Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

If anyone sees the Sylvanian Sleigh Ride set price drop at any point, like the Halloween one did.. I live in hope Grin

Girlsnightin · 27/09/2018 19:34

How can you see if you've given an Amazon credit?

Betsy86 · 27/09/2018 19:41

nickdrakeslovechild i got the barbie care clinic for £30 in the asda toy sale so worth checking if that’s still on x

Sainsbury’s usially have a toy sale mid oct so im holding out for thst now as it often means other places will drop prices also.
Had 3 items for argos but ones not available so iv given up!xx

Jammiebammie · 27/09/2018 19:46

I emailed amazon as was a wee bit miffed I didn’t get the option to top up £40 and get the £5 credit - I do auto top up with them every week, plus between monthly prime, tv and orders I spend an absolute fortune.

This was the reply, seems to be invite only but they’ll chuck a fiver your way as a good will gesture if you email.

We’re doing couples gifts this year and was thinking of something like thespicery delivery as they like cooking but not exactly that one as they don’t like spicy foods - leaves me a bit stumped.. can’t do coffee or alcohol either...

Cheese?

Personwithnoname · 27/09/2018 20:04

Remember the cure and simple bacon subscription that was popular last year pink oink

NoHufflefucksGivenMugglefucker · 27/09/2018 20:04

Glad to see others are benefiting from amazons generosity 😁 if you don’t ask you don’t get I suppose 🤫

prominent5 · 27/09/2018 20:08

@monkeymonstermum glad someone could use it Smile

gaggiagirl · 27/09/2018 20:11

I've asked Amazon too. I spend a bloody fortune with them. I emailed them last night still waiting to hear back.

RaggieDolls · 27/09/2018 20:19

Thanks kitkat. I've bought Lego City for DS and Lego Friends for DD.

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 27/09/2018 20:21

GenerationBlueMascara · 27/09/2018 20:40

Victorias Secret are having a flash sale till 10pm tonight. 30% off any one item plus free delivery

Redrosebelle · 27/09/2018 20:48

I don’t suppose anyone has a mothercare / early learning code that I could use, please, do they? I will be forever in your debt Wine

Monkeymonstermum · 27/09/2018 20:51

I queried my lack of £5 bonus on amazon too via the live chat on the app. Got sent a link by email to do it but that said I wasn’t eligible! Went back onto live chat and they gave me £5 for the next order. It didn’t load up for about 10 mins but then worked.

Smellybears · 27/09/2018 20:53

Love the sound of the bacon subscription! 🥓🥓🥓

Smellybears · 27/09/2018 20:57

I’m after some chunky crayons if anyone can recommend some please? Sons first Christmas, he will be 11 months, they’re to go in his stocking. Do you think a colouring book also or will he be too little for one? FTM ☺️

Squ1ggle · 27/09/2018 20:59

@Smellybear try paint sticks (little Brian art) they make really great marks with little pressure on the paper so perfect for a wee one

Squ1ggle · 27/09/2018 21:00

@Smellybears sorry

Wilhelminawonka · 27/09/2018 21:00

Just picked up some smiggle headphones for £11 (down from £20) off their site so dd will be over the moon. P&p was heavy though but that's her gift sorted

Smellybears · 27/09/2018 21:07

@Squ1ggle they look good! Thank you! Do they last long?
Anyone else recommend crayons or other arty stuff for an 11 month old?

Squ1ggle · 27/09/2018 21:09

We love them @Smellybears, they've lasted pretty well in my experience

Goose86 · 27/09/2018 21:20

@Redrosebelle sent you a PM with a ELC code I didn't need. Hopefully it will work!

Alexindisguise · 27/09/2018 21:24

Thank you Cheekyfucker, that's disappointing but saves me continuing to look for him.

MsMiaWallace · 27/09/2018 21:24

Probably been mentioned but Halford's have a great offer a kids go karts, ride ons etc.
