Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@LokiBear if you just want one doll then worth looking here

LokiBear · 22/09/2018 09:32

Thanks both. Smyths look like the cheapest for OG anyway so I will definitely wait for their offer. Dd7 bought a doll with the money her great grandma for her birthday and my neice loves it, as does my other dd who will be almost 2 at Christmas. I think I will easily spend £50+ as dd7 also wants the hairdressing chair. Im considering getting dd2 a doll juat so she leaves her sister's doll alone.

Just checking in....

weelis02 · 22/09/2018 10:19

Random Christmas present request but does anybody know where I can get a bag/pack of marbles? Quite a big bag but not online. Can't think of what shops would have them?

Stripy29 · 22/09/2018 10:21

Weelis02 I've seen big bag of marbles in the works before so worth looking there.

SimplyPut · 22/09/2018 10:22

My Lisa Angel order arrived. If I had paid full price I would have been disappointed but decent for the price I paid.

torthecatlady · 22/09/2018 10:30

Checking in...

I'm going real life shopping today and hope to get a few presents sorted while I'm out! May have to pop into M&S to see if there's any alcohol left too Grin

weelis02 · 22/09/2018 10:32

Thanks @Stripy29, il have a nose there

KitKatCHA · 22/09/2018 10:33

Blaze and the Monster Machines playset reduced from £50 to £20, has really good reviews.

My niece has one of these Crayola Colour Wonder Light Up Stamper and they're brilliant, no mess at all! Just ordered one as they're half price at the minute

ismellsnow · 22/09/2018 10:33

Looking for some help please!

My DS6 has developed a sudden interest in Lego and already has a few sets to be getting on with but the Lego pieces are lying around everywhere and driving me mad! Could some wise people recommend the best storage ideas for Lego as he's going to be asking for more for Christmas and I reckon that will break me 😩

WoahBodyforrrrm · 22/09/2018 10:48

Worth looking in TK Maxx for an OG doll, I’ve seen them quite regularly in there, more so in the run up to Xmas.

If anyone sees a Fuggler (funny ugly monster) for less then £15 please give me a shout. It seems like they’re only available in the UK from the entertainer and I’d rather not spend £15 on one though my son would love his own ugly one!

SimplyPut · 22/09/2018 11:01

ismellsnow we have ikea klax 4 cube unit with tubs just for Lego. We also have four of these. Home Bargains had them for £17.99 each the other day.

Not a bargain as such, but my DS recieved a box or brownies from Betty's this morning and they give free delivery with code FESTIVE on orders over £40.
Not bargainous at all but the brownies he's received were delicious and everything was beautifully packaged. It was a really special treat.

@WoahBodyforrrrm Smyths have them in store I seen. They are horrible , I wouldn’t want to hug a fuggler at bedtime 😂 they have some online too, not as many as I seen though. If they do 20% off event or vouchers for money off which happen frequently that might help?

LikeSilver · 22/09/2018 11:25

Can somebody more techy than me help me please?

My DD is really into her music and I was thinking I’d get her an iPod for Christmas. I know you can no longer buy an iPod Nano but I’m reluctant to get the iPod touch as she’s only 6 and I don’t want her accessing the internet unsupervised. What are my options - I currently have an Apple Music trial on my phone and am happy to continue to pay for it if it’s compatible with something she can use in her room. No idea if a Dot or Alexa would work? Please help tech savvy people! Flowers

Singingitoverandoverandover · 22/09/2018 11:25

£5 for all nip+fab makeup , free delivery over £10 and free glycolic fix pads with every order

LokiBear · 22/09/2018 11:27

Kit Kat thank you for the magic crayola link. My littlest neice is sorted now!

DaisyChops · 22/09/2018 11:34

I'm not clever enough to do a link but spotted mr men / little miss brainbox on amazon for £4.99, bargain as usually about a tenner

SockEatingMonster · 22/09/2018 11:48

Oh my goodness, thank you, thank you, thank you to all the people who’ve recommended Primark. I’d never have thought to check, but have picked up loads of stocking fillers.

@bertdynamite I noticed a couple of k-pop things in the beauty section. I’ll try and post pics. Not sure if that’s the sort of thing you had in mind?

I’d second primark for stocking fillers. Alongside my Harry Potter reductions I noticed there were hundreds of reduced to 50p/£1 things in the beauty section. False nails, make up, hair accessories, jewellery sets, bath products etc.

SecretLimonadeDrinker · 22/09/2018 12:37

Poundland have lots of the newer Mr Men and Little Miss books.

ismellsnow · 22/09/2018 12:38

@SimplyPut thanks, those look great!

LostMyRubySlippers · 22/09/2018 12:47

bodyforrrrm you can join the birthday club to get 20% off at the entertainer. Also zeek often have vouchers for there. Could try to combine the 2 to get some reduction
