I happy with bargains I got. There is one Lego set I would like to have but the price didn't drop enough. I think if I really wanted it I would have bought it with the reduced price they had. But I wanted it to be £10 less... I keep on looking what offers amazon comes out.

@BeauticianNotMagician81 I was watching the harry potter great hall and £80 was probably the best deal available most recently and I think still is.

I ended up buying it in the Argos 3 for 2s which only worked because I had to buy other big lego sets too.

If you're near Glasgow I have a set that I bought for £80 that I'm sending back to Amazon if I don't manage to sell it.

Does anyone know when Marks do there 3 for 2. I got lots of stocking fillers, crackers and wrapping paper last year. Maybe it will show in my order history.

@BeauticianNotMagician81 I think it's more likely to go out of stock than get reduced further. I would buy it now if I were you.

If you get ti from somewhere easy to return to then you can keep an eye out for a better price.

I'm struggling to find Harry Potter pyjamas for teen DS... he needs a men's large and preferably in navy. Santa likes the DC's to coordinate on Christmas morning 🙈.

I bought the ‘tipping point’ board game on Black Friday deals, it’s probably the best thing I bought, dd1 is a big game show fan and she’s obsessed with the tipping point machine 🤣 she’s probably going to be more excited about this than her main present (Nintendo switch).

I have just been wrapping presents and can say that the Keven the carrot wrapping paper is evil, I am covered in glitter, my sofa and coffe table are covered and so is the cat 😐, I gave up after wrapping 2 presents with it.

Lidls had some nice things this morning when I popped in, nice decorations, Christmas house plant thingys and small stocking fillers.

@thaegumathteth Yes, I've had an email back from WB shop now about the Harry Potter Funko Pop calendar. They say if the package is unopened (which mine is, deliberately!), I can just write "return to sender" and take it to a post office.

Otherwise they've given me an address to return it to if it's not in unopened packaging. Apparently if I arrange a courier I need to contact them first. But as it was delivered by Royal Mail, return to sender via the post office seems my best bet.

They didn't say anything about charging for returns, though I suppose they might knock something off the refund! But never mind: at least I now have one for DD, plus I really can't face the hassle of trying to sell the spare one via eBay!

Oh! I was kind of hoping we were having our annual influx of “this is a thread just for deals, there should be no chatting” or “you can get these deals on HUKD, you’re ripping them off” stompy feet, bratty whinging!

Asda have now reduce their toy advent calendars. MLP was £5 and the playmobil £15.
Aldi also have a blox and fashion one for £6.99 each.

Was going to ‘treat’ dc2 to a toy parsnip, but he made me put it back as it’s too angry!

Someone was talking about make your own cracker sets. I buy the cheapest supermarket ones I can find, untwist them and add my own presents. Much cheaper than any kit I’ve ever found!

Thanks for everyone for thinking of me with the stranger things advent - I was actually really chuffed with Claire’s sale, got 5 of the mystery minis (£8 each on amazon) , 4 ST pens, rose gold hoop earring and 2 beanie boos for £40 delivered (50% sale, on top WEL20 gives 20% off some things for new customers, and the beanie boos were buy one get one for a quid) Only 5 more things to get now for the advent, but think I’ll get crafty with my vinyl machine for those.

Ended up buying PS4 pro yesterday from Argos, only saved £30 I think but I’m glad as they went back up today and a lot of places were out of stock. Dh said we had to get the red or dead redemption bundle as apparently that had a different version of PS4 which was quieter than the others (I just nodded with a glazed look on my face...) just to find a good deal on the psvr and games now.
