litre bottles of baileys for £10.

Instructed dh to go nab one for MIL tomorrow. That's her done.

yumyumpoppycat · 28/11/2018 23:08

ooh twitched on lego friends advent...thanks purpletiger (I think ;) )

yumyumpoppycat · 28/11/2018 23:12

diet coke - are you planning to deconstruct the lego calendar Shock We got a free abel and cole calendar through the door told the children to save it ... but the naughty elf might get busy on that one!

thaegumathteth · 28/11/2018 23:32

The first order star destroyer beautician linked to is great value. Ds has it.

Gardenworm · 28/11/2018 23:36

Thanks for nerf tip off. It's on back order so if they come up cheaper elsewhere in meantime can always cancel!

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 28/11/2018 23:53

@orangemouth I second travel mugs. Tk maxx do a brand called reduce -1. They are by far the best travel mug I have ever had. DH makes me a coffee before he goes to work at 7 am I eventually get round to drinking at 11 am and it's still warm. I recently bought one for a colleague and she was impressed at how good it was for only £2.99.
Or a glade nutcracker candle. Only £1.75 in Wilko and smells amazing.

Asj0405 · 29/11/2018 00:09

pinkie pie seapony £7.50

debbiewest0 · 29/11/2018 00:23

There’s a lot of bad reviews about that seapony including one of mine. It didn’t work and as soon as you touched the hair it fell out so a choking hazard- I complained and they said to bin it and I got refunded. It was not a good toy at all....

Asj0405 · 29/11/2018 00:24

Some of today's Amazon bargains
exploding kittens £14.99
babylis curler and dryer £73.99
Braun epilator better than half price £83.99

Asj0405 · 29/11/2018 00:27

Ooh so sorry about the seapony ignore that post then. I've never bought one kids have asked but it's always been one of those things I never got round to getting. I was considering with it bieng so cheap so thanks for the warning will avoid.

CupoBlood · 29/11/2018 06:16

@nowayback I agree I haven't heard about anything

DebraBarone · 29/11/2018 06:20

Hi, I've been lurking for a while and am nearly done! I'd like to buy an Tiny Treasures doll for DD, they're at Argos, does anyone know if they are cheaper anywhere else (I've had a quick google) or if Argos will do any more offers before Christmas? Thanks!

moonbabyandthebeast · 29/11/2018 07:10

20% off everything at the fragrance shop for 24 hours. Apparently works with existing discounts as well.
Also thank you to the posters for 'The night before Christmas' recommendations, they look lovely.

WWYDhelpplease · 29/11/2018 07:20

Does anyone know if there will be another 3/2 at Argos? Thanks x

Matilda2013 · 29/11/2018 07:33

I didn’t need exploding kittens. But somehow it has been ordered HmmBlush

totallyLosingIt · 29/11/2018 07:33

@TimeForMy10thCuppa I'm on the hunt for a decent travel mug for DH. I've just googled 'reduce -1 travel mug' and come up short. Are you able to find a picture of one online so I can give my sister a visual of what to look for when she's in TKMaxx later? Thank you.

WWYDhelpplease · 29/11/2018 07:35

I am looking for fortnite merchandise like a beanie hat if anyone has seen anything.

MonkeyfaceThereturn · 29/11/2018 08:04

EBay is your friend for fortnite merch.

SomethingOfTheNight · 29/11/2018 08:12

Thanks for the exploding kittens link and to those who recommended it for my 13 yr old ds.
