Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

M&S have 25% off 6 or more bottles of wine

Asj0405 · 27/11/2018 19:06

The one for asda @Simply put?

Jammiebammie · 27/11/2018 19:10

Thanks so much @thaegumathteth I’ve just bought them now! Honestly, thank you so much to everyone for helping me! I only bought the 2 for £20.99 just now but dd will be over the moon Grin

Asj0405 · 27/11/2018 19:11

The one for asda @SimplyPut?

moonbabyandthebeast · 27/11/2018 19:25

Sorry no new bargains from me but I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the poster for the Argos robes. I have been looking at the Jedi one for ages but couldn't justify the cost. I couldn't resist at £10.50 and DP is going to love it.
Also an ask please. Can anyone recommend a nice copy of 'The Night before Christmas' ? One that is not too child-like if that makes sense. Its for my mum to give to the DC with a view to it being passed down. Budget max £15-£20 but ideally cheaper. Thank you.

Asj0405 · 27/11/2018 19:39

Fragrance shop

hugo boss gift set £35 when you use code BOSS35

Versace eros gift set £18 using code EROS18

10% off makeup using BEAUTY10

MinorRSole · 27/11/2018 19:43

@Jammiebammie I love toysforapound. Some of it isn't great and actually cheaper in the range and places like that. If you're careful what you buy though you can get real bargains. I've ordered several of the same thing before and they've always sent different ones so you don't end up with all the same fnaf character for example

FoddyWaddle · 27/11/2018 19:43

Thanks to this thread I only have 1 gift left to buy! I however have no idea what to buy. So please help me. It is for a couple that can afford to buy anything they want. They are also childless and early 30s. Its a max budget of £40. Thank you

SimplyPut · 27/11/2018 19:48

If Asda @Asj0405 I can have a look. Thank you x

andadietcoke · 27/11/2018 19:48

@FoddyWaddle a food hamper? That's my plan for hard to buy for PILs.

andadietcoke · 27/11/2018 19:51

I've got a lot of LOL stocking fillers from the works - this week there was an extra 25% off with code CYBER, not sure if it's still on though.

winterisstillcoming · 27/11/2018 20:02

Thanks all I'm done! I've overbought a bit so I'll be doing some returns of things that I bought before Black Friday and will now take back.

The door bell ringing and cards through the door have started GrinGrin so I will be wrapping on Friday then tree up and card writing on Sunday and then I'm done!

Thanks for all your help. I'll be watching this thread trying not to crack open the green and blacks and trying not to twitch.

Asj0405 · 27/11/2018 20:06

@SimplyPut HP pjs yes it was these at asda not all blue but a lot of blue in them

Asj0405 · 27/11/2018 20:10

It does look like they've sold out of large size since I posted earlier though. Every size was in stock when I posted so must be selling fast. Could try your local store

Maranello · 27/11/2018 20:27

So glad you got them @Jammiebammie (and @Jammiebammie's DD!)

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 27/11/2018 20:30

Naturalblonde- I've done photobooks in the past and never had an issue so it may be apple incompatibility?

SimplyPut · 27/11/2018 20:31

@Asj0405 they would be perfect. Will try my local store tomorrow. Thank you.

Iggi999 · 27/11/2018 20:33

I picked up the Vtech toot toot advent calendar in Tesco today for DS2, which I thought was a good price
What you swapped your ds2 for the calendar? Not sure that was a bargain!!

YahBasic · 27/11/2018 20:35

Iggi- you’ve just reminded me that my Dad’s not done that joke so far.

I normally get: “I got X for your mum this year...that’s a good deal isn’t it”.

Normally while the shop assistant fake smiles Grin

Iggi999 · 27/11/2018 20:36

Was that a fake smile Yahbasic? Grin

hohosnow · 27/11/2018 20:43

@Iggi999 now you mention it, it wasn't that good a deal. I'm now one child down with a spare advent calendar on my hands Wink

Theonlyoneiknow · 27/11/2018 21:15

jammiebammie have you tried FB marketplace?

@moonbabyandthebeast Sainsbury’s had a book called The Night Bevore the Night Before Christmas’ which was nicely illustrated, similar long poem style but quite funny which might go nicely with the traditional book to extend the magic an extra day and it didn’t seem to be very expensive at all.

Notlongnow1 · 27/11/2018 21:22

Can someone remind me why we dislike IWOOT?! 5 for £20 and I'm tempted!
