Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Sorry for being thick but what are you guys saying to get the £5 credit?

Eldest wants the hideous crapping unicorn but even at that price I'm not sure I can bring myself to go through with it. :/

@Smellybears the best sort of art stuff we found was the Tomy Aquadraw. Thick, chunky "pens" which you fill with water and then draw on the mat and different colours appear depending on where you draw. Great for first mark making and there's no risk of them scribbling all over the wall or a piece of furniture when you're not looking.

That's a great price for the pooing unicorn, has anyone actually seen what they are like IRL? DD has just asked for one as they are on the front of the smyths catalogue, I cried a little bit inside when she selected that out of the entire catalogue and not what I had purchased yesterday on the spend and save deal!

Would highly recommend the galt water magic books, good for little ones and my 5 year old also loves them, great that you can reuse them

DD (4) has requested a big bus but I don't think such a thing exists. We have the happyland one but apparently it has to be bigger than that. If anyone knows where I could get one please let me know!

I posted about poopsie unicorn in thread 1 or 2 I think, worst thing I’ve ever bought and we paid full price for the bloody thing. It doesn’t work, so leaked everywhere and stained my table... but dd adores her Blush I’ve not let her make slime in it since the first time though.

@Smellybears I think they would be fine, my youngest hasn't been 'drawing' long and he loves them, the colours just appear when you add water. They are only cheap so if he was too young they would be ok in a couple of months.

I also have the paint sticks, they are not especially cheap but I would recommend them as they don't make a mess, they are just like prit sticks but paint!

I saw a bus in Smyths today that was a bit bigger than the happyland bus and looked good. I gazed at it for some time and then walked away as my house resembles smyths already and that's before Xmas.

It was £15 road rippers one, I haven't got the brain to link sorry

Thanks @Jammiebammie I will avoid. I need to remove the catalogue as she has been looking at it since. What is the unicorn like if not used to crap slime, is it plastic? Doesn't seem cuddly?

I think it depends who you get with amazon. The first guy to email me back said that he could “see” I had things in my basket.
Maybe if you fill your basket with expensive things before emailing they will be more likely to give out a fiver on the back of making a sale... cheeky but you never know!

That was pretty much it. Then they sent me £5. I couldn’t find it so said “ how do I claim this £5 I can’t seem to find it?”
the second person to email back ( who had diff name) said here’s another £5 for your trouble...
then the offer of a £5 off a £40 top up spend banner appeared along the top of my screen so I took that too 😂
